Review: Chucky returns in this sequel to part 1.This one is better than part 1 and 3.the plot is better and Chucky turns more villianous than part 1.Andy lives with foster parents who are nice but strict and also a female rebel named Kyle lives their.so Chucky wants to put his soul into Andy but Andy has to save himself.the music score by Graeme Revell{Idle Hands,Bride of Chucky} is eerie and the best score.and John Lafia that made Blue Iguana makes a suberb sequel.the gore in the movie is a lot and even more violent than part 1.the best horror-comedy.Rated R for Graphic Violence and Gore and Language.

Review: I like it.This is better than part 1.This time,Chucky is more alive,you know...In part 1,he was so dead.we will not see much scenes of him killing....BUT,in part 2,he seem to be much more daring to show his true self to anyone he sees...I just do not know how to say it,i just love it...If you have not watched it,buy it at once...It is worth 100 times the price of part 1.

Summary: Sorry Jack, Chucky's Back!!!
Review: The second of the CHILD'S PLAY films holds up the true spirit of the first, which is the blending of the SLASHER and SUPERNATURAL HORROR sub-genres. This time, Chucky's re-emergence might be a bit more implausible than it should, but who cares? CHILD'S PLAY 2 focuses on Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent), who was branded the culprit of the murders in the first film, despite the fact that there were a number of adults who witnessed the doll's rampage as well. Andy's mother is being given a psychological evaluation for believing her son's story. Andy has landed himself in a foster home with the Simpsons, who have no tolerance for Andy's antics. Also in the home is Kyle (Chritine Elise), whose sort of a rebel. Meanwhile, the Chucky doll is being reconstructed by the "Good Guy" company who want to shake off the skepticism of the press. The reconstruction, of course, revives Chucky, whose still determined to hop out of the doll, into little Andy's body. He heads for the Simpsons home, and gets ready to do his stuff. Soon, Kyle too realizes Chucky is alive, and she and Andy join to stop the doll. This is one sequel that is up there with the predecessor. Chucky is the villian, but the way the adults treat Andy and Kyle actually makes many of them deserve what they get. In particular, there's one scene where a teacher humiliates Andy in front of his entire class and forces him to stay after for detention. She get's her's when the doll shows up. There's also a social worker who scoffs at the idea of the idea of the story being true, and treats Andy and Kyle unfairly. She, too, gets hers. But by far, the best part of the movie has to be the finale, in the "Good Guy" toy factory, where Chucky must capture Andy to swap their souls, and Andy and Kyle must maneuver through all the manufacturing equipment. One factory worker winds up with plastic eyeballs, through a bizarre accident too weird to describe in writing. CHILD'S PLAY 2 may have more gore than the first CHUCKY flick, but then, isn't it supposed to. According to Rany in SCREAM 2, the rules of a sequel are: 1.)The body count is higher.
2.)The death scenes are much more elaborate.
3.)Never assume the killer is dead. CHILD'S PLAY 2 follows those rules to make a pretty well done sequel, but it still doesn't turn into just another SLASHER flick. Much like the original CHILD'S PLAY, it has some brains to go with it's horror.

Summary: Probably the best in the series
Review: Okay, so it's hard for adults to be scared of a 2 foot doll. But for children, this concept is truly horrifying. Growing up, I was surrounded with dolls (like Cabbage Patch) that resembled Chucky in some way. The thought that one of these dolls could come to life and steal your body could scare any child. So, I still am freaked out to some extent by this movie. There's a great deal of shock moments, where Chucky just pops out of nowhere. Brad Doriff does a great job voicing Chucky, he's had some great roles, including his antagonist role in Blade. I found this movie to be very entertaining. I first saw this when I was about 8, so this movie brings back memories of one of the first horror movies I'd ever seen.

Summary: G. Mike's Review of Child's Play 2
Review: Child's Play 2 (1990) was a great movie that was underrated. At least, that was what I think. It had many great moments and I thought was better than the first, and the greatest out of all the Chucky movies. From the creepy beginning to it's amazing finale, Child's Play 2 gives us a gory, horrific, and sometimes, dark comedy. Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) survived Chucky's last rampage by burning the demonic toy, then letting his Mom shoot Chucky down. His Mom has gone to a mental institution because of Chucky. Andy is left all alone and is picked up by two foster parents and their rebel daughter. Back at the Good Guys Factory, the greedy owner wants to remake Chucky to show to the public that he is not a killer. (What an idiot!) Anyway, something awry happens when they are making Chucky and an employee gets killed. The owner gives the doll to his assistant who tries to drive it home with him. Chucky comes back to life and suffocates the man. Then Chucky finds Andy's house and follows him the rest of the movie. Plot - The plot was really good. I didn't really like the plot of Bride of Chucky or the first Chucky film. I only really like Parts 2 and 3. Yet, this one stands out. Plot - 95 Acting - The acting is pretty good. Alex Vincent does a good job as the traumatized Andy. The rebel foster daughter is really good, too. The only person who I hated was the teacher. Some reviewer said this before also. She humiliates the kids and makes fun of them. Well, who cares? Chucky kills her 5 minutes later. Acting - 89 Killings and Gore - The killings in this movie are pretty good. Some are very original. Others are just your usual (stabbed, impaled, neck broken). There is a lot of gore in this movie though. Anyone who likes gore should probably check this out. Killings - 93/BEST KILLING - either the teacher getting hit with the 1 meter ruler (hahahaha!) or the attendant getting his eyes impaled by the machine eyes Gore - 95 Ending - As I said, this was a great ending. No Chucky movie came close to what this ending was. It was great! Chucky's hand get's sliced off. So he takes his knife and jams it into his stubby arm. He looked awesome. He walked around with a knife for a hand. His death in this one is also the coolest. It actually took our two main stars awhile to kill Chucky. Yet, finally, they blow him up with hot glue. COOL! Ending - 98 Overall - I loved this movie! It was really good and never really got boring. The ending is the best ending in awhile and always will be. The killings were pretty good and the atmosphere of the movie set the tone. Great movie! Overall - 94/A Rated R for strong violence/gore, and pervasive language G. Mike

Review: This sequel is memorable with a excellent ending,this time Chucky is brought to life and kills to find the kid who killed Chucky in part 1 and when the kid is in a foster family,carnage and gore abound the screen.excellent sequel has awesome special effects and funnier Chucky wisecracks to keep viewers to laugh and scream.

Summary: Child's Play 2 hilarious violent fun
Review: This movie is better than the first in a sense. The first film does have a better story and plot. However, Child's Play 2 conjures up more violence and Chucky seems to have a more abusive language. The violence is pretty good in this picture and I think some of it has been done well. I highly recommend this movie if you're looking for a fun, horror picture.

Review: Especially when it comes to Horror movies I never expect much from their sequels, but Chucky's first return really deserves a positive review; especially the ending is very exciting, when they are trying to kill Chucky in the factory. The only negative Aspect is the increasing number of killings. In the first part Chucky used to kill only the persons that really annoyed him. Now kills almost every persons he meets. Conclusion: Buy it!

Summary: Basically a Remake of the Original with a Bigger Budget.
Review: After Chucky (Voiced by Brad Dourif) dies in the body of the doll, where he's trying to get out to transfer his soul to the boy (Andy Vincent). When the good-guy doll company actually redid the doll with the same body and actually bringing the doll back alive and now Chucky is stalking the boy and he will never stop until he has his body to live in forever. Directed by John Lafia (Man's Best Friend) made a sometimes clever dark (at times gory) comedy thriller. This has some good memorable moments in this. With better puppeteer effects by Kevin Yagher and a good music score by Graeme Revell (The Crow, Titan A.E.). This is also a Box Office Hit that almost did the same numbers as the Original. The true highlight of this Sequel is actually the last fifteen minutes in the Doll Factory has the real moments in this one. Some might like this Better than the Original, well, it's actually nearly the same as the Original. Grade:B+.
