Review: I will never understand what people see in this film, however it has a huge following? Wes Craven, and any director really, should stay out of his own films because HE CANNOT ACT! As for the stupid premise and barely existant script for this film, I wonder what Wes Craven was thinking? Everyone is OVER the "ironic" horror movie plot which is so present in the 90's. Wes Craven is the champion of this and how many times can we see it done so badly? It's very hard to beleive he made the first one. Very hard. Two thumbs down!

Review: This movie was very well written and innovative on Wes Cravens part. The idea behind it is real terrifying to think about. The story about the ancient being is pretty creative. Wes Craven is catching up to Steven King.

Review: When i saw this movie i thought it would be better then all the rest of the nightmare movies with the exception of the first one(which is the best) Well, this move sucked alot! There was a few good parts but not enough, but most of the scary parts were taken from other movies and from all the other nightmare on elm street movies. I was very dissapointed Wes Craven can do 10 times better then this.

Review: Ok so the titel su****!But the movie is good.Robert Englund is reprises is role as Freddy Krueger,also Heather Langenkamp and John Saxon reprises the roles.The plot is great.And Wes Craven putting himself in the movie?that's good.It's a good movie.Not too much blod and stuff but it's good too see with you're friends.

Summary: This should of been a Nightmare On Elm Street 2
Review: All of the freddy movies are fun, but none are as dark and great as the original. Freddy's Dead was kinda of a let down. But this movie makes up for it and rekindles the greatness of the original. The movie revolves around the actress Heather Langenkamp, who stared in the original Nightmare ( 3rd too ) and is asked by Wes Craven to star in his New Nighmare movie. She then finds herself being haunted by the movie monster - who is also getting in the dreams of her son. If you think Freddy is just a stupid comical villan, it's probably because you've seen him in parts 2-6. I suggest renting or buying this one and the original. You don't really need to see the other sequels to get this movie just the 1st Nightmare On Elm Street.
