Review: Other than the constant moving around od the camera, it wasn't too bad. It didn't really bother me all that much, but it sure bothered my girlfriend. If this documentary was made by actors, they did a great job in combining the two different films from the cameras to make it look real. Great job. I give it 4 stars ****

Review: Having read all the reviews below, as a horror movie fan, I have something to say. As a matter of fact, a basic requirement for truly appreciating horror movies is none other than imagination. If you constantly cling to special effects, if a horror means blood and thunder for you, if you are too lazy to use your head and hold such a seeing-is-believing formula towards a horror film, and if your IQ (by which I mean Imagination Quotient) is nearly zero, then this work of art is not for you so spare your unwisely swearing. I love The Exorcist, The Shining, and now I recommend The Blair Witch Project to everyone who enjoys those one-of-a-kind horror classics as well.

Summary: A Decent Film Student Project, but that's all.
Review: As an art project, not too bad. Everything fit in its place. However, the overall plot is over within ten minutes or so. The rest is all profanity, melodrama, and stereotypical horror movie mistakes. I had real trouble feeling anything for what is obviously a bunch of naive, reckless, incredibly ignorant, and stupid trio blundering about in the woods. Their lack of basic common sense completely disconnects any feeling I might have had for them. I didn't find it scary in the slightest, and couldn't help hoping their demise would be as slow and painful as they deserved. There was some suspense, but only from looking at my watch waiting for these annoying people to be killed off so I could leave with the rest of the people I went to see the movie with. The documentary feel to it was perhaps the only redeeming quality, and even then, the shaking of the camera prevented any clear idea of what was going on, or even what I was supposed to infer MIGHT be going on. Definitely over-hyped. A friend I saw it with said that he saw a different ending. It's possible that there were other versions released to different theaters. Maybe those were scary. A big disappointment. Stay home, wait for it on cable. It's not even worth a rent. As a Film Student project, it's an A+ for originality and execution. However, I was extremely annoyed to find that I had to pay full theatre price on what was obviously an unpolished film project when I could have spent that money on something more worthy of such cash. A friend put it best. "We're lost." "We're not lost." "We're f*ing lost." <Shake the camera around incoherently for 87 minutes> That'll be 7$ please. No Thank you.

Summary: Ending was bad
Review: As a horror movie lover, I did not find this film scary. However, I feel that it had the POTENTIAL to be good, but the ending was stupid. People in the theater were practically ready to demand their money back when they saw the ending. I know it was a low budget film, but they still could have come up with a better ending than that! Parts of the film were good, though. It was also nice to see unknown film makers get this successful. I'm sick of the big budget Hollywood films, and would like to see more of these types of movies beating them out at the box office.

Review: May sound silly but I think this movie made a lot of people with the "I can go any where nothing will happen to me, I'll be with 2 of my friends" reasoning have some second thoughts. A little fear that there is something unseen out there may help peope live longer. The safty of the carmera has been shattered forever. You knew something bad happened to them and kept waiting for the monster to jump out. Maybe this is where Hollywood slasher films should get some credit for schooling us in when we think something really frightening will happen in a movie. I KNOW I KEPT THINKING, IF ONLY I COULD FREEZE FRAME THIS MOVIE AND WATCH IT FRAME BY FRAME I'D CATCH WHO EVER OR WHAT EVER WAS OUT THERE! As if that would make it less scarry.

Review: This movie was scary because you the viewer made it scary. The demon or whatever you envisioned it to be was in your head. This movie was left up to your imagination thus even more frightening

Review: People who say this movie isn't scary have no imagination and deserve nothing but pity...Aside from the original NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, this is the most terrifying film I have ever seen. Who cares if the Witch can't be seen? People can't see death in the face, but they fear it anyway.

Review: This film is outright scary and packed full of thrills at every corner. I couldnt move from my seat from the fear that was running through me. Me and my date were completley scared out of our minds.

Review: I may have felt a slight uncomfortableness in the last few mminutes of the movie, but other than that the movie did not scare me in the slightest. It could be because I was concentrated on my nausia throughout most of the movie. Somebody please give me forty grand and a video camera I'd like to become a millionare movie maker by shooting home videos.
