Summary: The Wiggles Keep Getting Better!
Review: My 2 children, ages 8 & 6, & I are HUGE fans of The Wiggles since December 2000. We have every Wiggles video that's available in the US & we couldn't wait for Wiggly Safari to come out! The Wiggles just keep getting better & better! The music is rocking & my kids & I are dancing!! My daughter does her version of "ballet" to Butterflies Flit, she's 6. We enjoy The Croc Hunter & family & seeing the Australia Zoo. We love looking at all the animals & the Kookaburra cracks them up & they imitate the laugh all the time! They love watching Captain Feathersword swimming with the dolphins & being his silly self! Everyone looks like they're having a great time singing & dancing (it must be hard to dance in a zoo!) & they're teaching children & adults as well about different animals & to make sure that you are careful & don't touch them because they're wild, in a fun & positive way. Anthony, Greg, Murray & Jeff have done another excellent job writing great songs! Good on ya mates! As usual I have more Wiggles songs stuck in my head all day long & at times I want to dance but I don't think they'd appreciate my singing & dancing at work! We also love watching the out takes at the end! Another great job by The Wiggles!

Summary: My 2 year old who only wants to watch WIGGLES.....
Review: My 2 year old who only wants to watch WIGGLES 24/7 (if possible) isn't too enthralled when I pop in this DVD. Some of the worst songs they have ever done are contained here. Sounds like they made them up as they went along - line by line. I wish more WIGGLES selections were on DVD. Until then, we'll have to get them from satellite.....
(This is my first review, so bear with me)

Summary: My Family Loves This Video!
Review: My entire family, including my senior citizen parents and my three nephews(ages 6, 4 and 2)loves this video. Wiggly Safari was filmed at the Australia Zoo and each song is about a different Australian animal. Some songs, like Kookaburra and Cocky Want a Cracker, are upbeat and energetic, while others, like Koala la la and Butterflies Flit are melodic and soothing. There's plenty of Wiggly humor throughout(for example, Anthony getting doused by a fake tidal wave) and the video is just a whole lot of fun. My nephews love to act out the songs, especially Snakes, and the 4 year old eagerly announced that he wanted to be a Kookaburra for Halloween(he's since decided to be Superman). The songs are catchy and I always have one of them stuck in my head after watching the video. The Irwins were enthusiastic and fun, and Bindi is adorable! The only criticisms I might be able to come up with are that the two songs that were filmed at a concert seem a little like filler to me and that the songs were listed in the wrong order on the packaging. Otherwise, this video is a strong effort by the Wiggles and my nephews request it over and over! I love it!

Summary: Huge dissapointment!
Review: My daughter loves the Wiggles. But this video was far to advanced for my 22 month old. She can't follow a single move and I know it dissapoints her. Though she may like some of the songs and seeing the animals between the songs, the moves are beyond her. And there is at least one part where she comes running to me in fear. I think the was a poor thought out show and I'm sorry I purchased it.

Summary: Wild and Wiggly
Review: I have to say that we love the Wiggles at this house... so I give them 3 stars for just being the Wiggles.

However, we don't like watching this video. The pace of the editing is way too frantic... frenetic even. My son, who is just 2, says, "Turn it off" or "No Wiggles", and promptly leaves the room. I'd watch it... but he just doesn't want to.

Why did they do this? Could the answer be that some of the dancing moves are not up to the Wiggles standard (on songs such as "Cocky Want a Cracker" and "Kookaburra Chorus") and thus, the flashing images are meant to make up for unimaginative choreography (sorry guys, just the way I see it)?

Now, to be fair to the 'guys', we are not a TV family. We watch videos because I believe that the hectic presentation of most TV is harmful for young children (and many children's videos are edited at a slower pace). For families who don't mind watching television programming, this DVD will probably not present any problems. And, I'm sure when my child is older, he'll be able to watch this and will probably enjoy it. But not right now.

We like Steve Irwin. We like the animals. We like the Wiggles. We like the songs. We just don't like the crazy editing.

Summary: Not the Wiggles Best
Review: This is the worst Wiggles offering that I have seen so far. The majority of the songs are slow dirges that don't inspire anybody to get up and wiggle.

The animal information is fine, and one or two songs are educational to an extent, but nothing in the league of earlier Wiggles productions. The overacting, and the bad costumes and choreography make this one look like a low budget home movie.

We don't play this one too often, but it sometimes comes in handy, because after about 10 minutes, my son falls asleep! For this it gets 2 stars.

Summary: kids love it parents cover your eyes
Review: This is the Monkees meets Barney with an Aussie twist. The kids love it and annoying as the Wiggles may be to adults they get the kids up and dancing. Steve Irwin did this video because his daughter loves the Wiggles . Kids two favorite shows come together.

Summary: Boy, were we disappointed!
Review: My daughter and I are both huge Wiggles fans, but I found this tape to be not up to their usual standard, and she found it rather boring (she's 22 months old). Not even getting into the *10 minutes* of commercials in the beginning of the tape, none of their "hits" were on the tape. The music wasn't up to their usual standard. The whole thing took place in the Australian Zoo, which was sort of cool, but just didn't do it for us. Different is always a risk, but I don't think this worked for them. The only reason I gave it two stars is because we still love the Wiggles! I hope their next release is more like their traditional releases, though.

Summary: Our 2 1/2 month-olds FAVORITE!
Review: We just got our copy of Wiggly Safari yesterday. Our 2 1/2 year-old watched it for the first time this morning. She absolutely loves this tape already. Every 10 minutes she would race into the kitchen to tell her mother, "New Wiggles! Has Animals! Wow!" Then race back to watch more.

She has only watched the tape once, but already has learned the words "crocodile" and "kangaroo" and several other new animal names, and has even pointed them out correctly during the video.

Yes, Steve Irwin is hyper. . .I wish I was as excited about my job as he is! His enthusiasm certainly got our daughter excited about this tape and the animals of Australia! We are hoping there is a Wiggly Safari PART 2 coming soon!

Summary: Wonderful video
Review: My son is 17 mths old and this is his first Wiggles video and he absolutely loves it. My 12 yr old daughter loves Steve Irwin so she even sits down and watches it. The singing is good and the dances are cute. My son particularly likes the Dingo Tango and dances it every time. I have since bought the Hoop-Dee-Doo video and he doesn't enjoy it nearly as much. He prefers to see the Wiggles dancing and singing rather than all the children wandering around. Captain Feathersword is funny in the Wiggles Safari but kind of annoying in the Hoop-Dee-Doo.
