Summary: Keeps my baby entertained - but no more puppets!
Review: My baby loves this video. We take it with us when she is going to her aunt's or grandma's house. But the puppets are scary! They are sort of demented looking and freaky. Hopefully they won't do that again! I too saw the preview on the Barney video and thought it was cute. (Had they put those puppets in the preview, we would not have gotten it.) She's not afraid of them, so we don't have to fast forward through them. But, she enjoys all the songs - except for a couple slow ones that she gets bored with. Overall, its fun and for the most part, danceable. I just ordered "Wiggle Time" and we'll see how that one goes. Another plus - this video has taken over for Barney and the Teletubbies (yeah!).

Summary: Fun! Fun! Fun!
Review: My 14 month old loves this video, puppets and all! She especially likes the puppet features. We have both this tape and the Wiggle Time tape. This one is her favorite of the two. The songs are energetic and catchy. They make her want to dance and really keep her attention. She loves the "joanie" song and "hot potato." I still find the video entertaining, and I have watched it many, many times. They guys look like they really enjoy what they do.

Summary: Wiggles have catchy songs, yet a few annoying sequences
Review: While my neice and nephew visited for over a week, this was the one video that was played (over and over) the most. The children love the music, and especially enjoy the octopus, Henry. I enjoyed it because whenever my neice was crying, she could usually be placated up by saying "fruit salad" whereupon she usually responed "'ummy, 'ummy". My only complaint, besides the inane Elvis impersonations, is the use of the puppets. These hideous creatures are supposed to resemble the cast of caracters. The sequence seems to be an attempt of remix, complete with vertigo swirls, and disco dancing reminiscent of "saturday night fever". The music of this scence is annoying due to a repetitous "biee" which is supposed to establish a beat. I can understand why the son of one reviewer was scared. The puppets made me want to run out of the room as well.

Summary: Freaky Puppets but my kids love them!
Review: After listening to the Yummy Yummy cassette, I bought the video to watch my kids dance. Although the cassette has many more songs, the video is very appealing (except for the freaky puppets, but it is for the kids, and they think the puppets are funny) and the wiggle men are quite energetic and really get my kids, ages 4 and 18 months, up and dancing. Although, one number has me scratching my head - for some reason, during he Hebrew song Havenu Shalom Alachem, they feature dancing Oktoberfest girls instead of say, perhaps, an Israeli theme. Didn't make sense to me. Then again, it's for the kids and kids didn't seem to notice!

Summary: Wiggle Time
Review: We Love the Wiggles! Our 2 and 5 year old daughters know all the songs and the characters. If Barney was comming to town and the Wiggles the same day, we'd pick the Wiggles. The best video is Wiggle Time. Its pretty long and has lots of great songs. We also have one of the Wiggles C.D's. I just can't say enough, except more, more more...... WIGGLES RULE.

Summary: another great one
Review: My son absolutely loves the Wiggles. They have usurped the Teletubbies and even Barney as his favorites. I don't understand the puppet-bashing though. I think they're really cute, and they make my son laugh. Overall, a great video for getting couch potato kids up and moving.

Summary: Wiggles - we love 'em - especially the puppets
Review: We agree with everything the other reviewers said - our 2 year old is enthralled - walks around singing "yummy yummy" all the time, etc. - BUT ALSO - we LOVE the puppets - the manic, happy energy - the pure silliness - so we hope they continue the puppets as well

Summary: Fairly Yummy - The Wiggles
Review: I had heard about the Wiggles in Barney video previews and then read a review about them in a parenting magazine. The review there was very positive so we decided to buy Yummy Yummy and Time to Wiggle from Amazon as we could not find it otherwise in Canada. My 1 1/2 year girl and 2 1/2 year old boy LOVE the Wiggles, in particular, Captain Feathersword. I really like the fact that my son (who is currently undergoing investigation for some problems he is having socializing) really interacts with this video. He tries to sing to it and does all the actions. The down side here are the puppets... they scare the bejeebers out of me never mind the kids. They bear no resemblance to the people themselves and what they are actually doing in the video is unclear (except to maybe introduce the kids to what a nightmare is). Otherwise, well done, non-repetitive, and easily a favorite and entertaining video. For the adults, not annoying at all and very easy on the eyes.

Summary: A Downer from Down Under
Review: My daughter (21 months)LOVES Wiggle Time, so we wanted to keep it up with YUMMY YUMMY, but, I agree with the other reviews: too much down time, just watching very slow songs and no real interaction. Also, the puppets are scary (between the ugly faces and the high pitched voices) I felt like it was a 60's acid trip instead of kid's entertainmentA! Not at all what we expected and we were very disappointed.
