Review: This is the best, scariest movie ever! A Nightmare on Elm Street is so cool how can anyone not like it. It's about Freddy Krueger (everybody knows who that is) and he is killing teenagers in their sleep because he was burned to death by their parents years ago. If you haven't seen it then where have you been. The first Nightmare movie that I saw was probably part 2 or 4. After I saw how good they were I decided to see this one and they don't even compare. In fact they suck. The only other good one in the series is part 3 and 7.

Review: this movie was good.Not great but it had a great plot and good acting for a horror flick.I recommend it to anyone who likes horror.The one thing that I did not like was the low death count. But It was saved by Freddie coming back in the end. That might keep you up at night.

Review: Ok This movie scared me so much in the 80's, heck it even scares me today. Just the thought of the only place where we thought we would be safe, (our dreams) being invaded by a horrific killer just creeps me out! FREDDY KRUEGER is definatly one of the most original characters to date!

Review: The first time i saw this movie was when i was 5-years old and it did not scare me at all...i just recently saw it again and i saw all of the stupid parts in it...it was a very cheesy movie,had alot of corny special effects in it. I liked Halloween better!!

Review: What's to say? The best horror movie with the best horror character (that is, of course, Freddy Krueger) and the best horror-movies director (Wes Craven). Actually, the best movies are Nightmare on Elm Street 1, 3 and 6, but this one is of course the best one to start with. The plot of the three movies are about a killer that kills teen-agers in their dreams, in order to take revenge of their parents, who killed him some time ago (for the complete story, you'd better watch the three movies I said). It's one of the few movies that really scared me, even though I don't get scared easly. Every horror-movies fan should watch this one, the best.

Summary: Character and script originality make Elm Street a classic
Review: With this movie began my love of horror. Robert Englund's twisted humor and evil appearance made "Nightmare on Elm Street" the 80's horror classic. I can't forget to mention Wes Craven's pyschotic imagination and stunning originality which have set the standard for supernatural slashers ever since. The sequels have all paled in comparison to the original with only Englund's presence giving them any attention. "Halloween" and "Friday the 13th" may have come first, but the character of Freddy Krueger makes Micheal Myers and Jason fade into the crowd of mindless slashers. Freddy is one of a kind and so is "Nightmare on Elm Street".

Review: I liked A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET it introduces us to one of the most meanacing villans of all time FREDDY KRUGER and what he does which I'm not going to give away just watch and find out. The only complaint I have about this scary thriller is that sometimes overdo's the gore you'll see what I mean when you see it. Anyway this movie is a heck'ava lot better than SCREAM I can't believe both had the same director. If you love being scared you'll love this all-time horror classic.

Review: This movie was the best movie of all time and it was the best movie of my time it had alot of competition. when I saw this movie I was scared to death but it was the kinda scared that made you want to keep watching. This movie is just what the people were looking for and it made us see how other people think. Now I see that kids aren't the only ones who have an imagination.
