Review: A great director's cut of this classic Texas Chainsaw Massacre satire. For those who take this movie too seriousley and are offended...It was meant to be exactley that. A satire. There's some great commentary by director Charles Kaufman included also. A must for all Mother's Day fans out there!

Review: Hey, I like good exploitation as much as anyone, but MOTHER'S DAY misses the mark ... It's almost as if you are watching that "Ernest Goes To ..." character from a few years ago chasing girls around ... In fact, it's two Ernest characters ... If you are into odd late 70's / early 80's horror / slasher films, try TOURIST TRAP or MY BLOODY VALENTINE instead ....

Summary: Troma's Finest
Review: I had the privaledge of seeing this Troma in a theater . I was 13 visiting my Aunt in Wharton Texas , a small town , my sis and I were the only 2 people there to see the movie . Twenty years later I recommended it to a Troma collecter , we watched this movie together and we both agree that it is one of Troma's best ever made.I like to catch mistakes and the best one in this movie is in Mother's car when she is giving the Ugly looking couple a ride and her car stalls . If you look at the blonde girl in the front seat she is wearing a yellow blouse and when her boyfriend in the back seat gets his head cut off , right before he is beheaded she already has splattered blood all over her blouse . The beating of that same chick was pretty brutal . I liked this movie , what do expect for a Troma ?

Review: I have seen this movie several times, the special FX are nothing more than [junk], the storyline is tolerable, and the acting is ridiculous. All in all a wonderful "B" Flick to sit down and sink your teeth into. Any reviewer that feels this movie has to be analysed to be death has too much time on his hands. This movie is what it is and that's all!! Just enjoy it for that simple reason.
I have enjoyed this movie for many years and will continue to enjoy it for many to come. I am still trying to get my hands on the unrated widescreen version (if there is one...)(fingers crossed!!).

Review: I saw this film in its theatre release. I have never viewed any movie with more gratuitous violence. The plot was meant to deliver suspense, when all the viewer gets is more senseless violence. The 2 male lead actors are repulsive morons who kidnap 2 young women, for the sole purpose of tieing them up and repeatedly raping them -- all to the apparent delight of their elderly (yet no less deranged) mother. Eventually the victims turn tables on their captors. What a wonderful Mother's Day present! Disgusting and sick. This film is an embarrasment to the industry!

Summary: Who's Kidding Who
Review: I saw this move when it came out. It is one of the worst I have ever seen. One review said that the special effects were pretty good. The one that stands out is one of the brothers spewing alka-seltzer foam after getting a television smashed over his head. This is a 5 star movie? I don't think so, unless "THE BIG BUS" is an Oscar contender.

Summary: Slahers be afraid, be very afraid
Review: I truely enjoyed this film. This is one of the few slasher films that really has a biting commentary on American values. The Murder/Rapist are disgusting swine, and the victims REALLy turn the tables on the evil creeps. It has thrills and chills galore. It starts out like a typical "Friday the 13th" and "Maniac" type film, and after the atrostities it gets really swell. It was quite a shocker in the slasher film genre. Big blades up from this reviewer.
