Summary: Good movie, left out good parts from book.....
Review: I must say the choice of actors during this film was perfect. However, there were some characters, where the directors got a little sketchy. I won't tell who. The film-makers definietly got across the vision of Pennywise(PERFECTLY), the psycho-killer, with humourus funny lines...hehee. They left out some good parts too, but you have to read the book to find out what exactly. I thought the acting was pretty good(for kids), and music was brilliant! The effects were so-so(it was made in 1990, remember that)......but there was one REALLY bad thing the directors did. I won't tell you find out.....

All in all, if you a person who doesn't have the time to read 1200 pages(reccommended by me), then see this movie. Or even better, read the book, then see the movie because the book isn't exactly the same.

Summary: great
Review: this movie wasnt too scary, but i still loved it.it has to be one of stephen king's best movie.most movies that are 3 hours long just have too many boring parts.this one didnt have any boring scenes

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Not bad, but does not do the book justice
Review: The movie is pretty good. It has some pretty good scenes and the actor who plays IT does a good job. Compared to the book, the movie over does the clown. In the movie IT always appears as the clown or changes to the clown soon after. In the book IT appears in about 20 different forms. The actor who plays Bill is terrible. The book is mostly what happens when they are kids, and the movie is the opposite. Please read the book first.

Summary: please don't compare
Review: O.K., for the last time : motion pictures DO NOT EQUAL books. Books are bigger effort & time investments that pay off big in intellectual terms. Motion pictures can't possibly capture the detail of a book, but they pay off by stimulating your senses in a way that a book can't. Like a Stephen King novel or don't, like a Stephen King movie or don't, but for God's sake QUIT TRYING TO COMPARE APPLES AND ORANGES.

Summary: Fine Performances in this T.V. Movie.
Review: The Best Thing about the T.V. Movies, it have Fine Performances from the Cast:Richard Thomas, John Ritter, Tim Reid, Annette O` Toole, Dennis Christopher, Harry Anderson, Johnathan Brandis, Seth Green and Tim Curry is Absolute Excellent in The Role of It or Pennywise The Clown. Good Acting from the Another Young cast.

Good Direction From Tommy Lee Wallace(Halloween 3:The Season Of Witch, Fright Night Part 2). The Director`s Best Film So far. He also work with Director-John Carpenter in a couple of films, Including-Halloween and The Fog.

My Only Complant of this T.V. Movie is the ending, I Expected a Better Battle between The Group Of Friends and Pennywise. Still is a Good T.V. Movie, Better Than Most Recently Ones. Almost all T.V. Films, Based on a Fine Novel By Stephen King. Grade:B+.

Summary: AHHHH!
Review: This is the most freakiest Stephen King film iv ever seen in my intire life. Its about a creature who makes every child's fear come true and no one can see this terror except for children. And 7 adults who fought this creature when they were 10-12 years old.My favorite actor is in it:Seth Green who plays young Richie. If you like Stephen King movies that will scare you id also recomend "Carrie" and "The Shinning".

Summary: AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHH!
Review: the movie is excellent. i get chills just thinking about it. don't listen to people who say it was low budget. i'm sure Mr King would agree with me when i say that its low budget is what gives it its scare appeal. Mr King was intelligent enough to keep his masterpiece out of Hollywood's destructive hands. they'd probably turn it into a "Scream 2 or 3", or WORSE "I Know What You Did Last Summer" (barf! ). i just love listening to people who say they weren't scared. (and for those of you who are now saying this idiot han't even read the book, I HAVE ! )

Summary: Great movie!
Review: I thought the movie was very close to the book. Not all in the book, anyone remembers the thing the kids did to bound in the book? I understands quite well why that wasn't in the movie...Anyway, it had it's scary moments, and was a great thriller. YOU DIE IF YOU TRY!

Summary: Why does everyone pick on the ending?
Review: Look obviously most of you have not read the book. The ending in the movie is the same as the ending in the book. They face a giant spider who is capable of shape shifting. And for those of you who think this movie is good, GET REAL! If you want intense characterization, READ THE BOOK! This TV-movie DOES NOT do this movie justice. You get better insights to all the characters in the book. There are things in the book that are not even mentioned in the movie that will scare the socks of you. For scare quality, the book scares you more than this movie. The movie is comical. Tim Curry was the only thing worthwhile in it. It did have a good cast, but you do not get the deep insights to the characters that the book gives you. So people, please read the book. You'll see why this movie is AWFUL! A note to Stephen King: Please stop allowing your books to be made into movies, unless they do it page by page and are at least 10 hours long!
