Summary: I grow Highly Impatient with Waiting.
Review: I can't believe that Artisan Entertainment would leave us hanging with no word as to the release of the second season. I have heard many rumors about release dates, prices, I have even heard that only HALF of the second season will be released, and then the second half at a later date. But even with all of this "information" I am still as in the dark as I was before I started asking question.

No one has definite answers, or information. The only response I get is to call the company who produces the set, which is Artisan Entertainment, which I have decided to do. So I urge all of you Twin Peaks fans to do the same. <...I am sure if enough angry people Email them, some good will happen of it. If nothing else we will at least receive information as to the release of the set, and hopefully pricing, etc.

Come on Twin Peakers, lets all band together and show Artisan that we want our Twin Peaks, AND WE WANT IT NOW.

Summary: Maybe this month??
Review: SO the two posts referencing Cinema Store, UK both had the release date for the season 2 DVD set listed as November. Just curious if anyone has new information or if it's foolish to be hoping for it by Christmas. I would've e-mailed Artisan but their website (judging by the 'Coming Soon' section) looks like it hasn't been updated in two to three years. Serenity now...

Summary: Even Lynch would not condone such torture!!!
Review: I somehow managed to miss Twin Peaks the first time round, but then three years ago I had the chance to see the whole lot! To this day, and I imagine forever more, this is the best thing I have ever watched!!! As technology evolves, so must we, which is why Twin peaks MUST be released on DVD in its entirety!!! To have released the first series, and for us fans to still be waiting a year later for the second, is just inhumane!!! This DVD is a MUST buy!!! I remain eternally bewitched by this series and perpetually tormented, while I await the arrival of the second series on DVD!!!

Summary: news from the cinema store
Review: After sending a query to The Cinema Store asking about the release date for the second season I received the following response:

First six episodes of Twin Peaks, Season 2, is coming out at some point in November. Second half - in April next year. Who ever posted our details over at Amazon.com? We get too many queries regarding TP 2nd Series. Maybe you can spread the word for us?
Sincerely,
The Cinema Store

Summary: Twin Peaks Second Season
Review: Well, when it aired, they withheld the last six episodes -- and folks had to send naked Barbie dolls wrapped in plastic and logs and donuts to Robert Iger, the network big wig. Now it looks like we have to picket to get those episodes on DVD. What gives? Haven't we already proven that Twin Peaks fans are devoted, if not rabid? Why is it that a billion copies of Dumb & Dumber can't get to DVD fast enough, while something as masterful as Twin Peaks languishes in pre-production yet again? Listen, not everyone is an idiot out here in audience land. Some of us occasionally enjoy something intellectual. SEND US TWIN PEAKS, SEND US THE SECOND SEASON ALREADY, or you can bet I'll be slaying Barbies and shipping them with logs to somebody.

Review: The first episode of the second season and the last episode of the series are probably the finest few hours that have ever been broadcast on television.

Summary: A new fan that is wanting more!
Review: I was only 6 when "Twin Peaks," first aired on TV. I remember hearing alot about it, but not knowing what the ...it was about. Then, a friend of mine introduced me to the first season and I was hooked. I watched all 7 episode of the first season on DVD last night and I crave more.

This second season, however they chose, needs to be released post-haist. I keep reading about Lodges and characters I know nothing about, and I'm salavating. So, please, Artisan Entertainment, HURRY!

Summary: Twin Peaks Season Two
Review: According to THE CINEMA STORE, london, Twin Peaks The Second Season will be released in two parts; both in region 1 box sets similar to season one as well as containing similar special features to season one. The first eleven episodes will be released in November and followed by the remaining episodes in march/april time. I will of course be one of the first to pre-order from amazon.com.

Summary: Preorder now, Lynch commands it!
Review: If this title were only half as good as the season 1 DVD set, I would glady shell out whatever price asked for it. For those of you who haven't had the joy of seeing the season 1 DVD set, it had the first season episodes (Obviously!) with picture never seen when the show aired, and incredible sound! (And let me tell you after having to watch the episodes on the first boxed set of all the episodes, this DVD is far better by leaps and bounds!)

Hopefully the season 2 DVD will have an interview with David Lynch himself. He is a very reserved and shy man, who is not real big on interviews. Hopefuly he will grace us with one on the next DVD set.

And I eagerly look forward to any other special features that will come with the season 2 set. I can easily say that this combined with the season 1 set, has easily changed the face of the earth. Twin Peaks was, and still is, the best television show to ever grace the world. David Lynch is a true genius!
