Summary: Non-Stop Mom of Two In West Amwell
Review: 5 Stars to the Baby Einstein company for this collection and all of their other videos. I have all of the Baby Einstein videos ever made and they are by far my children's favorites. They are very educational from Birth through the childhood years. My daughters are both toddlers now and they still love these videos. I can attribute Baby Newton to teaching them shapes and colors; Baby Doolittle for animals, Baby Einstein for everyday surroundings. These videos are a must-have for all parents. *****+++++ I highly recommend them for all families.

Summary: Encore!!!!
Review: Best baby shower gift(s)anyone can ever get or give!!! My 8 month old son loves them all! He's been watching/listening since he was weeks old. I have dvds, videos to travel with and cd's for the car...won't leave home without them.

Summary: Too bad they lost the touch!
Review: Both of my children are in awe whenever one of these videos begins. The DVD formats and added content are superb. My son (3 yo) fell in love with them all over again now that my 1 yo daughter watches them! Their favorites are Baby Bach, Baby Shakespeare, Baby Van Gogh (my favorite too) and even Baby Mozart. They also both loved Baby Eistein, although my husband is disturbed by it because the words do not match the pictures. I guess it's not for concrete thinkers! The Doolittle series is slightly less clever, but cute...But WOW did they ever drop the ball with Baby Newton. Their new affiliation with Disney was a disaster! VERY different graphics (goofy computer graphics added), boring presentation (my kids didn't even finish watching it)...it got stale real fast. I hope they change back to the old format! We also recommend Bee Smart Baby Vocabulary, the First Impressions Series, and Baby Genius! All excellent!

Summary: Baby Einstein, Vol 1 (Einstein, Bach, Newton, Shakespeare)
Review: Can you say [bad]? I wouldn't be surprised if these "educational" videos actually induce limited attention span and disjointed thought processes: The presentation of images and toys is almost psychotically disorganized. Our 3-month old shows more interest in watching "Win Ben Stein's Money". We'll try again when he's a bit older - I'm just giving you the adult take.

Summary: My kids loved them!
Review: Even I watch! Kids love to see moving toys, bright colors, sound effects, and hear music. Not so impressed with some of the newer ones like Doolittle, and he one with the computer graphics turns me off, but the kids like it. I also bought the Speech Therapy Home Practice Videos Series: R Words All AroundUs, S Words All Around Us, and Vocabulary All Around Us - great for speech therapy practice!

Summary: Beware!
Review: I actually bought each one of these VHS tapes separately...and STILL I'm thankful that I've bought every one of the tapes in this series. My son (now 15 months) LOVES to watch these tapes, clap, squeal, and "dance" to the music. I'll let him sit in the living room floor, and enjoy the entertainment! While it gives my husband and I the much needed break! These videos put sight, sound, and motion all into effect. It's a fun way for little ones to start learning about animals, foreign language, ABC's and 123's, and much much more!

Summary: Excellent Choice
Review: I actually bought the DVD version of these videos which includes the same music that you can buy on the accompanying CD's. The visuals are well done to keep a baby/child entertained. My two month old loves it.

The only problem that I have is with the music that is performed. While the selection of music is wonderful and appropriate, its all performed on synthesizer. There aren't any authentic recordings of Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, or the other composers that are on the other videos. This may not bother you, but I cringed when I listened to the "Concert" portion of the DVD.

Summary: Completely Worth Buying!!!
Review: I bought my first Baby Einstein video while returning some duplicate shower gifts. My little girl is 5 months old and loves these things! They are captivating for children. No one can believe how engrossed she is in them. It offers another way to interact and entertain your child! Wonderful product!
