Summary: Probably the worst horror movie ever..
Review: .. well actually I'm not sure if this was SUPPOSED to be a horror movie. Watching this movie is like staring at the wall. There's no action.. and when there is! It doesn't make sense what's going on. If they were trying to make this a horror movie, they did a terrible job. If they were trying to make this movie make SENSE, they did a terrible job as well. I saw this in the movies.. got bored to death.. and then I rented it again just to see if I would change my mind. Well I didn't. And the bottom line is.. this movie sucks.

Summary: pointless to the extreme
Review: tell me again why this movie is great, I dont know. is it the fact that its another one of these corny slasher and mystery pics, maybe..no, its boring with its lead actress Melissa Sagemiller who screams, runs and acts pitifully. a good cast is wasted here people. Wes Bently, Casey Affleck, Luke Wilson and Eliza Dushku shouldnt of been in this movie. a waste of talent. purely for those idiots who like these kind of movies and if you wanna try suspense thrillers, check out Se7en or any of the Scream movies because they had taste.

Summary: Need a special class to follow this movie!!
Review: The only thing that made me not want to stop watching this movie, was the fact that I just wanted to see more of the GORGEOUS Eliza Dushku!! I have been on a horror movie frenzie lately, so I thought I would give this one a chance. I wish there was a panel of experts in the horror movie industry, that could choose whether a movie got released or not. I guess the industry needs these movies to be released, in order to make the classic ones look even better. Sort of why Goodness needs Evil.

The movie never explains itself. Melissa Sagemiller (Cassie), her on screen boyfriend Casey Affleck (Sean), Eliza Dushku (Annabel), and Wes Bentley (Matt), who we don't know if he's Annabel's boyfriend or just her love interest. They are in a car accident. From what we are led to believe, everyone survives except for Casey's character "Sean". From there, there are so many twists and turns (which are fine if they eventually lead you to a point), that you get lost and you just hope that before the end of the movie, they explain themselves. Sorry to tell you that at the end of this movie, you still don't know exactly who's dead and who's not dead. Since this is obviously not going to have a sequel, the ending to this movie should have been clear and final. Maybe it's just me, but the days of true horror movies, have past. Your classics The Omen, Halloween, The Exorcist, The Shinning, even Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th's (Only the first ones, cause after that they got really cheesy) are no more. There are some new ones that are satisfactory (The Ring, 13 Ghosts), but nothing will ever compare to the older classics. Just my opinion, remember we're all entitled to have one, so don't write a review and crucify me. Eliza Dushku is the only GREAT thing about this movie!!

Summary: title of review
Review: So up until I saw this movie I thought Valentine was the absolute lowest modern teen-horror movies could sink. Then I saw Soul Survivors. It isn't as hackneyed and generic as Valentine, but it is really, really boring. I had trouble telling the two male leads apart, they both had exactly the same haircut, and no distinguishing features. The plot just went nowhere. After the hints that something sinister is going on start presenting themselves, the plot goes nowhere. There is no progression towards figuring out what is going on and reaching a conclusion, the plot just stagnates, with numerous sinister occurances that are never explained. Even at the end of the film, we get no closure. The question of whether the people pursuing the girl were real flesh and blood people, paranormal manifestations, or merely her own personal delusions, is never answered. That just adds to the weakness of the film though. Even if there was a conclusion, it would still be unwatchably dull.

Summary: Wha?
Review: This movie was horrendous. It made little sense and was terribly dull. But I still bought it because I dig the idea of Eliza Dushku making out with another woman, even if she did look like a dude.

Summary: The world of the living and the dead collide....yawn.....
Review: I have heard the makers of this movie talk about how original this story is, but really, I have seen this type of movie many times before, and in much better vehicles. The movie tries to keep you on your toes by mixing up reality with surreal imagery. Oooooh, what's real, what's not? By the end of the movie, I was asking myself 'Who cares?'

I think the actors in this movie did fairly good job, but the material they had to work with was really lame. For me, there were very few likable characters in this movie, so I really didn't take much interest in what happened to them. And the leather wearing, cigarette smoking, bad girl routine played by Eliza Dushku is getting old. I think she's smart, attractive, and deserves better parts than this. Maybe she needs a new agent.

The movie revolves around an car accident, and the consequences of that accident. The movie, at first glance appears to be a horror type movie, but it is not. The movie claims to be a suspenseful thriller, but it is not. Sometimes it seemed to try and be both, but failed miserably. It's use of imagery, flashing between reality and the surreal, gets old fast. Just because someone can direct a MTV music video doesn't mean they can direct a feature length movie. The characters have little or no development and, subsequently, no depth. They are flat and uninteresting. The 'surprise' ending left me cold, as I saw it coming from a mile away. Basically the main character is left to deal with events, torn between different worlds, not knowing what's real and what's not...and the viewer stumbles along with this plodding story. I thought at some points the director was beating us over the head with his message, and at other points the message was lost in a swamp mess of surrealistic imagery.

As I said, I've seen this sort of plot in better movies, and Carnival of Souls (1962) comes to mind. That movie was much more effective and a heck of a lot cheaper to make. Even Jacob's Ladder was better. The filmmakers claim that their story is so original and nothing like this has been done before is bogus and somewhat pretentious in my opinion.

Summary: A Parody Of I Know What You Did Last Summer
Review: This movie falls completely flat. The only reason I watched it is so I could look at Eliza Dushku and she doesn't look as good as she should in this movie because she is gothic looking in this movie. This movie is not scary or cool, its downright awful and funny. Skip this unless you have a sense of humor. This is even worse than I Know What You Did Last Summer and the Scream series combined(yes its that bad)and I hope you to heed to my warning.
