Review: A well written story of murder, ghosts and small towns. This movie didn't much attention upon release that remember, but my family watched it when it hit HBO or Showtime. We all loved it and quickly found a VHS copy to own. Upon seeing it released on DVD I snatched up a copy. The picture and sound are nicely restored. The extra scenes on the DVD are not neccesary, but are nice to see. Certainly worth the pickup.

Summary: Great ghost story/murder mystery.
Review: A young boy witnesses the ghostly reinactment of a murder then has a run-in with the murderer who almost kills him as well. His near-death experience seems to link him to the murder victim (a young girl) who asks him to help her find her mother. As the story unfolds there are lots of little twists and turns before everything comes together at the end. There is suspense & mystery mixed in with everyday events. It is surprisingly well done. The only complaint I have is that there are parts of this film that are over the top but, overall, this is a well-done mystery/ghost story.

Review: As a young girl, I loved this movie! I am a sucker for ghost stories and this one takes the cake. If I recall correctly, it is set in the 50's. Loved the small town feel and the music eerily stands out in my memory. Ending takes a surprising twist. Definate must see for all of you who ever even slightly believed in ghosts, especially as a child.

Review: Definitely a labor of artistic intuition as opposed to the slick blockbuster media hype which one finds so prevelant today. in my opinion the writing works on several different levels which makes it unique in that it's quality can be appreciated by general audiences,which is and should be the goal of any good artist-arrange a unique piece of work all can benefit from.

Summary: A Gem
Review: Every once and a while you find a little film that never got much mention and you fall in love with it. This is one of those films. There is a great sense of nostelgia in this film which adds to its charm. Writer/Director LaLoggia put a lot of his heart into this very personal film. This turned out to be his masterpiece and it was a shame he did not stay in the film business with his talent (he made only 3 or 4 films total in his career, this was his second film). Here is a great mix of drama, suspence, mystery, and horror. It's kind of a ghost story and kind of a coming of age story. Looking at it now years after first seeing I still get a tear in the eye and lump in the throat, and I still get exhilerated by a couple classic horror scenes. Do youself a favour and see this film
