Summary: Darkwolf is surprisingly good. When do we get the Sequel?
Review: I really like horror films and make it a point to watch at least one or two new ones a week. Nobody really expects a low budget horror film to be really good, but surprisingly, I watched one this week that really was excellent. The film, Darkwolf is worth taking a look at for a lot of reasons. Here's my list of reasons why Darkwolf stands out from all the other horror films I've seen recently.

1) Really good story. People who claim the plot of this movie is stupid, don't really know how horror films are supposed to be. There's enough good story here to keep you watching for way more than the 95 minutes running time.

2) Good acting. The cast is surprisingly good. I've seen lots of them on TV, like Samaire Armstrong who is star of the television series, "The OC." She's really cute and really a good actress. Also Jamie Bergman who was in Howard Stern's TV series "Son of the Beach." and Playboy. Sasha Williams was also one of the Power Rangers. Others that are in the film are Kane Hodder who played Jason in all the "Friday, the 13th" movies, Alexis Cruz who was in Stargate, and Tippie Hedren who was in a bunch of Alfred Hitchcock films including "The Birds" which is a favorite of mine.

3) Hot Babes and more hot babes! Horror films are supposed to have hot babes and this one has more than almost all the rest put together. The good part about it is they are cool hot babes, not just stupid bimbos like most horror films. I wouldn't mind marrying any one of them. Did I mention that there is a lot of flesh too and flesh is a good thing. I won't tell you much about it, but there's this naked dance scene you got to see. Just see it and you'll know what I'm talking about.

4) Darkwolf is a really good creature. The special effects aren't the best, but this wolf's got personality. Hey, if you want brilliant special effects, go see Matrix or X-Men or something like that. in this film, it's the really great campiness of the creature that works for me. I hope the filmmakers don't screw it up in the sequel with better special effects.

5) Good characters. I'm 19 and I identified with the young people in this movie. They weren't that supid or out of touch like most other horror films. The lead character, Josie, (Samaire Armstrong) is totally believable and is a strong woman. I really like strong women in movies and real life. The cop, "Turley" played by Ryan Alosio is a cool dude. He's kind of like a really likeable James Dean sort of guy. I have to admit, I would have like him and Josie to get together by the end of the film. Maybe the'll both come back in the sequel.

6) The movie moved really fast and well directed. This film had some style, and never really slowed down. I wasn't bored for a second. It kind of reminded me of a lower budget "Terminator." It looked much better than most other cheapo horror films. I don't think the budget was very big on this movie, but it still managed to look really cool.

7) Really good extra stuff on the DVD. There's a hilarious blooper real and a well done documentary on the making of the film, where the actors, director, writer etc. are interviewed. I always like this material because it gives me more of a look into what really went on behind the scenes.

Anyway, just like I said, Darkwolf is a very cool movie. I really hope that the filmmakers do a sequel soon. Just make sure to keep most of the same characters (the one's that are left alive anyway.) I think you can buy the film for a really good price now, and it's well worth keeping in your horror library.

Summary: Bring on Darkwolf 2!!!!!
Review: I sat through this movie twice (especially the rooftop scene with the two chicks)! I've never seen anything like this before. The girl who played Josie is awesome and believable! The music rocked! I'm ready for Darkwolf 2!

Summary: Ok....When do we get the sequel? I need Darkwolf 2 !!
Review: I watched Darkwolf with my girlfriend this past Saturday night and we loved it. We watched it two times in a row and even looked for the sequel in the video store when we brought back the dvd. Oh well...guess Darkwolf Part 2 hasn't been made yet. What are you waiting for guys? Guess I'll have to buy Darkwolf and watch it at least once a week so that I can satisfy my Darkwolf desires until Part 2 arrives.

Summary: After watching Darkwolf 100 times, I need a sequel!
Review: If it's possible to wear out a DVD, I've done it with Darkwolf. After watching it at least 100 times, I finally decided that if the producers made a sequel, I could give my worn out DVD of the original movie a rest. Why have I watched is so much? Well, for starters, it's just a plain old good B-Movie. It has everything that one would expect in this type of film, and more. My girlfriend and I especially like the sequence that takes place on the roof between sexy Sasha Williams and Andrea Bogart. Why haven't we seen more of these two actresses?

If I were stranded on a deserted island, I would take a gameboy, a DVD player, a copy of "War and Peace" and Darkwolf! Hopefully by the time my boat get's shipwrecked, Darkwolf 2 will be in my posession!

Summary: didn't even spark a match
Review: it's easy to say my life is over when i've seen too much stupidly god awful horror movies. i'd pull the trigger before watching this movie if I were you folks. starts off at a strip joint which is a nice beginning by the way, dumb, idiotic piece about hybrid werewolves pummels into a mess with its own self. Jaime Bergman who was the chick cop killed in the hospital played on Son Of The Beach and is also David Boreanaz's, Tv's Angel, wife. Nudity is a bundle in this and the mindnumbing laughable special effects with the person computerized transforming doesnt help it. It's a junk pile to begin with. Stephen Williams from Route 666 is also in this and he dies at the beginning and Kane Hodder who played Jason in like 8 of the Jason movies plays the biker werewolf hybrid. a ***king waste

Summary: Kane Hodder is DarkWolf!!!
Review: Kane Hodder, world famous for his portrayal of Jason in the "Friday the 13th" movies is a force to be reckoned with in "DarkWolf". Not only is he the only Jason in my mind, but he's fantastic as the human form of DarkWolf. You gotta see him in his biker uniform, transforming into the wolf creature.

This movie is not only worth seeing for Kane, but Playboy Bunny and "Son of the Beach" series star Jamie Bergman is very cool too. Along with Alexis Cruz from "Stargate" and Steven Williams from "Twenty-One Jump Street," DarkWolf packs a lot of wallop!

DarkWolf is just plain fun and not to be taken too seriously. If you just sit back and watch the stellar "B"cast do their thing, you can't go wrong!

Summary: DarkWolf: A Killer Good Time Rockin B Movie.
Review: Keep all them high tone mainstream big budget Werewolf Movies. Darkwolf beats all the competition cold. Darkwolf has a hallarious plot line that is made all the funnier by the fact this movie really attempts to take itself seriously in a tongue in cheek sort of way. Part sexpot slasher film, part gore flick part adventurous sex party flesh romp, part police mystery, part gun toting I'm going to get my prey or die trying hunt fest, Darkwolf tired to be all things to all people.

Most A movies with such hopes usually fall flat but not DarkWolf as it has just enough of each element to be a blood fest one minute, a sex feast the next minute, a gun flick the next minute and a special effects wonder after that. The movie is all youth with a generous smattering of tight toned hard bodies in most of the staring roles.

DarkWolf rated R is a movie sexually raunchy as it can get and still be just an R rating so it is not one recommended for the kids & kinder after mom's PTA social. This movie is raw fun. Look at the movie and pick out its flaws there are ton's of them but they just add to the fun of the movie. I loved this movie so much more than the sophisticated mainstream werewolf fare like that big named snore-fest "An American Werewolf in London!" You want a dead boring study on Werewolves as high art in movies buy an American Werewolf in London and buy tooth picks to prop your eyes open you'll need them. When you just want to enjoy a fun Werewolf slasher movie with lots of blood gore bad acting and screams here's your movie dudes and dudette's Buy DarkWolf you will not be sad or sorry you did!

Summary: Great Horror flick! Should be on TV!
Review: Let me sum it up. I liked the movie. It had action, violence, suspense, drama... I cared about the characters. I also think the story has the potential to be a television series, perhaps on HBO so it could keep certain elements like the nudity (girl on girl action for those of you drooling for that) and the violence. The actual dialogue...well, it was alright. Nothing spectacular but this movie is definitely among the better "b" rated horror flicks. HOWEVER, I personally wouldn't spend the 31 dollars to buy it. Just rent it first to see if its worth being a part of your collection.

Summary: Sexy fun when the full moon rises
Review: Mix a lycanthropic fiend with a bunch of beyond belief sexy babes and what do we get? DarkWolf, that's right. This film ain't rocket science, but it sure got me going. It's got some scenes that I watched a couple of hundred times, just because of the shwing appeal itself. Especially the two girl rooftop scene. Wow! It may only be T&A, but what T&A! The wolf is cool too and the action sequences ain't half bad either. This is a pretty damn good horror film when it comes down to it. It's got everything it needs to take it's place in the B-movie horror hall of fame. Like I said, it's definitely worth a look or even a couple of hundred. Did I mention the rooftop scene?
