Review: I have seen this movie when i was a kid and i still love this movie. I am shopping around if i can get my hands on one. I need to show this movie to my wife. I think this movie is a must see for everybody at some point of thier life. Guys, you should trust this, the reason : This is my first review i have ever written on the internet. Summary: There is nothing better in the way of Fantasy then Willow !
Review: It makes me sad to see this movie dead.What makes it even sadder is that it is dead to the industry but not to the fans.From what i have seen in reviews of Willow it is very much alive and well in the heart of all fans. I first saw this movie when i was about 9 or 10 and i loved it.It was lost to me untill a saw it on TBS a few years ago and said i had to have it but i was in for a rude awakening."Sorry but it is out of print"the lass at the store told me . My heart sank i told her you have to find it for me.I was lucky they had a coby at another store and i got it in 2 weeks. If you have not seen this movie then you should.All you need to do is look at all the other reviews.I mean ther are about 101 five star reviews for this movie. I was lucky enough to discover Shadow moon ,Dawn , and star, but i want more, i want to see Willow reborn so my kids can see this movie, i do not want to see such a good movie died when there are so many fans that want to see it reborn.I am sure if Lucas made a sequel that it would let more people see the wonder of the world he created and then more people will want to see this movie. It just makes me sad to see a great movie died especially Willow.

Summary: My collection is waiting for this movie!
Review: An abandoned baby in danger find the "want to be" wizard Willow and the adventure begins. I have all the Tolkiens books and i never thinked in the relations: but Willow is near in "spirit" to Bilbo in "the hobbit", both left the confort and went to a travel beyond their imaginations. A friend rent this movie years ago because she supposed that: "i will like it"...and she was right! Warwick is corageous, sincere and determinated, i'm not a fan of Val Kilmer but in this picture he did it well, is good to know that he married Sorsha, excuse me, Joanne Whalley after completing this movie... I'M REALLY WAITING FOR THIS MOVIE!!!

Review: I beliave this movie is one of the greatest movies i've ever seen. In fact it is my favorite. I beliave Warwick Davis and Val Kilmer were excilent. The put on a stunning preformince. I belieave that George Lucas and Ron Howard shoud team up and make a sequal to this epic tale. Infact i think the should tell more people about this movie so there arn't just a few people who know about this movie

Review: Admit it. Willow is the best fantasy genre movie ever madesince the 80's, next to The Princess Bride. All around, the actingis excellent. Of the lead roles, Val Kilmer nearly steals the show, playing one of his best roles ever as legendary Madmartigan as if he was born for it. For the fantasy gamer out there, this movie has it all. Powerful swordsmen, novitiate wizards and mighty sorcerers, thieves, brownies, fairies, trolls, worgs, castles and kingdoms, and more -- everything a fantasy story should have to stimulate the imagination of young and old. Willow doesn't make the mistake that they made in the Dungeons and Dragons movie that came out at the end of 2000. If you know the good guys are going to win, you just can't expect to capitalize on drama, suspense, and beating sheer odds -- Hello Hollywood, that's only fun with dice! In Willow, the jokes and dialogue are playful, colorful, and plentiful. And they don't go anachronistic! Argh! Don't expect to sustain yourself on drama and suspense when writing a kid's fantasy movie. Willow of course makes none of these mistakes. The soundtrack is great, the replay value is excellent, the jokes make you laugh out loud. If you know what's good for you, you'll eat your blackroot and watch this movie!

Review: This is one of the best films our family has ever watched. It is action packed fantasy that entertains the grandparents and kids as well. We have owned a copy of this film since its release and can't tell how many times we've watched it since. We need to get a newer copy and are having difficulty finding one. Hopefully this film will soon get the recognition it deserves like other acclaimed films by Ron Howard. Our sons grew up watching this film and now in their teens and early 20's, they still pull it from the video library to watch it. We love the characters, but mainly those precious pecks!

Review: The first time i saw this excellent movie must have been about 10 or more years ago...at the time I was 9 years of age. I havent seen it since, I live in sweden so I seem to be the only one here that know the movie even existed =). A dvd release would sure bring back alot of good childhood memories and that would be awesome... Therefore i ll call george tomorrow and ask him to release it... don't thank me - im just so damn nice.=). // ciao

Summary: PERFECT Fantasy!
Review: "Willow" is one of my all-time favorite movies! The characters are so real. their personalities are so well developed, that it is hard to believe it a movie. The diologue is outstanding. My sister and i continuously quote it at each other. the brownies are hillarious! And Mad Martigan is awsome! Bavmorda is sooo evil. Willow is a great character who has adorible kids. Mims and Rannon are so Sweet ("Me too,Dada, me too!)! Tis is an unforgetaable film (the music is cool too)!

Review: WILLOW is a terrific movie, one of my favorites of all time. Val Kilmer, who can often seem a little too "weird" or simply annoyed to be there in some of his other roles, is the perfect reluctant hero. Joanne Whaley (Kilmer) is the best female fantasy character ever filmed. She's neither too vulnerable nor too testosteroned. The only other "princess" that can even hold a candle to her is Buttercup from THE PRINCESS BRIDE, but as much as I love TPB, I feel that Sorsha is a cooler heroine. Warwick Davis puts in an excellent central performance and is the heart of the film. The special effects were terrific, the story is simple yet rich, so that the film stands up to repeated viewings. Simply put, this was the last great fantasy film, and certainly one of the best of all time. Now if only they would release it on DVD. My VHS copy long ago went the way of the socks in the dryer (i.e. lost between moves). I know Lucas invested $$ in Laserdisc, but it's time for him to give it up and release STAR WARS, RAIDERS, and WILLOW on DVD. Pretty please George?
