Summary: Billy Boyd is bright spot in otherwise dull thriller...
Review: Billy Boyd once said that he prefers character roles to lead roles because he gets to steal scenes from actors like Ian McKellen and Russell Crowe. In "Urban Ghost Story" he doesn't get much screen time, but he does the most with what he's given. I loved seeing him in such a different role from Pippin. As the loan shark's son, he's thoroughly and brilliantly unpleasant and unlikeable. I hope he's offered more roles like this that show his range as an actor.

Review: If your looking into getting this movie because you are a devout Billy Boyd fan....BE WARNED: this is a different kind of Billy character. He plays the son of a loan shark and there is bad language involved. Not his most lovable part. He's also not on the screen as much as a true Billy Boyd fan would like.

On the positive side, this is an interesting movie with a interestingly scary plot and good acting. I would recommend it to anyone, who likes a good scary story.
