Summary: absolutly exellent Film, first class perfomance
Review: my thoughts on this film is pretty much said above the film is top of the range and I thought both travolta and cage played a first class role, and off course, Ive got the video I hope to see a " face off 2 " of some kind,possibly more of Castor/pollux Troys family, maybe cousins or more brothers.

Review: This is what action was meant to be. Nicholas Cage and John Travolta were outstanding. John Woo is an amazing director. The plot was intriguing, the acting was superb, and the action sequences were amazing.

Summary: More visually stunning than violent
Review: I usually stay far away from mindlessly violent movies. Although it's kind of a Terminator II where a former villian acts like the hero, it is really beautifully photographed. The film is very stylized and I have to say that Nicolas Cages' outfits in the beginning were some of the best villian's costumes I've seen on a man while being very masculine. I thought I'd be squeamish when they exchanged faces but it actually wasn't that bad. Actually, no worse than the scene in Terminator where he repairs himself. It was more fascinating. It makes you wonder, could we someday get to that point where we could do face transplants?

Review: Before I saw Matrix, this movie was my personal number 1 gunfighting film, which is why it deserves 5 stars. If you like this, go see Matrix. Now. Also, by default, putting Nicolas Cage in a movie gives it 3 stars.

Review: Don't miss this film! It filled with action, but it's not dumb action -- there's a smart story (with a somewhat ludicrous face-swapping twist) that will keep you glued to the screen at all times. And there's enough action to keep you at the edge of your seat.

Summary: This is absolutely one of the best films of its genre.
Review: Perhaps the greatest action movie ever to grace the silver screen, everything about this movie perfect. The acting, the direction, the brilliant action scenes will leave you breathless. Aside from "The Killer" this John Woo's next best movie. One thing that was uneccessary was all the profanity, all though in some parts, it was put to good use. Other than that, this is an excellent film that everyone will definetely enjoy.

Summary: Awesome! One of Cage's all time best
Review: This was one of Cage's all time best movies. He did an extrodinary job mocking Travolta's moves as did Travolta mocking Cage's moves throughout the whole movie. If you've seen any Cage movies you would love this one. If you haven't, you're in for a for the irde of your life.I recommend this movie to any one who likes a fast-paced, mind boggling adventure.

Summary: Best of John Woo's American work yet.
Review: This movie is a step up from other Hollywood action movies. Thanks to John Woo's brilliant directing and editing, this film gives you countless action offered at a brutal rate while remain stylish. It's a definite masterpiece and shall be enjoyed by anyone. I'm a Chinese, so I have seen many John Woo's movies in my time, my most favorite one of all is Hard Boiled, and Face/Off definitely ranks with it. So I give a thumbs up to the crew who worked on this film and I hope that John Woo will work hard to bring us more action flicks like this.

Review: As a 22 year old woman I must admit I become bored with having to watch the same type of action films again and again to keep my man happy.But guess what!I enjoyed this one more than him!Cage and Travolta are both fantastic and believable.You really do feel for the characters.The soundtrack works fantastically well too.

Summary: Well-Directed, Interesting Plot.
Review: Face/Off is an excellent amoral action thriller, but it just depressed me. A very original plot, and over 2 hours long, Face/Off however is a refreshing suprise to those who enjoy mindless violence with clever plot twists.Face/Off's low points are mainly it's lack of realism. For one thing, it's near impossible to do a trans-face graph in that short period of time, if at all. Also, Face/Off gives the viewer a very strong feeling of the world as a callous, modern but civil place. Since the gun-fights are obviously aren't very real (A 30.mm cannon blast will not throw you 5 feet through the air, much less a shotgun), the lack of gun realism dropped a lot of charisma from the action.
