Summary: HALLOWEEN H20, A GOOD BUT BADLY MADE-UP SEQUEL ToHALLOWEEN 1
Review: HALLOWEEN H20 IS COOL, SCARY, AND WELL-ACTED, BUT 2 OR 3 THINGS BUGGED ME. FIRST OF ALL,HOW COME LAURIE STRODE(CURTIS) NEVER SPOKE ABOUT HER DAUTER WHO WAS KILLED, AND HOW COME SHE NEVER TOLD HER SON HE HAS A SISTER? AND HOW COME THE KILLER IS NOT ALL STRONG AND BUFF AND TALL LIKE IN PART 4,5,AND 6? ITS LIKE THE MAKERS NEVER WATCHED NUMBERS 3-6, WHICH PISSES ME OFF. THIS MOVIE COULD HAVE BEEN 150 TIMES BETTER IF THEY WOULD HAVE WATCHED THE SEQUELS. BUT, THE MOVIE WAS A LITTLE SCARY, BUT WHILE I WAS WATCHING IT, I DIDNT FEEL CREEPED OUT, YOU KNOW, THAT (THERE HE IS)THING,HE JUST LOOKED LIKE AN ACTOR, NOT LIKE A KILLER. HE BENT DOWN AND MOVED FAST AND DID ALOT OF THINGS MICHAEL WOULD NEVER DO. OTHER THEN THE STUPID GUY WHO PLAYED MICHAEL, WITH NO EXPERIENCE,AND LAURIE STRODE WHO NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT HER OWN DAUGHTER,ITS NOT BAD. IF YOU ONLY SAW HALLOWEEN I AND 2 OR JUST 1, YOULL LOVE IT,I SAW THEM ALL. THE MOVIE WAS GOOD THOUGH, I LIKED IT, ITS JUST THAT IT WAS NOT AS PERFECT AS 1-6.

Summary: A great addition to the series, a finale.....or not?
Review: ...

I remember I went to the theater the very first day this came out and I remember how excited and thrilled I was with the opening sequence right up to the death of Marion (a familiar character to fans of 1 & 2). As the film progressed, I noticed that they completely ignored the story that was created with parts 4-6, which is the one thing about this movie that still annoys me to this day. I just think that once you start something, you should finish it, and now it is hard to watch this series as a whole, rather than 2 separate trilogies (1,2 + H20 and 4,5,6) and another movie which doesn't have anything to do with these movies at all. But, putting that aside, Halloween H20 is a very hi-quality, enjoyable film.

Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her role as the undisputed champion character of the series. Michael Myers is as brutal as ever while still remaining remotely human. My gripe about Michael in this one is his mask. I really don't understand why the eyeholes were so big! You could not only see his eyes, but his eyebrows and part of his forehead. It was a little ridiculous, considering that the whole thing with Michael Myers is that he has the "blackest eyes," but with this one he had the greenest eyes if you know what I mean.

The story is pretty much Laurie Strode fakes her death and changes her name to Keri Tate, where she is the head of a very prestigious, secluded private school and where she raises her son, John (Josh Hartnett). Living in fear that her brother (Michael, who is presumed dead after pt. 2) is still alive and will find her, her problems weight down her son and stress her realtionship with the school's guidance councelor, Will (Adam Arkin). The plot is extremely well written compared to the previous flicks, Laurie/Keri goes through so many emotional lows that by the time little Mikey catches up with her, it is now or never. Hallowen H20 is packed full of clever references to previous slasher flicks and the kind of charm that newer films are lacking. A Halloween 8 is currently in production and rumor has it that Michael Myers is still alive, and it wasn't him who Laurie killed in H20...

Summary: A little better but...
Review: this film tries to recapture the spirit of the 1st two but by doing this basically disregards h3-6. So much for continuality. This should have been the end but they just had to make pt8 which makes H20's ending look stupid. H8 has no chance of being good

Summary: only one word needed to explain this movie
Review: Lacking! I would recommend that if someone really wanted to buy this movie off this site, buy it new because it costs more to buy it used for some reason. now I would like to explain a few things. first off if I had a choice I would give this movie a half star, but one whole star will have to do. The beginning is pretty cool, the rest of the movie is lacking. Not enough death, not enough blood, not enough characters, not enough Michael. Micheal also looked really bad! He looked the best in the first one and in the 6th one. Watch Halloween 6

Summary: C'mon Michael...give it a rest
Review: i'm givin this movie two stars because good ole Michael Myers and Laurie Strode make a trivial return. this time jamie lee is older...more mature...headmistress at a boarding school?? yep, and she's got a kid...who is 17 in the movie. then theres Michael...same mask...same old-school gas station uniform, and a big gleamin' knife. don't lose me here....those two characters are fun to see for a minute, but throughout a whole movie? maybe if the story was freakin' better....maybe if the movie was thought out a little bit more....maybe if this film was longer!! sorry, but halloween I & II are classics....this movie really should not have been made. the scare tactic of actor exiting frame right, only to bump into someone with a simultaneous keyboard/ string section/ cymbal crash is used over and over and over and over it quickly became a bad record. sure, the original halloweens had that, but man there was so much more intrigue. i really wanted to like this movie, but listen up kiddies, if you want a real scare...i mean a scare that will have you judging strange shadows in the dead of night when the power and the phone mysteriously go out...well if you want a hair raising scare, meet Michael Myers in halloween I & II. halloween H2O was a great idea on paper....it just got lost...way lost on it's way to film. skip this one folks....

Summary: Pleasantly suprised.....
Review: I must say, I was really expecting this movie to be really bad. After six movies, what could they do with the storyline? But, I really liked it! The only reason that I didn't give "Halloween H20" five out of five stars was because I really missed the late, great actor Donald Pleasence (Dr. Sam Loomis.)

Summary: Pleasantly suprised.....
Review: To be perfectly honest, I was expecting this movie to be very poor. After six films, what other stoylines could the writers come up with? But, I liked "Halloween H20" alot. The only reason that I didn't give it five out of five stars was because of the absence of the late, great Donald Pleasence (Dr. Sam Loomis.)

Summary: One of the best!
Review: I think this is a much better Halloween movie than all of them except for the very first one! I was so glad to see Jamie Lee Curtis back! She was the original star and she should have been in all of them! I don't care if Halloween H20 ignores the rest of the Halloween movies after the second one; the first, second, and third movie are the true series. I liked everything about H20. I liked the whole idea of Laurie Strode hiding away with her son in this secluded private school. Josh Hartnett did a wonderful acting job, as did Michelle Williams (his girlfriend.) H20 is very different from the other Halloween films, but it still has the suspense that only a Halloween movie can bring. As for the DVD itself, if you love special features than you're sure to enjoy it.

Summary: a stupid halloween film
Review: i really did not like this halloween because it was not scary and the mask was bad and the guy who played michael myers did even act like michael. This movie forgot about 4,5 and 6 of the halloween movies. i would of gave it 1 star but the halloween series is my favorite and i cant wait to see halloween 8 this October !!!!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It was not so great.
Review: I am a really huge Halloween fan and was a little dissapointed in this one. First of all it was not as scary. Second, there were only 6 killings.Halloween 1-6 had more killings than this one did, you would think this one would have more killings since it was the latest installment. It was still good but not as good as the others. I don't suggest you buy it unless you need to complete the Halloween collection at home.
