Review: Barney is O.K. in my book, but with this video he really has me hooked! Great entertainment for my toddler son and for my husband and of course for me. The songs helped me remember my beautiful childhood Christmas memories. With this video I feel that I am able to introduce to my young yet very receptive and bright son the true meaning of Christmas, sharing with families and friends. I gave this video as a gift without watching it, after seeing how captivating and so very entertaining it is, it shall be a number one gift for the next Christmas season.

Review: Before we had kids, I swore Barney would be banned from our house. Well, I've learned to appreciate Barney and what he teaches. Our toddler son absolutely LOVES this video. He can sit through the entire thing and he rarely sits still for anything. I'm not big on letting him watch lots of TV or videos, but this video I don't mind. Definitely worth buying.

Summary: Pleasantly surprised!
Review: I bought this dvd for my daughter because she loves Barney and sat and watched it the first time she watched it. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was actually an enjoyable show, even for adults (that is if you can stomach the purple thing!) The songs they sing are really nice and enjoyable to listen to....not typical of Barney in my opinion but then my daughter loves him. I have a feeling this will be a dvd we will continue to watch through the year.

Summary: Super-dee-dooper Christmas Video for the kids!
Review: I bought this video for my, now 3 1/2 year old, son and he loved it! We watched it almost every day during the Christmas season and sometime after that. This year we took it out for him and our 8 month old twin girls LOVE it!!! If they are really fussy and we just can't get them to quiet down, we pop in this Barney tape and they are immediately entranced. We call it the "Barney-coma." But it is a welcome calmer for two screaming babies! Overall, there is a great message about sharing, helping, togetherness for the holidays and friends. I actually enjoy the video and find myself singing the Christmas carols even when it isn't on!

Summary: Good -- But my son likes the older one better
Review: I thought this was a good tape. However, My son likes the older Barney tape called "Waiting for Santa" much better--It captures is attention and interest. I think the new Barney "Night Before Christmas tape" is for children who already understand the concept of X-mas and Santa. My son is 19 months and "Waiting for Santa" seems to be more entertaining for him. It seems to cater more to entertaining than to the X-mas concept.

Review: My 15 month old son LOVES this video. We bought it before Christmas and he's been watching it since. Someone likened it to a Barney-Coma, and I agree. It's like my son is in a trance when he watches this video, and the songs are so catchy my husband and I find ourselves singing them at work. The only problem is he cries for the remote saying "Barney" if it's not playing. We'll have to get Barney therapy!!! We are now looking for some other Barney tapes he's like as much as this one.

Review: My 4 and 2 year old girls LOVE this video this year and they LOVED it last year too. They ask for this Christmas video more than any other Christmas video. Well worth your money!
