Summary: A fun, easy to watch sci-fi flick!
Review: I have been watching this movie on t.v. everytime it comes on. I've always liked it. I decided to get the DVD, and I love it! It gives you an alternative ending, gives you insight on how the movie was made. I'm not a technical buff, so I can't recite technical terms and buzz words. I can only say it is a light, easy to watch movie that is very well made. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, has some wonderful actors, and not a whole lot of gore or foul language, two features that seem to be the modern way of film making these days. Films today seem to be short on story and long on shock value. I don't think this movie is too intense for the younger set, either. A good pizza or popcorn movie!

Summary: Very funny
Review: Great funny movie, cast is great, acting as well (though the girl in the movie could be better). the other tremors movies aren't quite as good in my view, but i think still worth seeing.

Summary: defy the monster movie genre!
Review: It's a battle of wits; who's funniest in handling the situation? The take-what-comes-at-ya, strong people. The characters, including the creature, defy the monster movie genre. The human-monster war element is removed; the monster is minding its own business, and nobody will necessarily come out on top in this battle of wits. The creature does have wits; who'd a thunk the monster would have a sense of humor?

Summary: Cut from the same cloth as "Ghostbusters"
Review: This movie isn't horror. It's a comedy that makes fun of horror movies. It has the same mix of humor and action that made "Ghostbusters" so popular, but with much more gratuitous worm guts being splattered all over our heroes. Popular enough among its fans to inspire two sequels and an upcoming TV SERIES on the Sci-Fi channel, but obscure enough for its fans to consider themselves special, this is something you gotta watch. The paranoid gun freak totally steals the show, and was so funny that he held the lead role in T3!

Humor, senseless violence, and supreme cheesiness - the perfect way to spend an hour or two.

Summary: One of the All Time Best Horror Movies
Review: This movie accomplishes what few can do, to be both very funny and very scary. The cast of the movie is small but exemplary. Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon have a wonderful chemstry together as two handymen trying to make a living in a town of fourteen people. This is a movie that you can watch over and over. It doesn't matter how many times you see it, it's still funny where it's supposed to be funny, and it still manages to put you on the edge of your seat during the suspenseful parts. The language is pretty salty if you've got kids (it's heavily dubbed when it's shown on television), although the two sequels toned down the language. Otherwise, the violence is mostly implied; this movie is not a gorefest.

This is a movie you should not miss!!

Summary: Tremors: More Humor Than Horor
Review: This is one of my favorite movies because it is so darn funny.
For those that generally shun horror movies give this one a look it's really not that horrible. For one thing you really only see the monsters now and then though you hear them and see the results of them burrowing around after people.

I generally shy away from depicting scenes in reviews too often but here is an example of one time the monsters make an appearance. Michael Gross and Reba McEntire play a survivalist couple Burt and Heather Gummer. They are in their basement breaking out the guns from the gun cabinet when one of the monsters bursts in upon them. While this is going on Kevin Bacon and the others are listening to the fight over the radio from a rooftop and a ferocious gun battle ensues. Long story short the monsters loose that match up.

After they kill the creature one of the guys hold out on the roof turns to the other and says "Well I guess we can't make fun of Burt's lifestyle no more".

Anyways that's just one scene so I haven't given much away to be honest but it's really a much more amusing than a scary movie and I recommend it.

Summary: trembly
Review: trmours was a great film. the hilariously bad one-liners, combined with the horrible acting (by some people), mixed with the failed attempts to scare me into watching the rest of the movie really made it worth watching. I doubt that you'll find a movie that will make you laugh harder. Where Ghostbusters got stupid, Tremors keeps on truckin'. no explanations, no nothing, and the girl didn't even get naked! This is definately a flick to watch with a group of guy buddies, or to snuggle up to with your girl. I'd've given it 5 stars if the girl had been hotter. she looked like a ... porn star, though, so i had to take off 2 stars from this C-Movie. enjoy!

Summary: dreamy worms....
Review: there are better horror/comedy movies....they just haven't been MADE yet!!!!! right now, this is one of the
"untouchables" , a classic of all time. ok, so it's a JAWS ripoff.... "underground GodD--m monsters!" it still
delivers plenty of thrills, chills and mixes in some "i-hate-you-but-you're-my-best-friend" buddy humor.
it's certainly the most entertaining movie about geological studies.
where'd these things come from? why show up now? WHO CARES?!! grab your munchies and enjoy!

Summary: Gulp!
Review: Yep it's daybreak and the Garboids want to have Kevin Bacon for breakfast. Then suck down some sheep like you would suck an egg. These creatures will worm their way into your hart and wrap their way around your axle.

This is a fun movie with all the standard horror elements including lots of "don't move", and one element that was not expected "Reba McEntire" with a huge gun. This movie is worth re-watching.

Summary: ...So Bad It's Good!
Review: If you like cheesy horror movies, Tremors may be for you. But if you are looking for originality, I doubt you'll be impressed. Still, the actors do a reasonably good job and there are moments of shining comedy, such as the pole vaulting scene and the one where the aging couple kills a giant subterranean monster with nothing but firearms (way to go!). Still, I really don't like it when they portray all beastly animals as evil.

As usual, Kevin Bacon saves the day with his naughty-but-nice personality, ladies-man charisma, and heroic deeds in character.
