Summary: Fast Paced; Quirky; Good Date Movie
Review: Werewolves here are more "interesting" looking than scary. This film never approaches the overall quality of 1981's "An American Werewolf in London", and yet, it is no waste of time. Rather good chemistry between the two lead characters, although, it is worth noting Tom Everett Scott has had much more career success since this film than Julie Delpy. Lots of romance and just enough intermittent comic relief to make it one of the few horror movies one can watch with a date. Surprisingly conservative for an "R" rated DVD, regrettably Julie shows very little skin.

Summary: An American Classic
Review: This film is a sequel to "An American Werewolf in London," a wonderful, but extremely thin movie. I think this one is infinitely better than the original. The bad guys are more charasmatic, the love story is deeper, and the main character has many more layers. The special effects are super and the script is well written. This is one of my favorite horror movies of all time.
Comedy in a horror is done wrong in a LOT of cases, but not in this case. The main character is haunted by the ripped up corses of the people he killed as a werewolf. One of them is a beautiful girl, and she's... So she spends her time on camera trying all kinds of ways to trick him into killing himself or to get him killed.
Good flick. Buy it today!

Summary: HES NO USE TO ME AS A CORPSE
Review: I first rented this film and now I own it!

I just had to own An American Werewolf In Paris!

"Werewolf"is about these 3 young college guys who are on a dardevil tours and on top of the tower Andy (Tom Everett Scott-That Thing You Do!)rescues a troubled and sad woman while bungee
jumping and she becomes the girl of his dreams until he finds out her secret:Shes a werewolf!

And there are a few other werewolves who want to rid Paris of human scum-and Andy and his friends must try to stop them.

My favorite character was Vince Vieluf-and when he became that corpse after the werewolf attack-he was even cooler!

I bought this movie in the city and also the soundtrack-how lucky is that?!

And that corpse woman was cool too-really neat when her eyeball came out of her head!

The werewolves looked neat-like when that woman was changing into one!

I had a dream I was a werewolf-it was strange!

I saw on a stupid werewolf site that if you are a werewolf:

one is if you love wolves.

(I love them)

If you stay up late at night or something.

(I do that too)

I'm a pretty good howler-but everyone can do that!

I would reccomend this movie to anyone who is into werewolves and just likes scary movies!

IM NOT A WOLF!

Summary: Somewhere, A Werewolf Is Softly Weeping
Review: I never wanted to leave in the middle of a movie as badly as I did when watching this bomb (with the possible exception of The Phantom Menace). And not just because it slanders the great name of the original, no. Even if this were the only werewolf movie ever made I'd still need some sort of well-constructed restraining device to keep me seated for it's duration.

One noteworthy thing about this film, though, is that it all-too-clearly represents the current trend in horror movies, and allows immediate comparison to an older, and much much better, horror movie to which it's supposedly a sequel.
While older horror movies relied on intelligent scripts and characters, some imagination on the viewers behalf and sensible, non-MTV style editing, the new motto seems to be "if we distract the audience enough, maybe they won't notice the lack of any redeeming qualities in the film they're watching".

See the original, The Howling, Wolfen...heck see Plan 9 From Outer Space, but please don't give the producers of this movie any more money.

Summary: An well made comedy horror film.
Review: An American Tourist (Tom Everett Scott) becomes involved with a young french beauty (Julie Delpy), who is actually a Werewolf.

Written & Directed by Anthony Waller (Mute Witness) hade made a watchable film, which is not much relation to the John Landis Classic-An American Werewolf in London. This is mostly a no-name Sequel. Only the film Visual Effects are Quite Disppointing but in a Good B-Movie can of way. Alternate DVD from Europe has an running Commentary Track by the Director. Grade:B+

Summary: Misunderstanding
Review: This movie is great but: it is NO horror-movie!!
This movie is a romantic one. It's simply a Love story.
You don't have to be a fan of Horror-movies to like it,actually you shouldn't be.
Personally I don't now any movie that frightened me. American werewolf in London was funny,Scream was just boring and Halloween, well ok.The only Horrorfilm that was a little scary was SHINING.
For me Don't look now by Nicolas Roeg was the most shoking movie.
If you liked City of angels you will love this one too,and July Delpy is just terrific!!!

Summary: One of the best cult horror flicks out there!
Review: For those who enjoy a classic horror flick, like to laugh, and obtain a heightened level of intelligence, this movie is for you. It's one of the funniest (though it is a horror), most interesting, and down-right entertaining movies of its kind. Don't regard those bogus reviews that say the movie isn't "scary" or isn't any good. It was never meant to frighten you, only make you laugh and enjoy it. I think too many people saw this movie thinking that they would be scared out of their wits, and thus were disappointed because they misperceived the plot. Great movie, great cast, great plot. Rent or buy it soon!

Summary: Howl at the Moulin Rouge
Review: Twenty Years ago and having legal problems, John Landis was almost forced to shoot his werewolf film in Paris, France. So, instead of AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON, we would have had AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN PARIS. Well, now... we've got them both. it would have been netter if we had left the first well enough alone. First, let me say that Julie Delpy and Tom Everett Scott are pretty good in their thankless roles, but that is the extent of the films charms. In making this sequel, somebody wrote down what they remembered from the prequel and re-wrote it in a different story, but unfortunately, they focused on the wrong things... For example, "LONDON" had the werewolf attacking people in London's popular Picadilly Circus, causing major automobile accidents... From that scene "PARIS" borrowed "Automobile Accidents". "LONDON" had the students get lost on the English Moors where they met many Cockney characters. "PARIS" has students meet an underground cult of skinheads, a peculiar and uncaharcteristic part of France. "LONDON" has the main characters best friend ravaged by the wolf and reappear ravaged just to give the hero instruction. His delivery is so tongue-in-cheek (or tongue-in-whats-left-of-cheek) that it is a hilarious highlight of the film. "PARIS" steals the same technique but the friend is not at all humorous, rather he is dreadful... Dreadfully boring. this film could have been called AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN OMAHA NEBRASKA for all the use of Paris, especially with the large focus on the underground gangs...The effects are so-so, especially with today's standards. The computer effects cannot even compete with LONDON's live-action transformations. So, all-in-all, this movie is a definite skipper. The DVD has a nice widesreen transfer and a good audio transfer.
