Review: This is an great movie to watch if you really believe in witches and ghost. Got me shaken that's for sure. If you knew what really happen it sort of spoiled the whole story. Gives me the goose bumps just talking about it. Its okay I guess.

Review: This movie was very cool, I feel that the people who didn't like this type of film were a bit ignorant. The only way that you can really enjoy this film is to let your mind wonder. The Exorcist was a film that could no scare you by leaving the image of something in your head. This does not, it wants you to use your imagination. Imagine a woman who was hairy and tells kids to face the wall because she doesnt like them staring at them just before she kills them. IS THAT SCARY ENOUGH FOR YA?

Review: The Blair Witch Project is the most original movie ever made. It only has one problem; it was never meant for the masses. Those with a below average IQ will surely lose interest within 5 minutes. There's not a single minute in the film when you can tell they're acting.

Summary: Don't believe the hype
Review: This is a truly terrible film. No, really. Not a backlash against its success or anything but just a very bad film. I cannot understand how such a terrible film - three students with a shaky camera - get scared by twigs.It is not scary. It is not tense. It is not good. Please, do yourself a favour and don't bother. Is Hollywood that desperate to produce something "new" and "different" that it resorts to releasing a "demo" film. Don't be fooled by the low-budget tag the film has aquired, this does not disguise how bad it really is. Avoid.

Summary: Superbly relective, as good horror should be....
Review: The best horror makes us think about what we and the characters we've watched have been through, and TBWP is superb at this. What did the campers see? What did we see? Could it be that Heather was the Blair Witch herself? Was Josh in on things? Truly a magnificent exercise in intelligent horror.

Summary: Little House of Horrors
Review: I don't appreciate the fact that before this movie even began to surface, they were saying this was ACTUAL footage found frum ACTUAL real life students that were ACTUALLY still missing or perhaps murdered. That really peaked my interest in this film beyond comprehension, being a lover of real life docudramas ( of the dateline variety). When I found out it was all a hoax I was left with this sinking feeling inside, like I had just been bamboozled. Why on earth lie to people in order to promote a movie? That is very low. Animosities aside, I knew I would end up renting this thing. I understand the whole concept of what they were trying to accomplish. It is an "alternative" movie, seperating itself in the conventiality of the tradional genre of a film. It is very 1999, very now. What I got mostly frum Blair Witch was a sense of urgency, like if you put yourself in their hiking boots. You feel lost, isolated, afraid. It can have it's caustrophobic effects on you as well. As stupid as this may sound, there were also some aestetic moments in Blair Witch, like when it was raining and you could see the soft, dewy raindrops cascade against the pine trees. Is that giving this film too much credit or what? I felt connected with the characters throughout the film. By the end it felt as though I knew them and I did mildly care about what was happenening to them. This is exactly what I didn't want to happen though. The end is tragic and very disturbing. Only disturbing if you have (all together now)... AN IMAGINATION. That is the secret to this film, it plays with your imagination, if you have one. I will probably end up buying The Blair Witch Project, adding to it's grosses. I am so jealous of the directors!

Summary: PERFECT RECIPE FOR A THROBBING HEADACHE!
Review: I couldn't believe how the people behind the promotions of this trash could claim this is such a good film. I have made video-documentaries myself and based from the footages they've made, the only so-so significant part are the interviews, nothing else and there is not one good video documentary you can make out of those other footages. I have to admit that I was foolish enough to be lured to watch this film, it's worst than the films we have locally. Also, I would like to tell anyone who plans to watch this garbage, this is not even a horror movie, it didn't scare me a bit. What I got at the end of the movie were 1) a throbbing headache 2) an insignificant nightmare for thinking all those times after watching it how bad the movie was and 3) endless disappointments for having to spend on that worthless movie...hear me and deprive yourself of what I felt...!

Summary: A Landmark Film
Review: The Blair Witch Project is one of those films that you either love or hate. Ive heard people claim its the worst movie ever made, Ive heard people say its one of the best. A film doesnt have to be scary to be good, so people saying this are missing the point. As with all horror pictures the settings in which you watch have to be right. Its best to watch alone at home late at night with no breaks. If after following these guidelines you do not feel the tension or the horror or the despair there is frankly no hope for you. Ive seen every horror-type film over the years, and none has touched me more deeply than BWP. Even with all the hype the film received over here in the U.K I was still shocked by the film. It has one of the endings which I can say I will remember for the rest of my life, which is not true for other films of this type. A final word on the high quality of the DVD package. All the trailers present, a fantastic, insightful director/producer commentary and deleted scene (though a couple more would have been nice). All completed by stunning presentaion. Overall a landmark film which will stay in the mind forever and one which has also changed the cinema and film industry for good.

Summary: After seeing it, I couldn't sleep...
Review: Even before I saw the movie I knew almost everything about it. Still when I saw it, I couldn't help myself for feeling five years old, and completly get involved in what happened to the three students in this movie. The shaky camera, that showed what they saw, made it feel even more real. You are there with them. That is if you have a little fantasy, and give yourself to the movie. I consider myself to be a real horror-fan,I have seen the most, from Luci Fulci to Tobe Hoper, and the only movie that has scared me as much as "Blair Witch" is "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". And just as TCM, "Blair Witch" is about young people being in a place that they shouldn't be. The atmosphere is also the same, it feels as if you watching someone being murdured. The last 10 minutes of "Blair Witch" has haunted me for a couple of nights now. Brrr... See it, if you dare.

Review: I would have to say with all honesty this was indeed a movie first. This was the first movie I have ever watched that made me want to cut out my own eyes. The fact that I managed to stay awake for the whole thing has lowered my own opinion of myself. I waited and waited for the much anticipated scare. Yet it never came. If you viewed this film and were genuinely frightened by it, I am truly sorry. They do, however, have many institutions available to help you. You obviously have some issues to deal with. As for those of us that are normal, well adjusted, and intelligent individuals who live here in the real world. Don't waste your time. The bottom line is this was the worst film I have ever seen. I feel it will only cause you to question your own intellect and lower your bank account. If you have the money to burn then literally burn it. You'll at least get heat out of it.
