Review: Beavers as you always wanted them! Up close and personal!
It is so great to be able to watch beavers up close and be able to observe them and their behavior.
They never seem bothered by the camera, and just go about their business in the clearest and cleanest, most beautiful water and natural surroundings you can imagine!
There is a part when the beavers are accosted by a bear, but are bothered by no one else, and no beavers or other animals are ever hurt.
It is striking how little narration this film has, or needs. The filmmakers let the beavers do the majority of the talking (and chewing!) for themselves.
Beavers is (and are) a true pleasure to watch!

Review: If you like nature videos, you'll love this one! I've got about 15 IMAX DVD's and this is my favourite one! I was amazed at how good the video quality is. Everything is very bright, crisp, and clear.
The DVD comes with extras, such as the making of this movie. The only down side to this IMAX movie is that it is very short. It's approximately 30 minutes long.

Review: In looking for the top rated IMAX DVDs to get for Christmas this one repeatedly came up as a five star just about everywhere I looked, and was never less than four stars. If you're an IMAX fan, outdoor/animal lover, or just want very high quality entertainment for your home, then you must consider adding this film to your collection. Its not just a kids film either, all of the adults in our family enjoy it just as much as the kids do.

Review: Ok..Let me guess...You could care less about these animals, right ? Being an IMAX film lover, (I have collected them all on DVD) - This was the final one I had to purchase. I was in for a surprize ! This is (by far) my FAVORITE Imax film. As simple as it is, it shows us a small family of beavers and what they do in the wilderness. BRILLIANT ! The camera work is astounding, the digital sound is supurb, and the film transfer is crystal clear. Trust me on this one....After viewing this film, you will want to own a pet beaver of your own. They are so adorable and easy to fall in love with ! A remarkable and VERY sweet IMAX presentation. Also, check out the MAKING OF 'BEAVERS' after viewing this: This is one of the best extras to be included in a SLINGSHOT release ! I can't say enough about how FANTASTIC this is ! Don't wait like I did....You won't be disappointed. Fun for the kids as well as adults.

Review: This film on beavers was very funny and cute. The quality of picture and sound was great. If you own any rodent pets (my wife and I own two chinchillas), this is a must-see DVD!
