Rating: Summary: It's boring movie. Review: It's boring movie i ever seen
Rating: Summary: The sound is great for a B movie. Review: I bought it for the DTS sound and was not disappointed. The story is classic B movie which is not a complaint. The title of the story is not applied as you would think and you'll have to see it to see how the title is used. Jamie Lee avoids her cliched scream queen title, the effects are stylish, Sutherland is at his slimy best, and character development, though thin, is easy on the ears (check out the cut scenes to hear how bad it could have been). The ending is satisfying without being too cliched. I'm glad I own it.
Rating: Summary: My God! How did they do this? Review: Take bunch of good actors, a smart idea for a film and good special effects - it takes talent to create a really BAD movie with these ingredients!! John Bruno is a great special effects supervisor but he CANNOT DIRECT!!! Now the only thing we must pray for is not to make a sequel!
Rating: Summary: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME&MONEY!!! Review: The film is boring. The thema is a well known one and there is nothing to suprize you.
Rating: Summary: A big disapointment Review: If you're expecting suspension or to get scared, don't waste your time with this movie. The title Virus makes no sense according to the story line. The 'half-machine, half-human' will only make you lose your appetite for a couple of days. This movie seems to me like an imitation of John Carpenter's "The Thing" which I enjoyed very much. At the end of the movie, you'd still sit there...waiting for something else to happen...
Rating: Summary: Save your money! Review: Aliens meet the Borg. Deadful, just dreadful. Sutherland "phones it in" Oh yea, it "sounds" good.
Rating: Summary: PANTS!!! Review: This film is a bigger set of pants than Fat Bastards from Austin Powers!! To think Gale Ann Hurd produced Aliens...
Rating: Summary: Worst movie ever? Review: Is this the worst movie ever? From the awful acting to the amateur script to the oblivious direction - this is a bad movie. It could have been much more, it was interesting for the first ten minutes or so, then it took a nosedive. Too bad. If you enjoy bad acting, buy the disc to savor Jamie Lee Curtis' awful performance.
Rating: Summary: If you have nothing better to do, then watch this.... Review: Now don't get me wrong I like Science Fiction/Action movies as much if not more than the next guy and stick up for movies even if everybody hated it....but.....I can't say that I will do the same for this movie. Although I believe the intentions started off well for this movie, I can't help but feel that the script may have only been a short story and they decided to make a major motion picture out of it, in short this movie was stretched out from what could have lasted 15 minutes to an hour and a half, I kept waiting for the big ending. The acting was mediocre but the special effects and sound are the only thing that even remotely saves the movie but in retrospect it would have better served its purpose if I left it sitting on the shelf to take up space. I wonder how many studio execs are nawing off the ends of their fingers right now hoping to recoup some cash. To tell you how bad it is, the special effects people in the bonus materials are talking MORE about prior movies they have done than this movie!! It was better than one movie though---Fear and loathing in las vegas.
Rating: Summary: The critics are wrong Review: BOY WERE THE CRITICS WRONG. THIS MOVIE MAKES YOU JUMP OUT OF YOUR SEAT . THE ACTORS DONT SAY MUCH,THE VISUAL EFFECTS ARE AMAZING. SO GET THE CRITICS OUT OF YOUR MIND AND SEE THIS MOVIE.
