Review: My kid loves this movie and rented it so many times that I finally purchased it. I believe it's a bit autobiographical--the mother writes the "story" for her daughter, only somehow the story turns out to be true. Russell Crow plays "The Man" (I read that he did the film for his horse-crazy niece) and does a fine job at it. The horses are beautiful, although I've never thought of a creamy palimino as silver. Oh well. As a parent, you can sit through this movie and not be bored to tears. Beautiful scenery, horses, nice story.

Review: This is a very good Horse show about a wild stallion which both my mom and I loved watching. Everyone in the family should like this show it is clean and keeps you glued to the TV wondering what will happen next to Thowra The Silver Stallion. I wish they made more clean shows like this one that everyone in the family can enjoy without worrying about foul language. GOOD SHOW GET IT AND WATCH IT!Excellent show!

Summary: Excellent horsemanship
Review: This movie was great! As a horseperson I could really appreciate the level of horsemanship displayed by the trainer of the horses, the filming is beautiful with spectacular scenery and very good acting.
Anyone who's children were upset by the ending would be well advised to get them to read the books, the horse does not die and I thought this point could have been better illustrated for the sake of younger children. In fact there is a whole series of wonderful books by Elyne Mitchell about Thowra and his adventures, they were my favourite books as a child.

Review: Enjoyed this film, even though it is more of a kid flick, not alot of dialogue, but Crowe proves once again that he can say a thousand words with just a look on his face.

Review: We rented this movie because my nearly 7 year old daughter LOVES horses and I figured with a G rating and good actors we couldn't go wrong. Well, it is beautiful and has a captivating story (although it could not hold my 5 year old's attention very well). But the ending was very upsetting to my daughter. She said to me "I thought you said this was rated G!" No doubt tonight and for some nights after I'll be dealing with the resulting nightmares... Just thought some parents might want to be forewarned.

Review: I love this movie its my favorite horse movie(trust me I have seen alot of horse movies). The music the way every thing is placed just makes you feel like your there and the horses are like a foot away. I defently recomend this movie for everyone.

Review: For those people who love horses, this movie is one of the BEST! I used to rent this all the time when it wasn't available to buy. Now I'm going to buy up a copy for sure! This is one of the best horse movies ever made about a wild horse. The Silver Stallion is a wild Austrailian horse who has an undying will to be free- and not even Man can contain his wild spirit. I hope this is released on DVD soon, because everybody should be able to watch this movie at its absolute BEST!!! May the Horse be With You!
