Summary: The Most Terrifying Scream is Always The Last...
Review: Not always, actually. In many cases the "final"episode of horror series is the worst (but is there such a thing as a "final" episode in the horror genre ! ) I'm happy to say that this is NOT true for the Scream francise. Scream 3 is not the best (or scariest) of the series, but heck, compared to a lot of other horror flicks nowadays, its pretty... good! I will admit that I jumped, bit my nails, and (only once) I actually screamed during this film. It is fairly scary (although the whole idea and characters of "Scream" are starting to get old). I found that the gore was not too heavy, but the suspense is... I, personally, had NO IDEA who the killer was until he/she/them was revealed at the end. And you gotta admit, they are good at keeping you guessing the killer's identity until it is revealed...But anyway, this movie is a suitable conclusion to a really great trilogy and if you enjoyed the first two films; you'll love number three! (In a related note: the DVD is full of great goodies for fans of the series [Creed music video, bloopers and behind the scenes for all three scream movies, movie trailers, a bunch of short commercials, and lots more stuff!) Summary: BEST HORROR MOVIES EVER MADE!
Review: Scream definitely is the best trilogy out there cause its not only scary its also kinda dramatic,very very funny and in sort of a way you can learn movie lessons from them. All the characters through all the movies got to develop and grow each one becoming better every movie, by far the best character (for me) is Gale Weathers she's so cool. SCREAM is when the murders begin it's really good movie cause its kind of difficult to guess who the killer is and you're stuck to your chair all the whole movie you'll never get bored this one is the one with most blood,organs outside,gore of all. SCREAM 2 is when sydney is in college but surprise the killer strikes again is really good although poor sydney is attacked by none other than....better watch it. Here comes my favorite SCREAM 3 in this one all the rules are forgotten and you never (unless you saw it) know what's coming up, next in this one Sydney's past becomes the most important character and the key to the whole trilogy. BUY THIS NOW! YOU'LL NOT (NEVER) REGRET IT.

Review: I am so excited about the release of this boxed set, I can't even tell you. This is the movie trilogy that renewed my faith that Hollywood can still produce amazing, quality movies...and the trilogy that first turned me on to horror films. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find any as brilliant, intelligent, risk-taking, terrifying, and hilarious as "The Scream Trilogy" (except maybe "What Lies Beneath," which came very close). Unlike most horror films, this series showcased brilliant writing, sly pop-culture and film references, wonderful acting, fully three-dimensional characters that you actually care about, and a wicked, dark sense of humor missing from most horror films. This series was able to simultaneously not take itself seriously by satirizing the horror genre and scare the pants off the audience members. The series is filled with classic scenes that are perfectly staged, such as the Drew Barrymore "Casey Becker" sequence at the beginning of the first one, the screening-room scene in the second, and the ingenious scene in the third where the main character, Sidney, truly relives her life as a movie, as the killer stalks her on a movie set that is identical to the home where she was first stalked in the first film. "Scream"'s sense of self-parody is most apparent in the "Stab" series, which is the film-within-a-film, a series of horror films based on the "true" experiences of Sidney Prescott in "Scream". This is a series of films that must be seen to be believed; that is brilliantly directed by Wes Craven to focus less on actual gore and more on stylish and atmospheric fear. The mask itself is a perfect vision of terror. It mimics Munch's famous painting, "The Scream," and shows remorselessness, cold-blooded evil, and even mocking the victim. Any major fan of horror films, or films in general (because there are many references to all kinds of films), cannot miss any of the three amazing films in this series. Probably the greatest achievement of "The Scream Trilogy" is that it has surpassed all other horror movies in this regard: it has discovered the key to making horror sequels that are equal to or better than the original! That is a hard feat, and is one that is accomplished by all of the things I have already said, and most importantly the characters, who you deeply care about and become emotionally invested in. Watch and find out if the characters you grow to love so much can survive through three films of terror.

Summary: OK Movie...But Cool Anyway
Review: The plot was good in Scream 3, and the movie is less corny then Scream and Scream 2, but the movie was still just OK. It wasn't scary enough for a horror movie. It has plenty of gore and killings, but that didn't make the movie scary. After the first time you watch Scream 3 the movie gets boring and even less scary once you know who the killer is. Most of the characters are stupid. The movie has some comedy, such as one line form Sidney ("You want me m***********!) and two lines from Tyson ("Oh s***!", and "Holy m**********!"), which are funny at the time they are said. The ending to the movie ................. is sad , but I'm not going to say why because that would spoil the movie. The gore is cool. I'd say you might not like this movie that much if you are over the age of 25.

Review: The same story - people getting killed one by one by a guy in a mask. The thing I liked though was the fact that I thought I knew who the killer was towards the end of the movie but...NO! It wasn't who I predicted. All 3 movies were like that for me but by the 3rd one you just wish that Sidney could live the rest of her life in peace.

Review: I JUST LIKE THIS MOVIE , NOT BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE KILLING SHOWN ,BUT BECAUSE I ENJOY THE WORK OF ALL OF THE ACTORS IN IT , NEVE CAMPBELL IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE , THE SAME AS DAVID ARQUETTE. I LIKED THIS MOVIE SINCE THE FIRST ONE , IT HAS SUCH A GOOD STORY, AND I LIKE SCARY MOVIES , BUT THIS FINAL ONE IS THE BEST BECAUSE IS NOT JUST SCARY IT IS ALSO FUNNY. AND NOW I ONLY HAVE TWO THINGS TO SAY: FOR YOU OUTHERE DON'T THINK IT TWICE AND FOR ALL OF THE PEOPLE INVOLVE IN THIS MOVIE: GOOD JOB GUYS . Summary: Has become the movie was satirized in the first SCREAM.
Review: Wes Craven did the same with the Nightmare on Elm Street Series.The first one is always great, with a sinister plot, or a creepy bad guy or an interesting plot, but then Craven starts seeing greenbacks and the now series loses it's edge and becomes a cash franchise, rather than a good pieces of celluloid. It's the same with Scream. The first one was excellent in it's way of satirizing other scary movies (including Nightmare on Elm street) by devising a set of "rules" that one must follow to survive a horror movie. However the second fell into the generic slasher movie flick and this one was even worse. Sydney Prescott is now in hiding, working as a phone counselor for distressed people. She's leading a sheltered, protective life (An alarm detector on a 4 foot high fence? Give me a BREAK!) and is in a location no one knows about. Meanwhile, Stab 3 is in production and the first character to die (Cotton Weary from Scream 2) is killed in real life by another copy cat. Holy deja vu Batman! He begins killing other characters in the order of their deaths in the movie and ultimately, after the second death, the production is shut down. The killer wants Sydney to come out of hiding and face him/her for past misdeeds which includes Sydney's promiscious mother. The movie is composed of people and their acting doubles sarcastically making fun of each other and this ranting gets old very quickly. The problem is, there is no other dialog to replace this. Obviously Kevin Williamson has run out of creative things to do or say. The killer becomes the typical omnipotent character who is everywhere and knows everything. He begins killing the cast members for no reason (other than having another Craven gimmick) with them having no chance. So this is just another typical movie right? Yeah, but Craven/Williamson should know better by now. It is pretty sad for them to end (yeah right) this trilogy this way, with the main character who becomes not a person, but a runner/screamer/scared face person, the others becoming meat for the grinder and secondary comic relief having no chemistry with the secondary female (and their married in real life!). All in all, don't waste your money on this junk...Rating: D+

Summary: By the numbers, uninventive
Review: Sorry, but Scream 3 is as predictible as they come. The only unpredictable thing about it is your inability to guess who is behind it all. The answer, which is supposed to tie all three movies together, is ludicrous because the perpetrator simply had no relation to the other movies. The answer is also unguessable which destroys the main reason to watch this sort of flick. You simply stand no chance at all of determining the perpetrator from the clues given. On the other hand, Jenny McCarthy, one of the most annoying people in movies and TV, gets killed. That earns this boring suspenseless piece of drivel one more star than it deserves. And gee whiz, guess what? It's set up for yet another sequel. Wes should call the next one "Screaming on Friday the 13th on Elm Street While Running from Michael Myers " since apparently the scream vehicle is going to be milked for all it's worth as well.

Review: When I first was going to see it, I thought, not another .... sequel, you know? I was blown away! It wasn't better than the original, but it was defenetly better than the second. It has the three survivors of the first two, "Dewey Riley", that clumsy Deputy whose sister died in the first Scream. "Gale Weathers," that pesky reporter in the first two, and a jourilist for Total Entertainment in the third, and "Sidney Presscott," living in total isolation after she was stalked. Changed her name and still, after all that, the killer has found her. I truly loved this movie. And if you liked the first two, you'll love the third. But if you've never seen the first two, you'll be lost.
