Summary: The Wiggles Magical Adventure
Review: We bought this video when my son was 14 months old and he was just getting into The Wiggles. When I first bought it I thought it was going to be them singing the whole time, I didnt really read the back of the cover. When I first played this video for him he wasnt interested at all, but now that he is 18 months he has to watch it almost every day. He brings the dvd cover to me and does his little wiggle dance, telling me he wants to watch it. Sometimes he wants to watch it all day, of course I dont want him sitting in front of the TV all day. But when I do put it on he will watch it from start to end and he does all the dances. I must admit I hated sitting through this movie at first but now its grown on me. I actually find myself watching it with him. My overall opinion is that this movie is for children 18 months and older and its very entertaining.

Summary: Not as slick as the show, but fun for kids
Review: My 22-month-old loves this movie ("WallyWallyWally," as she calls it--a reference to the theme song about the film's protagonist), and she will gladly sit through it several times straight through if I allow her to. Initially, I was surprised. She adores The Wiggles, and we own quite a few of their videos. Yet, at her age, her attention span is short, and she typically gets up and leaves the room after just a few songs, regardless of which tape she's watching.

So, when I sat down to watch this with her the first time and saw that it was a traditional movie, with dialogue and plot, I didn't expect much. But for some reason, it holds her interest, and she does her best to explain to me what's going on in the simple but pleasant story (regarding a sad-sack magician, Dorothy's disappearance on her birthday, and The Wiggles' efforts to find her in time for her surprise party).

After a few viewings, the film began to remind me more than a little of "Barney's Great Adventure," which my son became similarly addicted to five years ago. The two have a lot in common--similar plots and production, simple set dressings featuring bold colors, slapstick comedy, cheesey special effects, etc. But I would rather watch this film any day than that one, as I suspect most parents would.

The film isn't great, but it's not horrible, either. And over time, it's more likely to hold the kids' interest than the monotony of the song-collection videos from the group.

Summary: Least Annoying for Adults
Review: Own several of the Wiggles DVD. This is by far the most tolerable for adults and a FAVORITE of the children; half decent plot and music is fine. The tunes are varied, harmonious, and catchy. My daughter's third word was "Dorothy". Don't mind this DVD being played continuously.

Summary: Lizziesmama
Review: This is the best Wiggles tape. And I do believe my daughter has them all! My daughter does all the dances with them. As soon as she sees "Wally" riding his bike and the intro song she gets excited. This movie has allowed for many a relaxing shower for me!

Summary: Great Wiggly fun
Review: My 2 1/2 year old loves the Wiggles and this movie was not a dissapointment. I bought this for him well before his 2nd birthday and he's loved it from the start. We have several other Wiggles DVD's and he likes this one the best. I know that some of the other reviews have said that this should be for older kids, but I think this one is worth a try if your child is a Wiggles fan. It's also more tollerable for my husband and I to sit through because it actually has a story line. It may be dissapointing to some that the Wiggles aren't the main focus of the entire movie, but overall it's been very entertaining for my son.

Summary: The best Wiggle movie yet!(...)
Review: Although this is one of the older Wiggle movies, it is their best one by far. It is very colorful, up-beat and happy! This is when the Wiggles actually lived in Wiggle World, Captain Feathersord was actually a real captain, there still lived the Wagets and Henry's underwater big band,(...) The newer stuff doesn't come close to this movie. The new music, deletion of main characters, and addition of the Wiggly dancers (how annoying) is a big disappointment in the latest DVD releases. In addition, the production of Magical Adventure seems the most like a real movie and not like home video.

Summary: Great for ANY age, including babies!
Review: I can't imagine what kid wouldn't like this--I bought it a few weeks ago and my daughter (6 months old) LOVES it! I put it in every day for her and she immediately ogles at the sound of "Hey There Wally," the opening song. She perks up (or stops fussing, if that's the issue at hand) and coos at the TV. I'm now shopping for other DVDs, b/c we love this one so much! Catchy tunes (addictive, too), lots of movement and color, and a simple but enjoyable plot-within-a-plot. LOVE IT!

Summary: Not Great for Kids under 2
Review: I bought this DVD because My 19-months old daughter loves the Wiggle's first one, Dance Party. I thought I might like it better because it's longer (70 minutes vs. 35 minutes on Dance Party)and has more story to it. But it's actually too long for her to sit through and seems too difficult for her to follow the storyline. It is, though, much better quality and more entertaining for me (and older kids). I don't regret that I bought it because I know my daughter will grow to like it probably better than Dance Party soon but for now it's not really her favorite.

Summary: Even more Wiggle songs to run through your head!
Review: I bought this dvd for my son for Christmas since he can't get enough of the Wiggles on Disney channel. Since then we've watched the dvd at least once a day, if not twice. He will go get the dvd case and bring it to me and dance around while I put the dvd in. This movie has at least a little depth and storyline to it and is entertaining enough that my 14 month old son is interested for the entire 70 minutes. If you're at all like me, you'll find yourself humming "who is Captain Feathersword" later during the day.

Summary: THIS MOVIE MAKES ME FEEL SORRY FOR GREG!
Review: It isn't like Greg to do this to me when he was being careless about the wand-not even knowing that it would get stolen from his enemy. The Wiggles unknowingly cause Dorothy to get so upset and confused...she should've promised to still be surprised, even if the Wiggles told her the truth about her birthday. Greg is my favorite Wiggle, and I can't help saying that Walley stealing his wand is like threatening to kill him.
