Summary: Excellent
Review: I purchased the DVD last night without ever having seen or heard anything about the movie. What a great buy (although the previews were annoying). This is a very thought provoking movie. It is definitely not for people that don't want to think.

Summary: Watch the movie before reading the reviews
Review: This was an INCREDIBLE movie that had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning. Please don't read the reviews below these as some of them give away a wonderful plot twist. While the movie is awesome even knowing the twist, you will feel cheated. Unfortunately, some people are morons who like to try and spoil things. Watch the movie, then the extra features, then the reviews. You'll be glad you did it in that order. by the way, you cant 'skip' the previews, but you can fast forward thru them.

Summary: THIS MOVIE WILL RENDER YOU RIVETTED TO THE SCREEN
Review: First of all, let me say that the Sixth Sense is is not your ordinary, everyday supernatural thriller! This movie, about a caring child psychologist trying to help a little boy with an incredibly haunting probem, is so unique, so one-of-kind, that if you haven't seen it yet, you are really missing out, and here's why: The writing is intelligent, the acting is superb (it's nice to see Bruce Willis in some more sensitive roles) and the eerie sound effects are bone-chilling! This movie is so mesmerizing it could practically be labeled hypnotic! The suspense factor is amazing; literally keeping you perched on the edge of your seat the entire time! A word of warning, though: BE PREPARED TO JUMP OUT OF THAT SEAT YOU'RE PERCHED ON! This movie REALLY tests your startle reflexes, and the surprise ending is guarranteed to SHOCK you! (The DVD extras and interviews are interesting as well; but only view them AFTER viewing the movie). My opinion? The Sixth Sense is DEFINITELY worth adding to your movie or DVD collection, and allow me to add just one more word of advice: DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE ALONE!

Summary: 8 minutes of previews
Review: Every time you watch this DVD you are forced to sit through 8 minutes of movie previews. Some of which have already made it in and out of the theaters. You are not even given the option to skip them. What a way to ruin a great movie!

Summary: great movie/stop complaining about the dvd movie trailers
Review: After reading a few reviews about the excess movie trailers, I wanted to alert those who wish to skip them to hit the track skip button on their remote. Each click takes you to the next preview. 5 or 6 clicks gets you to the main feature. With all the hype I heard of this film it's one of the few that was not a let down. If you haven't seen it yet stop reading and get it. The less you know the more you will enjoy it.

Summary: One of the best.
Review: I was one of the estimated three people in the United States who didn't go to the theater and watch The Sixth Sense. But what with all of the hype, I bought it when it came out; and all the hype was not overrated. A very good story, and pretty scary without the use of special-affects. (it gets good points just for that) Bruce Willis did a great job as his character as a child psychologist. Coining the phrase, "I See Dead People," Oscar-nominated Haley Joel Osment was what made the movie. Arguably one of the best child (and even adult) actors to grace the silver screen on a long time. And plus it has a great ending.

The DVD itself has some good extras. A few deleted scenes well worth the time it takes to watch them, and commentary by writer/director M. Night Shyamalan which is very interesting. The only downside of it is that there is coming-attractions at the beginning which can't be skipped through... And they last, what seems like, three years. Which is kind of a pain, since every time you want to watch it, you also have to watch these. But, that aside, a wonder DVD and a spectacular movie. Buy it as soon as you can.

Summary: good movie
Review: The sixth sense was a good movie. The problem is that all my friends told me that this movie had a suprising ending so i tried to find the ending and unfortunatly i found it 10 minutes after the movie had started so that ruined a little bit of my fun but other than that i really liked the movie, it was entertaining and was probably bruce Willis' best performance. I must admite that if you are looking for a similar type of movie, Stir of echoes is better.

Summary: Should have had Best Picture 1999
Review: If there were only a way to "impeach" a supposed "best-picture" acaedemy-award winner and give it to a more deserving film. I think this film deserved it much much more than "American Beauty". Best film I've seen in a while!

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Over rated and hyped for nothing
Review: Don't get me wrong, it was a fairly good movie, but in no way did it deserve the hype it received. It was rather slow moving and the surprise ending does not really justify the many scenes preceeding it. If you want a good action suspense/horror, check out Stigmata.

Summary: This Film Makes Sense!
Review: I had waited a long time to see this film and it was by far the best film of the year, (It wiped the floor with The Phantom Menace). The acting of Haley was brilliant and Bruce was amazing aswell. The twist at the end of the film makes the whole film seem so much better and ties the whole film together. The direction of the film was truly and I mean truly superbly amazing, the clues that were placed throughout the film and the established rules that were made was truly incredible and helped spiral the film into the all time Hall Of Fame for true and real masterpieces. The Sixth Sense, if you don`t get it: "Out of the depths, I cry to you O Lord."
