Review: -Where is Transylvania anyway?
-I don't know. It's over there somewhere.
-Oh great, "over there somethere"

This movie has some of the greatest lines ever!!! You will find yourself quoting it all the time.

Summary: great flick!!
Review: After reading a bunch of Leonard Maltin's reviews, i can only come to the conclusion that this man has no sense of humour. This movie is not 'un' funny at all. Yeah it is stupid, but so are most comdey movies. It is a great, monster spoof with some really great actors, including michael richards, carol cane, ed begley, jeff goldblum and gina davis. i'm hoping for it to be released on dvd. rent this and enjoy it!

Summary: This is a great Friday night movie!
Review: Although this movie will never make it onto many people's "Top Ten" list of best movies ever made, I must confess that I love it! It's goofy, entertaining, and perfect for a late Friday night when there's nothing good on the tube.I find Jeff Goldblum and Ed Begley, Jr. to both be amusing in their portrayal of tabloid journalists. Radu and his wife Lupi (played by John Byner and the wonderful Carol Kane) are two of my favorites, as the castle butler and maid. A fun time awaits you in Transylvania!!

Summary: öhhhh!!!
Review: I can't really explain the feeling i got trying to see through this movie (i've tried three times, DVD version)but it's probable the worst movie I have ever seen, and I have seen alot of those.

Michael Richards (aka Kramer from Seinfeld) is the most annoying character I have éver encountered in a movie (I usually love him as kramer in Seinfeld). Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis are in this "comedy-horror flick" an exellent example of how bad acting can be if the actors are not in a good mood...

Do Not See This Film,,, just a kind warning.

Summary: Don't say I didn't warn you
Review: I figure I can score big karma points if I can warn at least one person away from Transylvania 6-5000. It's not just that the film isn't funny. For long stretches it doesn't even seem to be TRYING to be funny. No doubt the huge commercial success of the vastly superior Young Frankenstein led to the greenlighting of this less-than-inspired horror "spoof." The irony is that director Rudy DeLuca is an associate of Mel Brooks. Good cast, but even Jeff Goldblum and Joseph Bologna can't salvage material this weak. Anyone who says this film is funny is: A. Tripping; B. Insane; C. Not a particularly discriminating viewer, to put it mildly, and would probably laugh just as hard at Full House reruns or Bazooka Joe comics. Trust me on this one.

Summary: Proving Once Again That Jeff's Best Work Was In the 80's
Review: I saw this movie at a theater back when it came out and walked out before it finished, it was that bad. It was not funny, the production is cheaply done - static cameras, bad lighting. The acting is not good, and there is no story or humor.

I know you're thinking different people like different movies and this just wasn't my cup of tea, but it is more than that. The feeling I got was that it was like they finished up the movie, then tossed it and taped together what was left on the cutting room floor and released that instead. Nothing held together, and it looked terrible.

Watch at your own risk.
