Summary: SIMON YOU ARE WRONG
Review: The Superman series premiered for the first time on the WB Sunday night with the 90 min The Last Son of Krypton. It was re edited over the next 3 Saturdays to look like separate episodes. As far as the DVD goes it's as great as everybody says and I cant wait for the box set either. I also wish the same for the hulk animated series (DON'T GIVE ME A HARD TIME! I KNOW IT'S 2 DIFFERENT PRODUCTION COMPANIES FROM 2 DIFFERENT COMIC BOOK SOURCES BUT I LIKE THEM BOTH ANYWAYS)

Summary: Excellent movie
Review: This "movie" comprises the first three episodes of the superb Superman: The Animated Series. It is an excellent introduction to Superman, and one of the best of the first season. (...)If you're not a completist then don't buy this, because(...) there is a box set due out in the summer. I bought it for the sole purpose of having it in a movie format.

Summary: Super Story
Review: This is the 90 minute pilot to the Superman cartoon series from Warner Brothers. The story is excellent. I am very pleased with the care that was taken in trying to retell the original Superman legend making it identifiable for adults and interesting for kids. The entire series was well produced and I sincerely hope that someday the series will be available as a DVD boxed set.

Summary: Superman Rocks!
Review: This video is one of the greatest animated films of all time. It captures the feel of Superman from his childhood to his adulthood. Though the makers of this film have changed the story a bit, they still kept most of it intact and showed great flying sequences. This film rocks and you should buy it right away without any thoughts. The film also shows the time before the destruction of Krypton and Clark when he was in high school. It even shows the time when Brainiac was still a computer system! If you like Superman but don't know a lot about him, this movie would definently help you. It also shows Metallo before he became a robot. Cool huh? Anyway this film rocks and you should buy it.

Summary: The Last Son of Krypton
Review: This video is the compilation of the first three episodes of Superman: The Animated Series, which originally aired primetime on September 6, 1996.

I love this movie because it's a Superman story told through a visual medium. As a fan of Superman and animation I can safely say this movie captures the true spirit of Superman. The movie is mostly action, but drama is incorporated throughout the story.

The film deals with the destruction of Krypton, Clark Kent in high school, and Superman's first romps through Metropolis.

If you don't have access to Kids'! WB to watch The New Batman/Superman Adventures, The Last Son of Krypton will give you a great taste of what you're missing.

Summary: Left me wanting to see more
Review: What a great episode to open one of the best animated superhero runs!!!. A heartbreaking kryptonian origin, the formative years, and Superman's first appearance gave the series the best kick-off possible. The episode is well paced, the plot is engaging and the music befits the charachter.

Summary: Yet another tail of how the Man of Steel came to be!
Review: With stunning new animation and breathtaking affects, The Last Son of Krypton tells the story of how Krypton was destroyed and how Kalel was raised by the Kents. It also introduces Superman's arch foe, Lex Luthor and his new weapon, the Lexo Suit. Also featuring the voices of Tim Daily as Superman and Dana Delany as Lois Lane. It is certainly the best thing to kick off the new animated Superman series on the WB network!
