Summary: Geez, this isn't the best movie ever made. However¿
Review: Blade II is a successful sequel, being that it expands from the orginal movie's premise and made it better. However, the only thing I found annoying about the movie was how weak the "king" of all vampires was. But the reapers posing as crack addicts were pretty interesting. Overall this was a very entertaining romp. You gotta love your comic book action movies once in awhile.

Summary: Blade II
Review: This movie is heck of a lot better then the first movie. The only prob though for me is that it gave me a headache with too much action , not enough dialogue. With me being a huge vampire fanatic this movie was rather dissappointing but i'd still watch it again. I didnt like the first Blade the first time i saw it so maybe if i see this one again my opinion will change.

Summary: better than the first
Review: BLADE 1 Was a great film and this is even better.
The fighting is better with the effects used and the main bad guy is better as well, the only down fall of this film is the way the new breed open their mouths like their monsters, but apart from that Snipes is Great, not to much gore but a lot of blood but deffinatly a quality film

Summary: Fun movie!!
Review: The first Blade movie was really great, and had good special effects and action and techno and vampire horror and all that good stuff. Well, Blade II, in my opinion, was pretty much the same thing, except more so. More vampires, including new face-eating reapers, more guns, more fights, more horror, more suspense, more action and last but not least, more techno. Awesome movie, so see it if you love Science Fiction of any type.

P.S. Blade II also had a very sexy ending, in my opinion.

Summary: Perfect warm-up for the Spider-Man movie
Review: Successful comic book to film adaptations are, if not rare, not as common as in the case of this film, and others such as X Men. For every Superman: The Movie (superb), there is a Batman and Robin (hugely disappointing), which makes the success of Blade 2 all the more pleasing. Success in terms of its box-office performance and also the content of the movie itself. It exudes a sense of cool: a comic book come to life, with an iconic lead character, played with suitable style and grace by Wesley Snipes. This film plays to its audience by guaranteeing fun and excitement and not overly concerning itself with any prententions towards great art. It's popcorn. It's a Saturday night out movie. You will feel better for having seen it. It is also the type of film that will never win an Oscar, but in terms of selling tickets and giving its audience a fun ride, it beats most of the competition hands down. If you enjoyed the film, check out the monthly comic from Marvel, which is aimed at an adult/mature audience and maintains the high standard of the hit movie.

Summary: Blade is back and he's BAD!
Review: For those who liked the first movie, Blade 2 is twice as good as Blade was. The fight coreography is better, the bad guys are much more fierce and ferocious, and there are a lot more interresting characters. These include the "Blood Pack," which is an elite team of vampires who team up with Blade. Each one of them is an intruiging and interresting character.

Something also has to be said about Snipes, and how he "buffed up" for this film. Not only are his biceps bigger but his martial arts moves are looking much more polished and refined.

What's more is there are a LOT of fighting scenes, including martial arts, guns, and other cool weapons. One of the vampires fights with a hammer with a big spike on one end.

The action and excitement are non-stop. I found it difficult to find a lull in the movie where I could go to the bathroom! Get a small drink for this one!

Summary: WAY BETTER VILLAIN THAN THE 1st
Review: the 1st blade movie was kinda pathetic. The main villain was a real [wimp] and 12 of the most powerful vampires were all wiped out by some black guy in a trenchcoat. I mean, at least in this one Blade gets injured and has a tuff time defeating the villain. the skinhead's makeup was pretty cool and it was awsome how there mouths parted. Blade 2 is by far way better than the orginal!

Summary: Loud, fun and action packed
Review: Blade 2 brings Wesley Snipes back to join forces with vampires to battle a new deadly enemy. The result is a surprisingly good sequel. Guillermo del Toro (who directied Mimic), is one gifted director, he made me feel like I was actually watching a comic book unfold before my eyes. The visuals are fantastic as are the quick camera movements and like his choice of locations. This is one fun movie, can't believe one critic (Leanoard Malton) actually called it boring. You got battles on rooftops, sewers and plenty of other places. The only thing the film lacks is a brain, it has a quick pace but so quick that it sort of jumps from one thing to another without really explaining why he goeing here or there. Plus like Richard Roeper said there's no vampire history which is sort of a dumb comment (lol) because this film isn't really about the vampires it's about the reapers. Plus when you think about it Blade just isn't about vampire history in the first place. It's a about a half human/half vampire, vampire hunter ...nothing more, it's not about the immortals, it's about killing them, lol. If you want Vampire history watch Interview with the Vampire. If want an action packed, pure comic book movie then Blade 2 is for you.

Summary: Blood, Guts, Comedy, and Great fun.
Review: If you are a fan of the First Blade, and are looking for a faster harder hitting sequal look no further. I found this movie to be a truely fun Vampire movie. Sure I didn't find is as fulfilling and pleasing as the first, but it did it's job. I've enjoyed the past films by Del Torro, and this one fallows true to form. Most of the scenes are in dark somewhat closed areas to make you feel cramped. Mimic is a great example of that look and feel.
I did not find the script as engaging as the first but the style of Blade's kick everyone's bootie] and walk away cool and calm makes up for it. But again it's all a taste in artistry. Some of us liked Blade II ...and others like movies with fast past cross cuts about singing and dancing hookers in the top brothel at the turn of the century.
