Summary: Classic horror film, with tons of laughs!
Review: This is an absolutely great horror movie, that will make you laugh out loud. The " Child's Play " series has always been a fun series to watch, with it's wonderful gore, wonderful humor and ofcourse the wonderful Chucky! I always have had a great time laughing while watching these movies. And I can't wait for the next film. I mean it's so funny watching Chucky killing people, because he's so little, and it's also so funny that in every one of these films he's ultimately determined! Chucky is just a wondeful horror villain. Chucky has been spawned by the great horror villains, Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, Leatherface, Norman Bates, Pinhead etc. And coming along with these other great horror villains of many sequels, Chucky has even homaged them in " Bride Of Chucky. " Well, here's your plot to the film that introduced the little one! Andy Barclay's this little fan of the GOOD GUYS t.v. show. He watches it all the time. And when it's revealed that GOOD GUY dolls are being released, he's just gotta have one! Eventually his mother, played by Katherine Hicks, purchases one of the GOOD GUY dolls off of a homeless man. Only, this doll isn't your ordinary hug-buddy, he's been possessed by the soul of the lake-shore strangler, Charles Lee Ray a.k.a. Chucky. And all hell breaks loose!

Summary: One of the funniest horror movies ever
Review: A rather cheesy and amusing plot about a serial killer who gets his soul transfered from his dead body to a good guy doll at a local toy store. This movie did quite a good job of making a decent horror movie and adding a spice of humour to it. Lots of fun all the way. Followed by three quite impressive sequels.

Review: I just saw "Child's Play" Friday, October 29, on USA Network. I like the part when Andy's babysitter gets killed. But it's definitely not for the youngest to the young children. Only teenagers. Only they who love scary movies should appreciate it over the "Pet Semetary" series.

Review: 1988 shocker of a killer who is shot be a cop in a toy store, who then is forced to transfer his soul into a "good guy doll" so he would keep from dying and going to hell. Sounds very silly but it is so nicely acted and directed it keeps you yelling for more. And the special effects will truly blow you away-chucky(the good guy doll) walks, talks, and moves so smooth you truly cant tell its a machine. And as it said on the original box cover, Chucky truly is one mean SOB..
