Summary: Bre's
Review: A great movie for all the family! Strongly reminiscent of the cartoon version, this makes for one very enjoyable film. Glenn Close is simply stunning as Cruella. Whoever cast her is nothing less than a genius. However, the movie does tend to be more slapstick than real genuine humour.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not the best but for Cruella
Review: Certainly not my favorite Disney film. Although I loved Cruella. The late Marc Davis did an excellant job with her.

Summary: Worthy Compliment to the Original Classic
Review: Turning the animated classic into a live action movie was a big gamble, and it worked! The actors take on the personalities of the original animated characters, including Glenn Close as Cruella De Vil, who is wickedly over the top. The quality of the DVD is excellent , with sharp picture and very good sound. The only weakness in the movie was the lack of extras. Only a trailer, no outtakes or commentary. Disney should be able to bring better value to it's DVD's!

Summary: ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES IN HISTORY
Review: I can't tell you how much I love this. This is a gazillion times better than the animated feature : Better developed, more hilarious, better adapted and better performed. If you don't see this, you don't know what you're missing. It's highly recommended for all Disney/Animal/Comedy/Family Entertainment fans. This is definetely 100% better than that garbage they call 'Titanic'

Summary: "101 Dalmatians"
Review: Having watched both the live-action and the animated versions of "101 Dalmatians," I find the live-action version to be vastly superior. This updated classic has a fresh, fun storyline. The actors who play the characters seem perfectly suited for their roles. Glenn Close is particularly good as Cruella De Vil. The movie was filmed in England and each scene is beautifully crafted. The director has done a remarkable job of giving the dogs respected status as emotion-feeling, three dimensional characters without resorting to the silly and mundane method of giving them human voices. Being a dog trainer myself, the thing I most enjoy about the movie is the absolutely phenomenal job done by the dog handlers. Not only are the trained behaviors remarkable, but the handlers have elicited responses from the dogs that readily convey understandable "emotions" to the audience. The ONE glaring fault of this movie is the final scene where all of the dogs have been allowed to breed ad infinitum. I find that totally irresponsible and the reason this movie gets 4 stars instead of 5.

Summary: This is the best movie in the world!
Review: This movie was the best movie in the whole world! I love all the dalmatians to death! I have a dalmatian named Domino, and when we watch it she barks at the screen like crazy! Do yourself a favor and get this movie cause it is the best movie in the world!

Summary: A good family movie, if not a towering classic
Review: 101 Dalmations has a nice story and Disney really never surpassed this movie until Little Mermaid. The trouble, however, is the animation. I understand the challenge faced in trying to animate all those spots, and I realize that some people have convinced themselves that the style used is some fabulous milestone in animation (and it may actually appeal to some tastes). But to my my eyes, the animation style gives the movie a cheap look, more suited to a Pokemon TV show than a Disney movie. So all in all, a good movie that will mildly disappoint those expecting a towering Disney classic, but will still be enjoyable to most.

Summary: BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME
Review: This is among the best Walt Disney movies of all time. I just enjoy watching those puppies in action over and over again. They keep me laughing and in suspense! This is a must see for all!

Summary: DISNEY AND XEROX
Review: Pongo and Perdita have a litter of 15 puppies. Their mistress has a - shall we say - eccentric "friend" by the name of Cruella DeVille who takes an immediate fancy to the darling pups - she wants to get a hold of them - and many more - in order to make herself a lovely Dalmation Skin coat. Will Mom and Dad find their precious kids in time to rescue them from this heartless witch? This is a good - though not great - film for children and young-at-heart adults alike. The character of Cruella deVille is alternately funny and frightening. The animation itself was newly 'xeroxed' and done very well; some we see today aren't as good. Pongo and and his family are sure to delight future generations of kids world wide.
