Summary: Jason's back again! Ooops, its not him
Review: In this fifth chapter, Jason Voorhees is taking a rest after his death in Part 4. As we all know he eventually comes back to wreak furthor havoc in Part 6. And he's currently working on Jason X and Freddy Vs. Jason. Well lets go to the review. I'm not a big fan of Roy, the killer in this one. But I give this flick 5 stars because, all of these movies are pure horror classics. The story starts off with Tommy Jarvis (from Part 4) having a day dream about everyone's favorite hockey-masked killer, Jason, returning from the dead. He wakes up, and we sees he's in a van, taking him to a house for mentally-troubled teens. When he gets there he starts hallucinating Jason. Soon after, a killer starts hacking up nearby citizens. It's not Jason though. During the film, we get the standard classic stuff : Nudity, endless harware and plenty of gore! This is just non-stop entertainment! A lot of my fellow-fans of the F13 series, hate this installment for being Jason-less. And I dis-like it for that one element. But everything else is more than a horror fan could want!

Summary: The Backwoods "Hicks" MADE this movie a classic!
Review: Once again our intelligence level is tested and insulted with the Friday the 13th Franchise.
This one wasn't the worse but had me laughing at the total silliness and unrealistic characters in this movie.
First of all, What kind of "looney bin" is this when no one appears to have any psychological problems other than Tommy Jarvis himself? And what was up with his medication....it seemed like it NEVER worked, he had visions of Jason Vorhees 24-7.
I never knew stuttering was a mental issue to be put in the "Looney Bin".
I never knew punk rocker chicks who do "pop and lock dancing" is a "mental crime" to be put in the "Looney Bin".
I never knew being obese was a "mental crime" to be put in the "Looney Bin".
Why do they have two totally NORMAL people in that so called nut house..they were very sensible when it was time for a toss in the hay though..
The funniest part of the movie was the 2 backwoods hicks, the lady and her "40 year old autistic looking son" why wasn't HE committed to the "Looney bin"?(why was he so dirty looking??)
The dialogue was silly but funny "You big D*ldo"
"You aint so perty yer self!"
She was also spitting in the "stew".
SIGH*
The whole movie is ubelievable The paramedic "Roy" mimicked the Jason Vorhees crimes in revenge of his son getting killed...chopped up in pieces? Come on!
The Connection was impossible. He carried a picture of himself and his "son" in his wallet...and some old news paper clippings of Jason murders.
yeah right!
Apparently Gary Coleman once again wasn't available for a part ..so they got.... "Dudley" from Diffren't Strokes. I was greatly surprised that he wasn't killed off in this but this was during an era when Hollywood was making a GREAT effort not to let the black people get killed off first as they did in horror movies in the past.
The ending was once again stupid and they never did follow through on Tommy Jarvis being the next Jason...instead they made him come back in part 6 to have an excuse to resurrect him..for a TOTALLY stupid reason at that.
Bloopers upon Bloopers upon Bloopers!
I can't go on.

Summary: "Ethel" makes the movie
Review: I cannot remember the actress's real name right now, but the woman who played Ethel made this a classic. Not just the script and the character, but SHE brought the character to life with her classic lines like: "You big d---o, eat your f-ing slop!" and "that is one f-ing ugly man that goes there!". I enjoyed the rest of the movie, but she was most memorable. I wish we could see more of her in other movies.

Summary: More than 1 star? Are you people serious????
Review: This movie is just plain awful, and I can't believe anybody would give this movie 4 or 5 stars. Common people! Wake up!

First, Jason Voorhees is not even in this, just some Jason wannabe. But that's not really why I didn't like this movie.

I thought the murder scenes were cheesy, and the movie in general was poorly done. It wasn't scary at all, the acting was lousy, and the sound and picture quality was awful (unless it was just the rental copy I had, but it looked bad). The first 4 movies in the Friday series were eerie and scared the crap out of me when I saw them. Part 5 had no such effect. The only part that made my skin crawl was when that guy killed the fat kid with the candy bar with an axe, but that was only one small part in the movie and seemed completely pointless as it didn't mean anything at all to the story, if there was one. That guy wasn't the killer in the movie, so why have other people committing murders too?

If you want to watch a good Friday the 13th movie, check out parts 1-4,6, and 7 is okay.

Summary: The Black Sheep of the Series.
Review: It has been Years Now...that Tommy Jarvis (John Shepherd), now in is Early Twenties and he also Trying to Forget his Unexpected Trouble Pass with the Murderer-Jason Voorhees and also Wanting to Start a New Life at the Remote Santuary. Now, there`s has been Killing all around Him, it`s Seems to be in the Style of the Pass Butcher but Someone could be Serving as a Copycat Killer.

Directed by Danny Steinmann made a fine Suspenseful Slasher Horror Film. Many would Call this the Worst of the Series, because Jason isn`t the Killer in this One. This is Actually, the Most Underrated in the Series. Most Fans of the Friday the 13th Series Hates this One, Expect for the Atmospheric Opening and Closing Sequences. Still, it was a Modest Box Office Hit in Theaters. It`s also quite Different from the Original and the Sequels but It`s Still a Watchable Horror Flick. Corey Feldman has an Cameo in this, as the Young-Tommy Jarvis. DVD's has an terrific anamorphic Widescreen (1.78:1) transfer and an good Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono Sound. Watch for also Richard Lineback (Ready to Rumble) and Miguel A. Nunez Jr. (Scooby-Doo) in small parts. Screenplay by David Cohen, Martin Kitrosser (Friday the 13th Part 3-D) & Steinmann. From a story by Cohen & Kitrosser. Grade:B+.

Summary: Friday the 13th, Part V - A New Beginning
Review: This film was well okay.I liked how they went to the nut house and not the same old Camp Crystal Lake. The characters were pretty well brought out.It is one of those films that leave you with a stale taste in your mouth.(SPOILERS)I was so frecking confused towards the end when they said Jason wasn't really Jason, and some guy tried to make it look like Jason did it because some kid killed his fat chubby kid.Except for a few neat death scenes this is really nothing. So overall it was okay.Tommy, the young boy who finally killed hockey-masked murderer Jason Voorhees in Part 5, has grown up and is now spending time in a home for the mentally fragile. Not long after Tommy checks in though, someone starts killing the patients one-by-one. Has Tommy picked up where the legendary serial killer left off or has Jason come back from beyond the grave to kill again?(6/10)

Summary: Faux Jason Certainly Made Real Jason Proud.
Review: Many people did not like this Friday the 13th film because it did not involve Jason but who gives a F#@k what they think. This movie is suspenseful and has interesting death scenes. The movie starts off with 12-year-old Tommy Jarvis having a nightmare about Jason Voorhees coming back to life and killing two people. We then see 15 to16-year-old Tommy waking up in the car driving to a mental institution. After medical patient Vic kills other patient Joey a series of Jason style murders occur from hedge clippers to the eyes to being crushed with a leather strap and tree. The final scene is "Jason" chasing Pam and Reggie into a barn and Tommy coming through and saving the day by knocking "Jason" onto a bed of spikes. It turns out the killer was a man named Roy who was a paramedic. It turns out Roy was Joey's father and seeing his son's hacked up body pushed him over the edge. At the end Pam enters Tommy's hospital room and Tommy comes up from behind with a knife poised to kill her. Every website though says he didn't kill her because one, he was released to be in part 6 and two, it turned out to be a hallucination after having one about killing her before. This movie was one of the better ones because Roy is hidden in the shadows for the majority of the movie and he also makes Jason proud at one point when Reggie runs him over with a tractor, he's still able to get up and out run Pam and Reggie! Tommy is also very dark and menacing by having visions of Jason and beating up one of the patients after he wore one of his masks. It is also very suspenseful and has some shocking and bloody moments. For those of you looking for a good horror movie, rent Friday the 13th part V: A New Beginning.

Review: A movie sequal that had a pretty nice idea to it but falls way short of what could of been. Could of had better acting and script.
