If you want to be scared, and deeply psychologically shaken up, this is the film to watch. Read nothing more about it. Make a decision: Watch it, or don't watch it. Review: I RENTED THE MOVIE THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT A WEEK AGO AND I AM STILL VERY SCARED TO GO IN THE WOODS. THIS MOVIE MADE PERFECT SENSE OF CULTS AND DEVIL WORSHIPING HAPENINS IN THE WOODS... MY MYSELF I BELIEVE THAT THIS MOVIE WILL EFfECT EVERYONE IN ONE WAY.

Summary: extremely disappointing
Review: Blair Witch has just been released in British cinemas - I thought I'd go and see if it lived up to all the hype that has preceded it. It didn't. The beginning was slow, the middle was slower and the end was predictable. The only reason I didn't walk out part way through was because I was convinced that something exciting was going to happen. I even sat through the closing credits in the vain hope that there was more to come - just few minutes of hidden film, something which may offer the vaguest semblance of a plot twist, a short scene which would redeem the whole sorry film and make me feel like I hadn't just wasted £5. Needless to say, there wasn't. I had been more scared and disturbed by watching Disney's Tarzan a few days before, with it's scenes of people being hung, babies being murdered and women being savaged by wild animals...

Summary: A 2 Hour "ABC Afterschool Special" with Colorful Metaphors
Review: If you like previews of movies, this tape has at least 10 minutes or so on it. Infact they were more enjoyable than this movie. The movie, which I thought would be great, turned out to be a real disater. The movie all through the two hour period, was just three kids out in the woods cursing and screaming. The critics, claim "More Scarier than The Exorcist". Wrong, they must have gotten their notes backwards. The "Exorcist" was and is much more scarier then this film. Although their were two parts, that were kinda good, but they come towards the ending of the movie. And thats right TWO parts. Other then that, is just a few bumps in the night that set these children's imaginations wondering and get themselves running a muck. This to me, reminded me of the "ABC After school specials" but with "Colorful Metaphors" as a Vulcan once put it. The soundtrack, that was "found" as a cassette tape in Josh's car, right. Most of the groups on the soundtrack didn't exists until about a year ago. Just a hyped movie, trying to cash in on merchandies and video rentals. To sum it up, good movie to watch on the late show on tv when there is nothing at all else to do.

Summary: If you're expecting blood and guts you'll be disappointed
Review: One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I was sceptical beforehand, having heard about the hoax website etc. - Would I be able to suspend my disbelief? Once I got into it, I got into it just like any other movie - yet I would not say that this is like any other movie. The only word for it is 'chilling'. The scariest thing about it is what you don't see - in true Hitchcock style. The way in which it is done was, for me, a welcome change from the predictable Hollywood formula. If you are expecting blood and guts and sex, then you will be disappointed. If you are fed up with the predictable horror/thriller standard formula from Hollywood, then this is a must-see.

Review: I live in Australia, so it comes out at the movie theatres in December, but I am looking forward to it so much. I can't believe people out there are putting it down. Use your imagination, fools. Would you be so level-headed if it was you out there, in the middle of the bush?
