Summary: Simply Superb!!
Review: "We're on our way to Wiggles Bay..." begins the song, and for the rest of the film, young and old are transported to a magical land called Wiggles Bay, where you meet all the characters - Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, a Mermaid, and even a phone call from King Neptune>

A very cleverly devised and produced video for the family, and the songs are unique and very creative. This one has grown on me, and my twin daughters just LOVE IT!!!

Summary: One of the best
Review: According to my three year old son who just has to be the biggest Wiggle Fan in Tennessee..."This is the greatest!!!" I was a bit reluctant to get this video after the Wiggles movie (which even my son disliked). But in all actuality I think this is probably our favorite, even over Toot-Toot! We have watched Wiggle Bay more times than I can count and I still sit down to watch with the children. Wiggle Bay is very reminiscent of the old Monkees shows. Hope you enjoy as much as we do!!!

Summary: My Kids and I love it
Review: After reading many of the reviews of Wiggle Bay, I was hesitant on buying this DVD. However, the Wiggles have not produced anything my family hasn't liked, so I bought it. I'm glad I did! We (My 3 and 7 year olds, and I) really enjoyed Wiggle Bay, just like the rest of their productions. We purchased the cd-rom, The Wiggles, Wiggle Bay, by Disney Interactive as well. Thank you Wiggles for providing excellent entertainment that's creative, different, and fun. Can't wait for your new DVD to be released in the U.S., Space Dancin'

Summary: Please ask them to go back to the old style!
Review: Between this one and Safari, I can't tell which is worse.
They share the same costumes, dancers, and even the songs have the same tunes with different words.
There is absolutely no attempt to teach anything at all, the whole production is overacted and unfunny and totally forgettable. You get the impression that they just put it all together in a weekend to make a quick buck.
In one case, the Captain's clothes change from wetsuit to regular costume and back to wet suit in seconds during a song.
Bring back the kids - bring back the original choreographer - bring back the originality - bring back the music and catchy songs - BRING BACK PRODUCTIONS LIKE TOOT TOOT, YUMMY YUMMY, AND WAKE UP JEFF! PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE...
The only redeeming feature is the beach setting, so my son watches this video to see the sand and sea.

Summary: I have seen the future of Wiggles Videos and it is this...
Review: First Wiggly Safari came out and it was a little shift of formula: a Wiggles video with a theme and the setting was outdoors (instead of their filming studio with blue screens and cheesey special effects). Now the latest Wiggles project does much the same: outdoor theme (hence the title) no cheesy effects and thank goodness Greg's 5 minute magical act has been removed too. The Wiggles are still lovable and yes your children will still love the songs. Let's face it we buy the videos for the songs and this video has 10 1/2 catchy songs (I'm sorry but Rolliing Down the Sandhill and Running Up the Sandhill are the same song just with different words). The one thing that this video does not have are the children dancers. The dancing is still there but with adults (I guess it is harder to work with children). If you and your kids loved Wiggly Safari then this will be enjoyed by all again. It is a good video but not their best that honor still goes out to either Toot Toot, Yummy Yummy or Wiggle Time. Apparently the theme videos from the Wiggles will continue in the future; the next one will be in outer space.

Summary: The Wiggles do it again !
Review: Great DVD ! The Wiggles put out another great video to their collection.

This is one of my kids favorite Wiggles videos. Great songs and production. Only one disappointment, no children dancers.
Great to see them use one of their adult dancers (Niaomi Wallace) as a new Wiggle friend, "Magdalena the Mermaid".

So, sit back and enjoy some rosey tea while you watch this DVD.
This is a must for all Wiggles' fans.

Summary: Very good, very entertaining...
Review: Having a 3-year old, my wife and I became instant fans of the wiggles. Now our daughter is telling us to turn their music down! After watching them on Disney Channel for a while and buying their CDs, it was time for their videos/DVDs. The only two that are available on DVD is the Magical Adventure (The Wiggles Movie) and this one, their latest. Though the former suffers from distancing themselves from their audience by using standard film and story techniques, the later however, includes less story and more "sing-to-the-camera" songs. The Wiggles are bad actors anyway (sorry, guys...) so they should concentrate on doing what they do best - singing and entertaining children. They are terrific live, too!

Summary: Not my favorite Wiggles DVD
Review: I was a bit disappointed in Wiggle Bay. The music seemed slow and wasn't catchy enough for my 2 year old. He just doesn't seem to get that Wiggly dancing feeling. It seems rather short, and just didn't compare to some of their other videos.

The whole thing being shot on the beach was [weak]. They should have had a set on the beach, or at least done some songs in the studio with a beach theme. Anything to make it more interesting, because this video just seems to lack the energy and excitement that is characteristic of the Wiggles.

Our favorite videos so far have been Hoop-Dee-Doo and Wiggly Safari. He loves those and will watch them over and over! I hope the Wiggles make that extra Wiggly effort on their next video to include catchy tunes and a lively set.

Summary: A Welcome Change of Pace
Review: I was a little skeptical after the first viewing of this new video but my 3 year old son had no objections at all. He watched it four times in a row and it has become his favorite. Unlike most of their other videos, this one has a plot and the musicical styles reflect different genres from 60's beatnik to "island" inspired ...all of which my son loves. My son loves the mermaid Magdalena and shouts her name whenever she appears for a song or scene. Wiggle Bay is diferent but it is really good and I'd recommend it to all Wiggle fans for a great change of pace.

Summary: Another "rob-job" by The Wiggles
Review: I'll save anyone reading my review the repitious unsatisfactory comments mentioned by other reviewers. I'll just say that I agree with them all. We have at least ten of the Wiggles videos and a few CD's- all are satisfactory or outstanding ( we do not have the theater release one). What a disappointment this new video was for me. But, this is not who the video is intended for is it! So, the $... question is---what did my kids think of it. Well, seeing how they were strapped into their carseats eating McDonalds junk food as they watched this video for the first time they were totally satisfied and not going anywhere! My one child did want to watch it again as soon as it was over and also it was the first thing he requested upon waking from his nap. So, will I be listening to this sickly "Love Boat" / "Don't Worry Be Happy" cabana type dribble anymore? Chances are, if you give your kids a new Wiggles video, they're going to want to watch it again and again! I'd rather have to wait longer for new Wiggles videos than get bogus, thrown together , cheap-o productions like this one.
