Summary: eXCEPT FOR THE ALL OPEN-UNEXPLAINED ENDING, IT WAS GOOD
Review: 1995-HADDONFIELD, 17 years after the original Massacre. Laurie Strode's daughter Jamie is dispatched (in the director's cut she lives 30 minutes longer and it explains how she got to that hospital) Now (Laurie strode's dad) John Strode's brother is buying the Myers house...Family of Michael, living in his house? Yup, he's mad, and this time, he has Satin himself to help him make sure nobody lives. See this one, it is scary! The only backdraw is the ending, it is so unexplained, doctor winn? AKA THE DEVIL, is he alive?! Anyway, the director's cut has a way better ending, I hate this chopped up 88 minute edit of the original 106 minute version, release the director's cut!

Summary: This is not the original version.
Review: This version of Halloween 6 has been cut up sumpin' fierce by Joe Chappelle...using Micheal's own knife! I won't say what scences were changed for Joe's release of H6. I will say that the original producer's cut is so much better. Unfortunately, it has never been OFFICIALLY released.

Summary: It's not that bad!
Review: This movie is difficult to obtain here in the UK; the only way is to buy a region 1 version from the US which of course is more expensive, and having read the reviews, which in the main don't recommend the film at all, I was reluctant to do so. However having bought all the others in the series (including Halloween 3) I decided to bite the bullet and buy it, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, its not bad at all, in fact I preferred it to Resurrection, though I have to admit I wasn't to taken by the idea that Mr Myers had in fact been controlled and protected by these 'Druid' like characters all along, I think Michael Myers was far more menacing when there was no explanation as to why he killed and also why he wouldn't die. The DVD itself has a good atmospheric picture quality and the sound quality is reasonable. There are no special features to speak of but overall I'm glad I bought it, and it certainly isn't have as bad as other reviews here would have you believe.

Summary: 6 in the Halloween series
Review: The curse of Michael Myers is possibly the best of the Halloween sequels.ONce again Michael Myers is in Haddenfield killing of people who come around his old house.Nothing great, but better than numbers 2,5,7,8.

Summary: Maltin Type Review
Review: a large improvement over the last two outings, part 6 links Michael to the Druids, ntroduces devil worshippers, puts in gruesome and disgusting murders and more! This once concerns 15 year old Jamie Lloyd (C.J. Brandy) escaping from strange catacombs with her new baby. After Michael disposes of her, he heads for a family that is unlucky enough to live in his former home! Very exciting and energetic, this once ranks very high in the series. Sadly, this was veteran actor Donald Pleasance's last performance. Rated R ***1/2

Summary: WHAT IS THIS?!!
Review: HUH??!!!This movie makes no sense and doesnt follow much of the original story line.I dont understand why they made this if it doesn't even get recognized in Hallowen H20.This movie was not needed and the series would probably be better without it.In the first scenes Laurie's daughter gets killed by the infamous Micheal Myers after she had a new born baby. This movie is about Micheal going after that baby and murdering it.In H20 Laurie Strode doesnt even mention that she had a daughter so basically Halloween 4-6 was pointless to story line but OK if you like the slashing part of the movie.Overall, only get this movie if you are a slasher fan and DONT get this movie if you want proper story line.

Summary: SCAREFUL AND BEST HALLOWEEN
Review: THOUGH BAD REVIEWS AND PEOPLE WRITE STUFF THAT THIS ISN'T THE BEST,IT IS THE BEST WITH BLOOD,SCARY PLOT WITH MICHAEL MYERS KILLING A NEW FAMILY AND HE WAS A THORN DRUID OR JUST MORE FRIGHTENING IN THE ENTRY,HE KILLS HIS NEICE{FROM 4 AND 5,DIFFERENT ACTRESS AND SHE IS GROWN UP}.AND WANT'S HER NEW KID{A TODDLER}AND WILL KILL TO KILL IT,BUT WHEN THE GROWN UP TOMMY NOTICES MICHAEL MYERS IS RETURNING TO HIS HOUSE HE MUST PROTECT THE BRODE'S{HE KILLS ONLY 3 IN THE FAMILY} AND TOMMY HAS THE TODDLER,SO MICHAEL MYERS CHASES THEM FOR IT AND WHEN THE SHOWDOWN AT THE END,LETS SEE WHO DIES.A DECENT SEQUEL WHICH IS THE BEST,I BOUGHT THIS FILM ON DVD AND IT ROCKS.

Summary: Beyond bad, one of the worst horror films ever made
Review: Of all the many horror or slasher series out there, Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, is undoubtadly one of the worst and above and beyond the worst of the long running Halloween series. This sixth film in the series (and first under Dimension/Miramax films) picks up a few years after Halloween 5 as Michael finally catches up with his neice, dispatches her, then hunts her baby. Then Mike makes his way back to Haddonfield and kills some more. This time around we see how Michael is part of some kind of cult and it seems as if the story were trying to suggest pieces of Mike's origin and his invulnerability. All this however is quickly flushed down the commode. Director Joe Chappelle (who helmed Phantoms and the ridiculously bad Hellraiser: Bloodline under the Alan Smithee name) has crafted the absolute goriest film in the series, and the gore and kills are mounted up to ridiculous lengths like we've never seen in a Halloween film before. In any of the previous Halloween films, Michael killed in a fashion unlike Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees (I had to use him as a comparison, sorry..), but the later entires in the series under the Dimension/Miramax label have made him a more grislier killer, and any Halloween fan knows that. The story is filled with ridiculous plot holes and gigantic leaps of logic, there are no real scares or surprises (the revelation of The Man in Black had me laughing like I was watching a comedy), and looking at poor Donald Pleasence in his final role is almost heartbreaking for any long time fan of his work or the Halloween series. Thankfully, Halloween H20 ignored anything from this installment, and Halloween 6 is better off to be left on the shelves.

Review: I liked this movie, but yet it wasn't one of the best in the Halloween Series....I think one of my favorites, if not my favorite would have to be Halloween H20..But this one was good as well..And I got it on DVD, for my VHS copy was lost, and I needed the this one to complete my collection..But any how I thought the plot was kind of confusing but good because it explained alot about Michael's past and how he came to be a mass murder..The idea about the Stordes' living in Michael's old house was kind of weird but a good twist, I didn't like the part where Jamie Lloyd was killed in the beginning but otherwise it was still good...And in the end I would have to agree with many that it was really confusing, like the very end in my opionon that was Loomis screaming and some how Michael escaped.....AGAIN.....But as for Wynn if one is not paying attention, and it is hard to catch, but he was in the OR when Michael got in and went on his homicidal rampage...Hey if you have seen this movie or if you want to see it be warned this scene was hard to figure out who was dying...Yeah of course it was Michael killing every one but with the whole strobe light thing...(bad effect) it was hard to see any thing execpt Michael and blood being splattered about...(cool effect).....But after that it was the as usual Michael v.s. his attacker duel...And his supposed death...(every one who is a fan of these movies knows that you can't keep these guys down)....Michael's mask a scream, and the credits...I think that could have been brought into a few more minutes so we could see a little more of what they wanted us to see, and our minds wouldn't have to cramp when trying to figure it out for ourselves...

So if you like these movies...I recommend seeing it....But try and rent it first because it is good, just be prepared for trying to figure it out....Hope this review was helpful.....
