Summary: Suprising Movie!
Review: This has to be the best horror movie of 2002, and the best horror movie I have saw in a long time. This movie has suspense and suprise. The characters are suprisingly great and do a good job the whole way through the movie.

What is most suprising is how Wes Craven shows no mercy on any of the characters. This is not a movie in which there is a happy ending and everyone is pleased that "They" are dead. The plot is new and terrific. This movie gives audiences a change from the non scary and predictible movies like Thirteen Ghosts and House On Haunted Hill.

Definitely go see this movie or rent it when it comes out. The first chance I get to buy it, I'm grabbing it.

Summary: They is not worth your time or money
Review: This movie did have a few jumps but that was about it. Laura Regan was not the best actress for the role and Mark Blucas was a card board cut out as always.

Basically four people in the movie are having night terrors and THEY are after them. It takes them a while to figure out what is going on because they are in denial, etc.

Please see the Ring, it is a much better movie and has more thrills then this movie does.

Summary: What a nightmare...
Review: Or should I say, "Night Terror"? This movie (in my humble opinion of course) [was bad]! The acting was bad, the storyline was even worse. It wasn't even scary (¿I THINK it was supposed to be??)! A total waste of money. Everyone in the theater (including me) was saying how bad it was. I like the premise... the whole dream/nightmare type story. But this movie could have been a lot better. It's basically about a bunch of people (esp. one girl [Laura Regan's character]) who suffer from "night terrors" and have since they were children. There are these monster creature things that come for them. They all have the same mark on their bodies, which is never explained completely. They just disappear into the closet's netherworld or whatever you want to call it. The characters were so stupid I was frustrated through the whole movie. "Don't go there ALONE you stupid!!" "Run!! Run!! Swim!! Why are you just standing there??" Agh, I was so disappointed. There are so many holes in this story, it's practically swiss cheese! Ok, maybe that wasn't funny ... but I just can't express how much I did not like the movie. I guess I prefer movies that are mysterious but still make sense. This movie did not make sense. Why can't someone make a GOOD dream movie?? I just saw the movie The Ring recently, and it was SO much better. I say skip this movie, unless you want to waste time with mindless dribble. Save your money for something else!! If you decide to ignore my review, I hope you enjoy the "Wonderful" ending (sense the sarcasm?)! It COULD have been 10 times better, with the right director/writer. I read some other persons review that stated there would be a sequel. That may be the case, considering the ending was just awful. Would I see the next movie? Yeah maybe I would rent it, just to see if it explains things a little better. But this movie by it self, just cannot hold it's own.

Summary: They offers some good scares
Review: They is one of the better horror movies to come in recent years as it offers up some real frightening moments. While the writing is predictable and the acting is atrocious, overall none of this matters when a film can make you jump out of your seat, or make you slouch in your chair clutching the person next to you. Laura Regan plays a young woman whos night terrors are coming true terrorizing her and her friends. Shre spends the movie trying to get away from "they" and try to convince everyone that shes not crazy. We never actually get to see who "They" are but it makes it all the more intriguing as the director gives flashes of the type of creature "they" could be, and he creates a drab, eerie atmosphere that adds to the horror of the film. The ending by far is the most shocking. While it cannot compare with endings like The Sixth Sense and The Others, it has an ending you, or at least, I did not expect. Something rarely done in horror movies that is worth seeing this film alone.

Summary: THEY will come for you...
Review: I really enjoyed this movie, even though this wasn't the best Wes Craven film, but it was up there. The best thing in this movie was that it had a lot of scenes that really made you jump, and I mean high! The acting was decent and monsters were pretty scary looking (from what I saw). The only problem with this film was that its plot wasn't really explained, like the monsters weren't really talked about. THEY were...just...THERE!!! But all in all, I like the ending. It's just somehting about how it makes you think what you want to think, instead of being displeased by an ending that might have ticked you off. And I also agree with the other person, go see this movie and than see THE RING. That'll give you nightmares.

Summary: stressful...in the good way
Review: ...This was a very decent movie. I have no negative things to say about it. I realize there were some obvious things the characters could have done to save themselves, and a few predictables, but what scary movie doesn't have some of that. Considering some of the abhorrid rubbish that exists in your local blockbuster..."They" is definately worth the ticket price. I would describe the movie as Elm Street meets the Ring..sorta

Summary: THEY ought to be ashamed
Review: or at least Wes Craven should be ashamed to have his name attached to this garbage. Never in my life have I seen a horror movie this bad. Not even the worst Friday the 13th could hold a flame to this movie. What's funny about this movie is that the acting and direction is decent, but the plot is not developed very well. The thin storyline that is in the movie features 4 grad students who are being haunted by something that terrorized them as youngsters. I felt soooo bad for making my friends see this with me. A large majority of the people in my theatre were sighing and yawning. I kept wondering, "when's it gonna get good?" The scares are cheap and scarce as well.

Summary: ...!
Review: This movie is a worthless piece of crud! It is so boring and predictable, and everything in this movie is just wrong. This movie isn't scary at all. There isn't one part that'll scare you, and when the film was over, everyone in the thetre actually stood and said that it stunk, and I'm not kidding. Only small children and people new to horror will find this scary, ... This movie is horrible. If you want scary, see The Ring or Signs, but not this load of (pooo)!!!

Summary: Let's not see another Last House on the Left and see another
Review: THEY! This is probably the worst horror movie ever. Not scary, not funny, not entertaining, there is just nothing to like here, so don't waste your time seeing it.
