Summary: What tripe
Review: This is one of the worst movies that I have ever seen compounded by the overuse of closeup views and garish lighting.

Summary: Brilliant Exercise in Low Budget Gay Cinema
Review: This film should be used as a text book example of the kind of power that can be achieved in film without a great deal of money. The themes of this film are universal, but are told in a fresh and exciting way. What, a gay film with no mention of AIDS, self hatred, or Drag Queens? Yes, this is it - hallelujah! The actors, especially the couple - RT Lee and Greyson Dayne, are just spot-on perfect. The director, Quentin Lee, is surely one to watch in the future. He has a unique and interesting voice that is a welcomed change from the standard mainstream offerings.

Summary: Very refreshing and real look at Gay relationships.....
Review: This was a bright refreshing love/life film that you would expect to be made by straight America. However, it happens to be about a group of gay men. I thoroughly enjoyed this film.
It's primary storyline is about an aspiring screenwriter that considers breaking up with his current lover of 3 years to pursue a man who may be a better match.

The interesting part of this film is Quentin Lee (the writer, director and producer) poses multiple possible outcomes to this romantic triangle, and explores them in a film that takes several narrative twists and turns.

This is an extraordinary work of intellectual maturity and emotional depth, this no-budget DV feature is a stunning celebration of the power of independent cinema when wielded by those who know how to harness its full potential.

You will be left with did he get the better match, go back to his current lover, or did he not get either and moved on. This movie lets you see all 3 possibilities and determine what happens in the future.

I highly recommend this movie. I look forward to seeing other movies by Quentin Lee.

Summary: Haunting!
Review: This movie truly has something profound to say about life, love, and the way we make random (and not so random choices). It's simplicity is incredibly refreshing and I find myself continuing to think about the film days after I watched it on DVD. Bravo to director and cast for really going out on a limb to make a piece of art that will probably not appeal to masses, but will absolutely touch people with a real heart, mind and soul. Thanks you. FIVE STARS...

Summary: What a lovely ride
Review: People tend to think our lives are determined by the choices we make. The truth of the matter is our lives are determined by the choices we refuse to make.

Have you ever wondered what your life would be like if you had changed one conversation or turned left instead of right? This movie take us on that journey. Ryan who has been in a relationship with Joel for three years and is very much in love with him one night meets Leo at a party. And his preception of what his life is supposed to be changes. This one encounter, one hour long convgersation brings about a chain of events that sends Ryan, Joel, and Leo down the path of what if.

Three different tales unfold as to how things could work themselves out. How changing one thing, one piece of the puzzle sends you down roads you never would have gone down other wise. Ryan finds that not everything is as he wants it to be, but by finding this out he learns who the true love of his life is.

Sometimes finding out where you are is more important than who you end up with.....

Summary: Please do yourself a favor and skip this movie
Review: I feel bad not recommending this movie, but it just was not good. The director had great initiative in creating the movie, but this movie is a film student attempt at best. No one can act at all, there are no characters who you fall in love with/hate, they had no personalities whatsoever. It just is a shallow movie attempting to further stereotype a gay "relasionship" I feel sorry for the director in revealing how inexperienced he is by making this movie - not only in his filmmaking skills, but also in his own life. There are so many GREAT gay flavored films (LIE, Pillow Book, Happy Together, Lola & Billy the Kid... the list goes on...) Unfortunately, this is not one of them.

Summary: Rare emotional depth & subtlety
Review: While yet a young man still gaining experience through his own relationships, Quentin Lee has managed to produce a drama that explores the many subtleties and conflicting possibilities of relationships with the insight of someone twice his age. As an older gay male in a long-term committed relationship, I particularly appreciated Lee's mature take on the interplay between every young gay man's deep desire for a "perfect" relationship and the (maturer) realization that (perhaps) perfection lies in working on one's existing relationship. Yet--another sign of the film's maturity--this conclusion is not dictated, but merely suggested as one of several possible outcomes. As others have noted, the film is slow at first to engage the viewer, but once it does it will leave a lasting impression.

Summary: Starts slow but gets good!
Review: I wasn't sure about this one at first. It starts out pretty talky and it looks very low budget, like a documentary. Then about a third of the way through the story shifts and it becomes totally fun to watch and impossible to predict. I've never seen the 3 lead guys before, but they were super...all very unique and interesting performers. Writing is sharp with a good dose of humor. Loved all the shots of Los Angeles. I only wish the DVD had a running commentary by the director, though, because I would love to know more about this film. I would recommend it if you're into independent cinema.

Summary: Bad Movie
Review: My boy friend and I rented this movie and we didn't see the end. We got so bored that we decided to play cards and we had more fun. Acting, script and lights everything was bad! The cover of the movie is eye catching but the first scene of the movie is not and the rest of the scenes are't either.

Summary: Great Gay Independant
Review: This one is a surprise. It has raw cinematography but the emotions run high as we follow three cute guys into three different love scenarios. This pic doesn't play by the rules and is all the better for it. Tons of close-ups on non-made-up actors really pulls the viewer into a unique kind of reality and creates a seriously personal experience. The acting is really first rate all around and the writing is smart and funny too. This is a real diamond in the rough that's worth checking out.
