Rating: Summary: Unexpected! Review: Okay, I have to admit that the Olsen Twins normally really really bug me. I used to watch their mystery videos when I was little, but since watching Passport to Paris about 11 billion times when babysitting, the twins have begun to grate on my last nerve. So I was surprised to find that when I watched Winning London on tv one day, I actually liked most of it. Of course, it had some required Mary-Kate and Ashley hokey-ness, puppy love, and schlock, but I thought it was fun, and surprisingly amusing. The acting was above par for their movies, largely in part to Jesse Spencer's great portrayal of James, a love interest (of course)and the rest of the debate team. The teen actors were very accomplished. My favorite character though, has to be Dylan, the strange, third wheel vidfreak who is one of the team members. Dylan is played hysterically by Erc Jungmann of 'Not Another Teen Movie'. Overall, Winning London was an Olsen Twins movie, complete with the soppy sweet closing shot of the young lovers riding away into the sunset on horses. But it was an enjoyable one.
Rating: Summary: Pretty Good Review: Winning London is not one of my favorite Mary-Kate and Ashley movies but it is still good because these girls are great. The movie starts with the girls' national relations team winning a trip to London. While there, of course the girls fall in love with two stunningly handsome boys, but while coupling up they must study for their contest. The group is very creative throughout the contest, but will their relationships cause a loss for their team?? Watch this great adventure to find out how the girls Win London!
Rating: Summary: European ambiance Review: I absolutley enjoyed this movie from beginning to end. Ashley who is pining over Brian(plays Travis in their new series)while Chloe is head over heels for this prince charming James(Jesse Spencer,Aussie).I like the moments between Riley(MK) and James the most, because they have a few heart to hearts, and it is really sweet. I also like when they are in the club dancing to this crazy sounding music, and James is dancing so goofy(too cute). I appreciated that the movie tried to teach that winning isn't everything(Ex:Riley and James playing polo). I love the history that is shown in this movie, also. Westminster abbey is filmed with Mary Queen of Scots' tomb, and some others. I didn't feel like this movie was made by an american director, but by a european director that brought England to the viewer. It was sort of mod, but at the same time had a very fashionable, Euro ambiance.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful movie!!!!!! Review: Okay, I'm not going through all the details, but if you want a movie that is just a feel-good film, not a whole bunch of shooting, sex, and drugs, this is perfect. I love the movie and I've seen it 4 times in the last 2 days. Watch it, and love it
Rating: Summary: "Winning London" Review: This movie was great! I absoultly loved the plot and the setting! London shined! Mary-Kate and Ashley win a free trip to London after winning a Model United Nations contest. They run into a few problems, but they works through them. They meet cute quys, which happens in all of their movies. It's a great movie and MAry-Kate and Ashley play their roles extrememly well and they put alot of effort into their parts. It's an excellent movie that can only be rated 5 stars!!
Rating: Summary: Their BEST movie yet! Review: This movie was the BEST among all their other films. Their taste in boys is improving. Although when Ashley & Brian kissed in the air-duct, it was like they were practically adults. I don't think they should have put that scene in. It was enough that they all kissed in the boat. I loved the part when the group tried to make the queen's guard laugh though. But my favorite part in the whole film was when the girls fenced in the Globe Theatre and rode scooters. I loved it when they played 'So Little Time' by Arkana. MKA fans, you have GOT to watch this!!!!
Rating: Summary: One word: Eww... Review: I honestly don't like the Olsen Twins. They've somehow become very popular and I don't understand why. They can't act, they're ugly, and their movies are so horrible and cliche. The plots of their movies all basically have the same structure: They have a problem, they ship off to some country to solve it, meet a couple of guys along the way, and then live happily ever after. They are never the ones to fail and everything always turns out how they want it to. Where's the fun in that? The only good thing about their movies is that they have pretty decent looking guys in them. I pity those poor young men actors who have to actually kiss them... *ahem* But I guess they can get past it since they get paid. Yeah, so if you decide to watch any of their movies out of pure temporary insanity or stupidy, at LEAST say it was because you wanted to see the guys. Bottom line: Don't buy this movie... in fact, don't buy any of them. P.S. In case you DO want to watch their movies after all that's been said, watch them on ABC Family. They show the Olsen Twins movies all the time.
Rating: Summary: parents pleasable, kid great Review: the boys are cute and it shows alot of London, so info and yet kid friendly. the kissing could get intense
Rating: Summary: Wining London Review: This would have to be one of Mary-Kate and Ashleys best movie yet. In the movie Winning London Mary-Kate plays Cloe, a girl who always wants to win. One day her team gets asked to be in the Modle UN(united nations) when one of the team members can't come Cloes sister Rihley(Ashley) who likes brian one of the team members. When they get to London Cloe falls for a cute English boy named James(Jeses). I recomend this movie to all ages.
Rating: Summary: Amazing! Review: This has to be one of the best Mary Kate and Ashley movies yet. Take Mary Kate and Ashely Olson, mix them in with London, England, a Harry Potter reference, a dash of romance, humor, video games, and Model U.N., and you get this spectacular show. Anyone who liked the other movies that Mary Kate and Ashley Olson were in will definetly love this.
