Summary: no movie could possibly compare to the novel
Review: I have read the Marquis' novel Justine, and can assure you that no film could be true to the novel without being far longer than 93 minutes, and containing countless scenes which would be illegal to film in the majority of countries, as Justine herself is only 12 at the beginning of the story, and under the age of 18 for almost half, and she is only one of numerous minors depicted in the story.
