Review: I thought the movie was acutally pretty good. It's nothing like The exorcist or anything, but it wasn't as bad as some people are making it out to be. The plot of the movie makes sense, and the graphics aren't terrible. Some parts are kinda creepy, but that makes the movie. I think the idea of people dying from their own worst fears is cool. The little girl that is a hemophiliac is the scariest part of the movie. It's like she's one of satans angels and the 4 people who die from their worst fears and they see her periodically in the 48 hours that they are alive.

Review: The movie itself had a decent storyline. And some of the effects were horrible. The movie would have done alot better if release as is about 5 to 10 years ago.

Summary: Fear Dot not good
Review: First of all the producers of this movie more than obviously watched the Japanese Ringu before writing this screenplay. I went into watching this movie knowing nothing about it and 30 minutes knew how it was going to end. The only good thing about this movie is the cinematography for which it earned one star from me.

Review: This movie is so [bad]. First off a somewhat cool idea on the internet being a theme in a horror movie ,but awful execution. This movie is slow paced and downright boring. The movie reminds of One Hour Photo meets Strangeland(yes its that bad)Terrible acting except the woman forensic does ok. Finally this movie has the worst ending in history,and the villian is as dumb as dr. giggles. Furthermore if you think this will shock with gore or anything,it won't its as tame as watching CSI or ER. AVOID THIS DVD,YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED(if you don't trust my judgement just look at all the other negative reviews posted)

Summary: Fear didn't come...
Review: Nothing in the horror genre of movies these days can scare anyone anymore. Don't expect Fear dot com to be the exception. I kept hoping for Fred Krueger to pop out of the dark corners and corridors to liven the action or story somewhat...What's disturbing is the b rated acting style and poorly written dialogue of Fear dot com. What is it with pulling dead bodies out of water (The Ring)only to discover that the corpses want something else other than a nice burial and a moving eulogy ?!...Death by computer/internet is not an original idea either...The plot (if you can call it that) involves two investigators trying to solve the mysterious deaths of four people after visiting a website. What is the connection between the fear.com website and the people who die after entering it ? In addition, the [person] who runs the site is a demented murderous fiend known as The Doctor who "can't feel anything"--void of emotions like the acting...He tortures his victims and murders them live on the web. The two detectives must also find him before time runs out... Save your dinero and skip it !

Summary: stupid, stupid, stupid
Review: if you want to watch this, rent it, don't buy it. not scary AT ALL- if anything, the parts that were supposed to be scary were at best boring, at worst laughable. it's hard to develop any sort of emotion for the characters at all. it's a shoddy [copy] of ringu/the ring- go buy one of those if you want to see a good movie.

Summary: Watching this is a waste of time
Review: This movie is so boring and so stupid. You log onto a website and have 48 hours to live, then you die of your depest fear. That's because a hemopheliac was tortured and bled to death by 'the Doctor'. Yeah yeah yeah. The scenes that were supposed to be scary were not, half the movie made no sense, and the movie's "big finish" was a real anti-climatic let down. I will never watch this again, and I wish I had the two bucks back that I spent to rent it. Horrible, awful movie.

Summary: Fear dot com? How about fear of watching this again!
Review: This flick makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! There seems to be three plots going on at the same time but none of them are ever carried to fruition- instead you are just left hanging and wondering. What I deem to be the main plotline has no real foundation to set itself upon, it just seems to be discovered halfway along. The sequence of becoming "involved" with this website lacks credibility, even in the wildest imagination and the seductiveness and sexual innuendo surrounding it goes nowhere.
I am not sure that a pre-quel or a sequel could help clear any of these shortcomings up, I hope not because if such a film is released again it should be relegated to B movie theaters in some third world country far away from us. Semper Fi and God Bless Our Country!
