Summary: Alot more than I expected!
Review: I love surprises and this movie was a big one I took a chance basically becouse I wanted some good KUng Fu but I have almost all other Fu flix so i got to digging around in the store and this movie just stood out from its packaging looking good with cantonese DTS or 5.1DD(same for English and it is widescreen so I guessed I would try it.There are great movies out there you never hear of, this is one of them. Its a large Samurai/Kung Fu Action Epic.Everything is gigantic in this movie, example there is a fight scene where two guys face off on a giant mountain peak.Or fights in a large jungle or village always with large sweeping camera angles witch is so perfect for this movie. Also the costumes and makeup are outstanding. The fights are also great. The performances in this movie is what really did it for me they are all terrific especially Elvis Tsui who plays a drunken munk which is really great, this might be a bit of a stretch but his performance reminded me alot of Mifune the legendary Japanese actor who did movies like ,seven samurai, yojimbo, hidden fortress, and Throne of blood you probaly know who i mean if not watch his films.Anyway this film is great I highly recommend it! Oh yeh the picture is pretty darn good and its audio is your choice with either Enlish OR Cantonese 5.1 DD or also Cantonese DTS,With Eng.Subtitles
