Review: This movie was clearly conceived while heavily medicated. The story was silly at best, only out done by the acting and costume choices.OK.. so we know story is not key to a rock-n-roll dream killer, B-movie. It is the gore, suspense, and lovely ladies. So how did it do on these fronts? For gore, the movie did OK. It is part of the driller killer series, so most of the action takes place as the rotating spear comes crashing through people's chests. Suspense... come on... he is a rock-n-roll guy with a drill on his guitar. The ladies... While they are certainly mostly cute, I don't think it was quite enough to make the movie a repeat watch.

Summary: Unfortunate
Review: Well, I personally liked the first film "Slumber party massacre" quite a bit! I collect slasher films in general. Now, there are good slashers and bad ones. This one falls into the "bad" section. It fails miserably as a slasher but it does ok as a cheeseball dark comedy. You dont laugh like you would at a regular comedy. Its dark humor. A killer Elvis wannabe? Thats both sad and funny. Its not a bad film. Yeah yeah Im a fan of Crystal Bernard and she looks pretty good here but the film itself is a mish mash of dream sequences melded with 80s shlocky slasher bits. NOw, its quite corny but if you con't like corny, goofy slasher films this isn't for you. But if you like cornball slashers that try to be funny with "visual" stuff youll love this. I find it unfortunate that this sequel didnt feature more to it along the lines of the first film but it has a different director and a different cast. I do look at it as "dark BAD comedy" so in that way its quite funny and weird all in one package.
