Summary: A HOWLING GOOD TIME
Review: I don't understand why this movie did'nt do better than it did, it is a good werewolf movie with great effects and very convincing performances. If you want an entertaining and suspenseful movie, give it a try.

Summary: A decent effort, but. . .
Review: I had read the novel that this movie was based on and found this adaptation to be somewhat lacking. The novel is "Thor" and was written by Wayne Smith. It is told almost entirely from Thor's point of view and is actually quite charming. I realize that many things work better in print than they would in film and that sacrifices have to be made in any screenplay adaptation, but the majority of the novel is told from Thor's point of view and is about his reaction to this bizarre situation that only he is aware of but cannot understand. The makers of this movie tried to capture some of the point of view but I ultimately they failed. Try and track down the book (I think it's no longer in print) and compare it to the movie. You'll see what I mean.

Summary: THE BEST WEREWOLF MOVIE EVER
Review: I have been looking for a great werewolf movie and I found it. I rented this movie and loved it, it looked good and it was good. I bought this and already watched it 7 times within 5 days. My only complaint is that its to short only 80 mins, the way they made the werewolf is amazing, they need it longer. If you want a good horror, suspense, werewolf movie get Bad Moon, It blows away American Werewolf In london and Paris.

Summary: The #1 Werewolf movie
Review: I have to say that this is my favorite Werewolf movie and probably one of the better. Some things, like the fact you could tell when they used a Mechanical Werewolf to when they used a man in a costume(That man was Stunt Coordinator Ken Kirzchinger)
Other than that, this was a great film. The DVD look of it is how it should of been viewed...In the theatres. Movies like these are why I hate Critics who only like big blockbuster hits.
This film had several firsts. 1)First time a Dog was the Werewolf's nemesis. 2)First time I can think of that little kid is involved and 3)First time in which Werewolf looks like an actual wolf and not a very hairy man. This film probably has the coolest looking Werewolf than any other Werewolf before it or after it. They should of released it in the theatres and the critics should really start paying attention to small films with great potential. Funniest moment was probably where little kid is trying to free Thor and the lights come on and he says "Oh you-know-what

Summary: Dog vs. werewolf
Review: I liked this movie I liked it when the German Shephard Thor actually kicked the werewolf's butt i saw him bite his troat his back and his arm he was a very strong dog one thing they should have done is that they should have replaced the german shephard with Three Komondor dogs these dogs are bigger and stronger than German Shephards they would have done more damage to the werewolf the werewolf would have been chewed up anyways I know a zillion animals that they should have replaced the dog Thor the werewolf might be stronger then the dogs but the dogs are smarter and more intelligent

Summary: Not Just Bad Moon...Bad Movie
Review: I'm a fan of werewolf flicks, but Bad Moon was just unwatchable. Michael Pare stars as Ted, an out of work photographer who becomes a werewolf when he is infected with lycanthropy in South America. After the attack, he moves back to Oregon and his sister invites him to stay with her.

While I liked the idea of Bad Moon, it suffered from some of the worse acting I've ever seen in a horror film. Ted and his sister's lines were abominable and were delivered with the emotional quality of vulcans. Plus, I thought the lengthy and involved sex scene in the movies opener rather unnecessary.

I'm giving this movie 1 star. And that's being kind. If you want a decent werewolf films watch Dog Soldiers or read Bitten by Armstrong. This film was sub par.

Summary: Better than usual modern werewolf movie
Review: I've been dissapointed with the modern werewolf movies, but this one distinguishes itself in several different ways. This is the first Werewolf vs. dog movie. A former magazine photographer is attacked (during a gratuitous sex scene) in the south american jungle. Upon his return to Oregon, a forrest worker is attacked, and the photographer begins to suspect what he's become. When his sister invites him to stay with her, a battle begins...between the werewolf and the family guard dog. The werewolf suit is one of the best yet, and the acting is not bad at all. There are a few gratuitous throw in victems (the scam artist), but this one is watchable, and probably the best since the original "Howling". Well worth checking out.

Summary: A great horror movie.
Review: In my opinion, this is one of the great horror movies that critics blasted off the charts. Yes, it's predictable. Yes, it's gory and full of jump-of-your-seat scenes. But I've always liked werewolf movies and this is one is at the top of my list. The critics treated this movie so badly that when my partner and I went to see it at the theatre, it was empty except for us and we were treated to a private viewing of it. We both enjoyed the great special effects, both visual and sound, plus the beautiful cinematography of the Pacific Northwest woods. We have added Bad Moon to the list of movies we watch on Halloween. This movie is a must-see for all the werewolf movie fans in the world.

Summary: Bad Moon -- Scary!
Review: Last summer, I was going to my cousin's house to watch some videos. He said to get one from the local grocery store. I was browsing through the titles, when a movie called BAD MOON caught my eye. It looked really scary, and the special effects looked awesome too. I was right--it was both frightening and funny. Definitely one of the best werewolf movies ever.

So if you're looking for a terrific, scary movie, don't pass up Bad Moon!
