Summary: The best series ever!!
Review: This has got to be the best series ever! You can never have enough of Back To the Future! All 3 are superb movies, and are fun for the whole family! I'm suprised that not too many people liked the 2nd one, because it was really good! The 1st one's still the best though, that I do agree! Summary: Back To the Future: Marty(Fox) gets sent back 30 years into the past! His only hope to get back to the future(1985) is Dr. Emmet L. Brown(Lloyd)! Back To the Future Part 2: Marty(Fox) and Dr. Brown(Lloyd) go to the year 2015 to fix a problem with their family. Marty spots a sports almanac from 1950-2000. He wants to take it back with him, but Dr. Brown stops him. But, Biff(Wilson), takes the book in the time machine, brings it back to himself when he was young, and tells himself to place bets. When Marty and the Doc. get back to 1985, they are in a alternate universe, they must go back to the time that young Biff got his hands on that book! A great sequel! Back To the Future Part 3: Marty finds Doc.'s grave and goes back to 1885 where the doc. is! He must bring him home, before Mad Dog Tannen(Wilson) kill him. Three great movies, to make the best sequel I've ever seen! I can never watch a sequel this many times and still enjoy as much as I do!

Summary: Who Needs Back to the Future 2 and 3?
Review: I'm glad Back to the Future is finally being released on DVD because it is a great 80's film, but hopefully they will release the films individually as well because the second film is bad and the third film is mediocre. I saw the sequels in the theater when I was a kid and was mostly disappointed. The key ingredient to the first film is Crispin Glover and his bizarre but likable performance, and his absence hurts the sequels greatly because eventually Christopher Lloyd's overacting just gets obnoxious and Michael J. Fox's stupid cuteness just gets ugly. I'd give the first film five stars, but the other two I'd give two stars, which means they don't hold up on their own and are not worth owning. I'm surprised most of the reviewers approve of the three films being released together.

Review: Back to the Future was my first ever favorite film, and it still is one of my all time favorites. And finally! After what seems like an eternity, The Back to the Future trilogy is coming to DVD! Back to the Future is one of the funniest films you'll ever see and the two sequels are two of the best sequels of any film series. You will definately not be dissapointed in buying this!

Summary: IT'S ABOUT TIME !! (LITERALLY)
Review: The stockings will be stuffed this year for sure! I just found out about the December release of the complete BTTF trilogy, and almost wish that I hadn't found out until November. It's gonna be a long wait, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. The best Sci-Fi adventure series of all time finally on DVD will be a wonderful Christmas present for fans of all ages. For those of us who were actually alive in the 1950's, the gags are extremely funny and imaginative. Examples: Marty asking for a Tab (tab) in the soda shop; Marty not being able to open a Coke bottle - this was before twist-off caps. Hilarious! This trilogy was Spielberg's funniest ever. I have the trilogy on VHS and watch the whole thing at least once per year. The tapes are deteriorating though and the sound drops out sometimes. What a pleasure it will be to see them in widescreen and with DTS sound. This release is probably a harbinger that the Indiana Jones trilogy is in the pipeline somewhere, but as great as it was, none compare to Back to the Future.

Review: I absolutely love these movies....I haven't understood why it took them so long to release to DVD. I went out and bought a laserdisc simply because they released the trilogy on LD......its well worth it!!

Summary: It may have the worst cover art of 2002, but...
Review: These movies are truly classics. I've been a big fan of them ever since I was a little kid (I've even been on the ride at Universal Studios!), and now have finally hit DVD, even if they have less-than-acceptable packaging. The first film, when you boil it down is really about "What would it be like if you could meet your parents when they were your age"? It's really a period film, and the creators perfectly re-creat the 1950's atmosphere. Part two is a really the oddball of the series. It's a much darker film, and it mostly about the conciquences of using timetravel carelessly. The plot might seem confusing to some people, so you'll probably need to see it two or three times to really figure it out. It has some interesting visual effects however, and it does have some very entertaining moments. Part three definately is every bit as good as part one. Once again, it's a period film, only this time it's all the way back in the wild west. The costumes, the sets, and the props are all very well done, and what you get is an entertaining western, with a very funny and well written story. The only problem with these movies after all these years is they're clearly dated. References to 80's pop culture, over-the-top predictions of the future, and of course music. However, if you can simply accept the fact that the movies take place in 1985, you have yourself a very fun trilogy that you should definately own.

Summary: Masters of Storytelling
Review: Steven Spielberg presents a masterful story told by Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis. The storytelling in these films are exact, precise, and truly makes sense in it's entirety. Nobody can beat the humurous acting of Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox. The visual effects are great and the vision of the future is really neat and very interesting. If you can't fall in love with this trilogy, the least you can do is have respect for the tremendous amount of effort that was put into the production designs, visuals, and most importantly the story, which may be one of the most complicated of all time. Alan Silvestri's music is heart-pounding w/ adventure, especially when he whips out the new western theme in the thrid installment. They give you chills of excitement and keep you on the edge of your seat. If you have never seen this entire trilogy, rent it, sit down, and watch the whole thing in one day and you will be loving it. Robert Zemeckis is a master, and you will see him pull it off in this one.

Summary: Can't this have six stars?!
Review: This will McFly off the shelves -- sorry 'bout that! The first of this trilogy is one of the few films I deem to be near perfect. But really all three are fantastic - bright, exciting, funny, and well written. Ok, it took ages for this to come to dvd, but in a way thank goodness -- it gave Bob Zemeckis a good long time to make the best box set possible. And, as we dvd collectors know, dvd transfers are far superior now to what they were originally. I await with bated breath to hear the Delorean kicking butt in 5.1 surround!! So take the phone off the hook for a weekend and indulge in BTTF!!!

Review: Back To The Future is indeed a classic. The 2 follow ups are about as bad as sequels can get. All three movies are not equally well-written here... the cast remains solid but the plot gets about as bad as Grease II or
Children Of The Corn part 5... so bad in fact... that they almost taint the original.
