Summary: As A Parent And Teacher The Wiggles Are AWESOME!
Review: When I first viewed The Wiggles in little segments between the daily lineup on Playhouse Disney, I thought they were so annoying, but my daughter loved them! So, I bought the Yummy Yummy video, and watched it with my daughter. Sher is 2, and I have not seen a child get so into a video. She dances around and can even do some of the dances! I have never seen her do this before to anything else. As an early childhood educator, The Wiggles are a great asset for teachers and a great way for children to learn and have fun at the same time. First of all, each song is catchy, complete with an easy dance routine to go with it. These Aussies take old songs as well as original songs that they wrote and put a new, interesting spin on it, complete with dinosaurs, pirates and dogs that dance around as well. Most of the songs do teach about something, whether it be about food, animals, numbers, or professions. I use these videos and music when I'm working with students and they love it. The best part, is that they get exercise and not even realize it, because they are enjoying themselves so much. Although as a parent you may seem apprehensive about them at first, give them a chance. They do grow on you, and you will see that your child will actually learn something while having fun at the same time!

Summary: The Wiggles - Yummy Yummy
Review: Our daughter is 20 months old and just LOVES these guys!!! This video is so much fun and she is always asking to watch it. The puppets are different and unique - she was not bothered by them at all - actually I think they are quite comical and entertaining - I guess it all depends on the eyes you use to view the world. They remind me of throw-backs from the 60's which I thought was a lot of fun. I would also recommend Wiggly, Wiggly World - she likes that video even more lately. It has a TON of singing and dancing - not boring at all and I actually use it as an exercise tape you do so much dancing with it!! She just absolutely loves it. These are wonderful, colorful, entertaining gentlemen that are so much fun to watch - even my teenagers get a charge out of them.

Summary: OK, except for the ugly puppets
Review: My 2-year-old son loves the wiggles & likes this video a lot. There are enough catchy songs on it. The only thing we didn't like were the 2 segments that had those awful looking puppets. Although it didn't seem to scare my toddler, I skip those parts anyway because I can't stand looking at them & hearing the voice they used for the music (high-pitch---sounds like it was being fast-forwarded).Anyway, still a good addition to our Wiggles collection.

Summary: The Wiggles in General
Review: I have a 6 month old son who is such a handleful. Was watching Disney while I was in the kitchen...all of a sudden my son was dead quiet. I ran in fearing the worst and to my amazement there were 4 colorful men jumping around and they had mezmerized me son. I figured it must have been a fluke...but two videos later I can't imagine what I would do without them. He loves them. The only thing even similar to his amusement in them are the hello and goodbye songs of Bear. NOTHING else has entertained my son like The Wiggles.

Summary: Really- The puppets are scary!
Review: Just wanted to write my own review to say that our family loves the Wiggles and can sing pretty much all of their songs along with them as well as do the dance moves that go along with them. This tape is not as good as "Toot Toot" or "Wiggle Time". The puppets segments truly are weird and scary with high-pitched, teeth-grinding singing and gross-looking puupets with psychedelic (sp?) images. I bought this one for my one year old and her one year old cousin to enjoy while we were visiting over Easter and both of them were scared of the puppets and couldn't wait for that part to be over. Most of the time they would run out of the room to get away. Really obnoxious! The rest of the tape is good but we couldn't get used to the puppets and have trashed this tape!

Summary: Love it!
Review: My 11 month old son adores this video. Since we have purchased it, he has taught himself to clap his hands,make a fist, toot the horn, bang the hammer and point his finger. Singing him a tune earns an instant smile even at his crankies time of the day. We pop it in at dinner time, get to eat in peace, and be entertained by our happy, dancing baby. I highly recommend this video to all parents, as well as Elmo's World, which he has adored since he was 4 mos.old.

Review: This is one of the greatest videos! I bought it for my 1yr old daughter - and to my surprise, my 4 & 6yr olds LOVED IT too! The singing never stops - the colors are vibrant - and its great exercise for the kids! We love it!

Summary: Good video...but beware of the puppet segments
Review: My 21-month old son loves the Wiggles. We have many of the Wiggles tapes and CDs. This video has a lot of good songs on it and it transitions from song to song without a lot of talking between them. However, I didn't give this video 5 stars because there are two segments that used Wiggle puppets that just scared the heck out of my son. I don't know what creative mind thought it was okay...but you might want to be careful when you come to those segments.

Review: Wow! Our family just loves the Wiggles. And YUMMY YUMMY is fast becoming a favorite. Thanks to the Wiggles for finally giving us parents childrens videos that won't run us out of the room. My children and I sing and dance together and have a wonderful time. We highly recommend YUMMY YUMMY! Mom and her two little Wigglers
