Summary: slumber party bomb
Review: This sequel to slumber party goes way down hill from the first film. There is continuation of the story however. Courtney (the little sister from the first part) is now in high school. Her sister Valerie, after escaping alive her experience with the serial killer years before, is now in a mental instituion.
Courtney, who in the first film is a young adolescent girl who wants to crash the slumber pary and enjoys looking at playgirl magazine, is now a more grown up and sophisticated girl, however plagued by horrible and constant nightmares. Her and her rockband friends go away for the weekend to a new condo of one of the girls parents.
There is not a lot of action for most of the film, and later you see the killer, who has come to life from Courtney's dreams, singing and dancing Rock n' Roll and smoking cigarrettes as he kills with his guitar/drill. The movie has a surprise ending which will probably disappoint more than anything else,

Summary: Yawn!
Review: Bad horror movies have a certain charm all their own, as do T&A movies (the two commonly go hand-in-hand). Either way, you won't find what you're looking for here. This film doesn't manage to pull off that magic 'cheese factor' that can make a bad horror movie good, and just ends up falling flat. I'll give it an extra star for a few clever bits, and Crystal Bernard fans might get a kick out of seeing her in an EARLY role, but that's about it.

Summary: Hilarious!
Review: I generally like the slumber party massacre films, but this was a major let down. First and fore most, the acting was horrible, which basically ruined the movie...Second, the plot was stupid, as the killer wielded a gutiar with a drill on the end, and the fact that there is no point to the killer coming after these people, considering the fact that there is little, if any character building...Third, the special fx could have been done by a pre-schooler and looked better...Fourth, what the hell is it with the constant play on dream and reality, it is just so stupid...Fifth, there are so many plot holes that i should be careful where i step. Finally, this movie should been burned and i would have given it a lower rating but one star is the minimum rating

Summary: an ode to Dr. Caligari
Review: I have to admit when I first saw this movie back in high school I hated it, but it grew on me after repeated viewings and have to say it's now one of my favorites. The cast is fun, the gore is ultra gooey and thought the story doesn't adhere much to reality, it does lend itself to being warped along the lines of Dr. Caligari... is this all real, or just Courtney's illusion? I also enjoyed it being a true sequel, picking up with the same characters from Part 1. It's cheesy, but fun and even has a couple good thrills throughout.

Summary: A Good Sequel
Review: I love this movie the way it combines dream sequences like the ones they used in Nightmare on Elm Street with your tipical slasher movie. The songs in this film were great I expecially like the one the Driller Killer sings right before he kills a female victim. Crystal Bernard of the tv show Wings should be put into the scream queen hall of fame, because she scream's alot and does it very well. Ok the story fallows the only simi sane survivor for the fist film Courtney (Bernard) while she and her rock band friends go away for a slumber party weekend at a house in a area they are still developing. After getting there some boys show and and stay with them. But Courtney keeps having nightmares that a killer with a large drill on the end of his guttar is after her sister and her. The dreams tell her not to do a certin act because if she does he will comeout of the dreams and into reality. Well you can baicly figure out what happens next. If you love slasher movies and want to see half nude women this is them movie for you.

Summary: You Have Got To Be Kidding......
Review: I once heard that even the worst movies get sequels. Never was that so evident as in this moronic, stupid, dumb, insepid, hidious excuse for a movie. I asked in the review of the first one 'why was this movie made?' and as good of a question as that was it is even more needed here. The story is more like Nightmare On Elm Street than horror/slasher and one of the survivors from the first film Courtney Bates (PLayed by a young and pre-Wings Crystal Bernard) dreams about The Driller Killer
and when her and some bearly clothed friends go to a cabin for vacation The Driller Killer leaps from her dreams and into reality for a little mayhem. Now lets forget the fact that this is a sequel and focus on the movie. It's really dumb. The fact that it is a sequel of an even worse film just makes it that more painful to watch. The one thing I will give this film is that I never thought that they wanted to take themselves to seriously. If they did then they would have some explaining to do about the musical number "Lets Buzzzzzz". However even if it was taken simply for camp it failed there as well. The killer is dressed like a fifty's rocker and his drill is pratruding out of the end of a guitar. The cover artwork is just the drill in the movie. After watching this movie you may feel dumber. Don't worry, just remember that you are not the one who made this film, and the ones who did shoud hide in shame. Much like the first one if you are looking for a movie to laugh at at a party than you may want to rent both of these films. But be warned watching these movies back to back may actually lower your IQ.....

Summary: It's Crap -- And I Love It!
Review: I orginally discovered this classic in the very back of the horror section of my local video store. Truth be told, it was only one video casette away from being in the porn section. Because it looked delightfully bad, and had about an inch of dust on the cover, I decided to give it a rent.
I watched it with another bad movie fanatic, and this fit the description of the perfect movie with no problems. Maybe it was the fact that I hadn't seen the first movie, or the fact that the writers were severely mentally handicapped, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out why the ghost of a 50's rock star (wearing mismatched leather no less) would want to kill a group of topless teenage girls with a giant drill somehow connected to an electric guitar.
Another favourite scene of mine involves death by acne. One of the central characters is actually engulfed by a rapid growing zit, until it pops all over the protagonist and she is presumed dead - that is until she walks through the front door about 10 minutes later. This, of course, set up the perfect reason for the police to ignore the phone calls of the teens when they were ACTUALLY being killed by a psychotic ghost, they just couldn't be fooled into believing a story like that AGAIN.
This movie never seems to loose it's lack-luster charm, and I have actually rented it several times since the innitial discovery, Every time I watch it, I discover a new layer of cheese that I can make jokes about to no end. For instance, the premis of the weekend is for the all female 80s punk band to practise for a big show, and everytime they pick up a guitar, it sinks into psudo music video shots of them rocking it out, and them playing in the pool, and them having their three millions topless pillow fight of the evening, and then when the song is over, they're right back to where they were at the beginning with their untouched instruments in front of them.
Forgive me for using the title of this review as a summary to review it, but this movie is most definately total crap, but I LOVE IT! This ranks right up there with the ultimate cliche movies of the eighties, such as Little Darlings. I have to say, I'm surprised this series doesn't have as much of a cult following as it should. If this were created and released intentionally, it would be reveared as a masterpeice, but because it wasn't, I have to say that it belongs on the very back shelf where I found it.
