Rating: Summary: ......................CONCENTWATE........................... Review: Bruce Lee created fight scenes that make you hate blinking.
Enter The Dragon not only showed Bruce's finest talents, but also showed Hollywood what a real action movie could be.
Instead of writing a huge summary, ANYONE who has not seen this needs to purchase this movie right away. It is one of the most important films ever made and the place to start as a new student of Lee's.
Rating: Summary: a legendary film Review: enter the dragon was bruce lees first big budget hollywood film and sadly the only one cause he died a few weeks after it was finished and never got to see how much people loved it during filming of enter the dragon he would pass out during some of the final scenes in the room of mirrors and he would go home and take pain pills and he told some friends he had nightmares that he would die soon so he went and had a lightning rod put on his house(in asian culture it wards off demons) and oddly enough it had blown off in a storm just days before his death anyway in enter the dragon us agents want bruce lee to penetrate an island fortress thats producing opium and stop the evil bad guy the only way he can get there is by accepting an invitation to a fighting tournament they hold there so he sets off to stop the evil badguy this movie has some incredible martial arts like bruce lee using the nunchukus so fast they had to refilm the scene 3 times and bruce lee really getting mad at an actor on the set who was jealous of him and he decided to really kick him in the scene and he kicks the guy so hard the man catching him breaks his arm this entire movie has a kind of magic in the air you really sense coming death in this film and you really sense this guy was special he isa legend and if alive today he would have adapted like he always did and mastered ground fighting i get tired of hearing hewas great for his time but todays fighters would take him to the ground such statements prove you fail to realise why brucelee was great his endless search for knowledge he had mastered almost every form of martial arts back then if defeated by an enemy he would learn his style comeback and defeat him brucelee was also a golden glove boxing champion and could benchpress 260 pounds and he weighed 130 he would do 200 1 handed pushups a day and a 1000 situps before his death he was breaking concrete bricks with his finger tips bruce lee to me is the greatest martial artist alltime hes the legend
Rating: Summary: I like this movie Review: This movie was the best brucelee flim I ever watch. Its better
then the other lee films I watch. This movie was a master piece.
It is a action packed movie. If you want a good movie with
action you want this film.
Rating: Summary: Bruce was the best! Review: This movie shows Bruce Lee in top fighting form and also reminds me that he was a fine actor as well. The man actually had total muscle control and that even shows up in his facial expressions and speech. The movie itself isn't fantastic but by comparison (to any other martial arts film of the time) it's pretty good. The fight scenes are credible and I don't recall any glowing hands, jumping over houses or anyone clear cutting forests with his head. Some of the cinematography is very interesting too and I'm glad others noticed the similarity to the old James Bond flicks. I think the musical score has something to do with that.
Seeing this movie again makes me wonder what Bruce Lee could have done if he had stayed with us. He was truly remarkable and seemed to be getting better all the time.
Rating: Summary: Great, but... Review: I think that all Bruce Lee films are the greatest. I like Hong Kong films and think that despite the cheesy technique and storylines, they are so bad that they're good.
Now that I've told you that much, you'll trust my judgement when I say that this movie screwed itself out of a five star rating. It's because all Bruce Lee and most Hong Kong movies, have nudity. It's usually sexual too! I don't see why they have to be so perverted and add some nude woman!
In this movie in preticular, the nudity is that when the fighters go to the tournament, they get these hookers to go to the rooms. Each of the men get one, but Bruce of course is too cool for any play, and he declines. But it shows the other fighters with their women, and it shows a couple women's breasts, and some bare butts.
Other than that, this movie is great! But it just sort of ruins the story when they do that.
Rating: Summary: The Best!! Review: Simply the best martial arts film ever made! Bruce was on fire in this film..Watch the opening sequence in which he spars with Sammo Hung..yes Sammo..a very young Sammo...Bruce was in the finest shape of his life..a quintessential fighter who demonstrates an incredible skill! I love and own this movie and never get tired of watching it..I can only imagine where Bruce's career would have gone if he had not died at such a young age..He would have made many more fine films I'm sure!
