Summary: It's open season on all suckheads!!
Review: That just about sum's it up. This movie is a ravers dream come true. The music was tight (New Oder-Expansion Union-etc.). Snipes is a f'n badass when it comes to the fight scenes. I mean you gotta love it when he get's his glasses back in the end. Add to all that some cool locals some fine women. Don't let me forget about Dorff who is one of the coolest actors on earth. These people that write about there being no plot> who cares, theres enough plot to keep you watching. Get this DVD- The deleted scenes were allright, the commentary is excellent almost the best i've heard yet. Stop reading this review and get out to your local video store and buy it!!!!!

Summary: This is one of the best reasons to get a DVD player.
Review: The quality of this movie is second to none. I looks and sounds great. Plus, the almost excessive amount of extras with it makes it even better. If you don't have it, get it. If you don't have a DVD player, get one then get this movie before any other moveis.

Summary: blood+gore+action and Wesley Snipes= F*#@'n great!!!!!
Review: All my life i've been a Vampire freak and somehow all of those other Vampire movies didn't make the grade. But then this excellent movie comes along and graces the screens of every cinema in the world. This movies is the best Vampire movie that has been released in the history of the HORROR genre. Wesley Snipes brings Blade to life in the best possible way. He has the attitude, looks and build for such a physical role such as this one. And the fact that he performed all his own stunts make it that more real in the action scenes, there aren't any look-a-like wannabes doing stunts for him. And at the end of the day this movie ROCKS!!! If you didn't see it in the cinema, watch the video. I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!! Five stars for you WESLEY

Summary: This is easily one of the best action flicks ever made
Review: This film brings back the classic sword fight scenes of the early Zorro's, and gunfights worthy of High Noon. Wesley Snipes has the ultimate vampire hunter thing going here. The sword fights are not anticipatory of where the strikes are going to be, as they are in most of these movies. While some parts of this film may be a little graphic, it shouldn't bother most viewers and the rest of the film makes up for it. This is a definite must see.

Summary: "Blade" - Great action flick for the DVD enthusiast!
Review: The mood in Blade is dark and dire, and the DVD format is able to communicate this with more emphasis than any other format, short of the theater. Loaded with action, Blade brings the fun of the Comic Book home, but, again, in a much darker way. Wesley Snipes is excellent in the title role - many complain of the "poor" acting. But, the attitude and tone for this character are right on. Snipes plays Blade as a reserved, cynical character who appears to be on the edge - constantly. And, rightly, he is. The other leads in the film are excellent, except for Stephen Dorff - he's outright fantastic as the evil Deacon Frost. His attitude and on-screen presence rival even Snipes for the 'Lead' in this film. But, if you enjoy the 'gothic' vampire tales, this one is probably not for you. These are the vampires of the 1990's, and they are not romantic in the genre of "Dracula". They are brutal and horrific. These are the 'gangs' of the night, if you will. The transitition from big screen to DVD leaves little to be desired. The format allows a complete transition, and with the right equipment - a truly awe inspiring experience. The action, explosions, fight scenes, and the imaginative cinematography culminate into a package of total eye and ear candy. Dolby AC-3 (and to a lesser degree) Dolby Surround will please you with seperation of sounds, full use of all 6 (if you have them!) speakers. And, the bass in this film gets a true workout! Be prepared! Though, this one is not for the kids or the squeamish - extremely graphic, strong language - it is a wonderful movie to enjoy. Sit back, pop some pocorn, grab a beverage, turn it up to 11, and enjoy! Oh, and take the time to review (before or after - makes no difference) the added extras. Along with the feature film is some cool material like an alternate ending, the introduction to the Houses of Erebus, Designing Blade, the Origins of Vampires, Theatrical Trailer, etc. Plus, two seperate commentary tracks to enjoy. Two VERY interesting perspectives on the film. Bottom line: This movie and DVD ROCKS!

Summary: Loved It!!!!!!!!
Review: I have recently become very familiar with the whole "vampire" persona and this film was AWESOME!! The gore was a little hard to stomach at first but it was necessary to get the whole vampire world understood. Snipes was very sexy and believable. I've already rented this movie twice and I wish I had of gotten a chance to see it at the theatre. I think I would have enjoyed it that much more. The techno feel of this film also helped to bring the entire age we live in alive. I am a little disappointed with the soundtrack though.

Summary: Great comic book adaptation, tons of extras on the DVD
Review: Blade is what everyone hopes to see when they pay good money for a comic book action movie. The story is proposterous, the effects are cheesy, but Blade kicks some serious butt. It's like the first Batman meets Bruce Lee. The movie only slows down for a couple of minutes here and there, otherwise it's action packed. I can honestly say that this is the first super-hero that I've really enjoyed, with the exception of THE CROW.

Summary: Best I've Seen In A Long Time
Review: When I rented the movie Blade, I had no idea what I was up against. When the movie had come to it's early end, I felt as though I had to go out and buy it. I reccommend this video to any viewer of any age.

Summary: The worst Wesley Snipes movie ever!
Review: The plot is the worst that I have seen in a long time! The special effects are not very good. I think I could have done better. The dialogue is the worst that it could be.
