Summary: Wanna see something real scary?
Review: If you want to see something real scary, then this is not the film for you. The fact that we now know that it is not "real" basically killed the atmosphere of an otherwise okay film. I personally liked the film - but only because it was different. If you want a scary film, with a twist in the tale, go see the Sixth Sense.

Summary: a victim of the hype
Review: i regret to say that i was caught up in the totally unwarranted hype surrounding this movie and spent the money for a dvd . first , it was not frightening and second i found the almost incessant and gratuitous use of profanity to add nothing to the film's storyline , and in fact it detracted from the attempts to build tension and fear. surely , the actors vocabulary is not representative of others of that generation. this film could have been done a lot better while using the documentary type filming technique. SAVE YOUR MONEY

Summary: The thinking persons horror film
Review: Whether you like this film depends on how you watch movies. If your like me and get engrossed in the film plot and characters regardless of how good the film is, then you'll find this film an absolute stunner. True, the characters can be pretty annoying - but they're also realistic too which makes the plot all the more feasible. If you've got an imagination and can let yourself get dragged into the whole atmosphere of the film, then you can't lose with this. On the other hand if you need large explosions, gratuitous violence and massive budget FX to keep you happy then it's probably not for you.

Review: What a waste of time, money and film. This movie? has no redeeming features whatsoever. How can anyone find this drivel scary? (mind numbingly boring yes but not frightening in any way). It just proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the speed of 'hype' is faster than the speed of 'word of mouth'. AVOID

Summary: Wheres the Witch?
Review: I don't get it, how can you have a movie about a Witch but theres no Witch. Granted I was grossed out by the snot on the end of the girls nose but I would have liked to have had some other emotion.If this movie can make money, I'm thinking of making my own movie. Perhaps "The Salem Vampire Project" of course, don't hold your breath waiting for the Vampire to show up.

Review: This movie is not scary.It's about these three students who are making a documentary on the Blair Witch,a legend of a witch that liked to kill childern.Then when they loose their map around the woods, they get screwed.This film has excessive and graphic profanity.It would have a good plot but these people who made the film screwed it all up.This movie really sucks and it is a waste of twenty dollars.I suggest you not see it.

Review: After watching this with my 13 year old I had to convince him it wasn't real. It was good though to have the creeps and chills without all the blood and guts. Makes you wonder what ever happened to Josh though. Wouldn't recommend it to others

Summary: The movie was boring and the actors were the only good thing
Review: I am soory because i was all reved up to see a spine tinling of a film and what came out to be was a movie that was less scary than the chucky movies. The actos were good though, especially heather. My advice: Rent the movie first!

Review: Man, this movie scared the s**t outta me. I actually had to turn the light on to go to the bathroom later that night. Like some of the other reviewers have said, it's too bad that there are too many stupid people ready to knock this movie -- ya gotta stay awake through the whole movie to "get it." BTW, for all those geniuses who wonder whether this movie is real or not: THERE ARE 2 MINUTES OF CREDITS AT THE END OF THE MOVIE -- FIGURE IT OUT!
